C Perez Sprinkler & Landscape

We hired C Perez to landscape our yard, put in sod, new irrigation along with mulch and gravel and new plants and couldn't be happier. C came out and gave a very fair estimate and started the following week, finishing in 5 days as promised. C was here every day with his helper Nelson and transformed our front and back yard. He did specialty irrigation for our garden planter boxes. Initially we had wanted a drip line in the planters but discovered later that it did not deliver enough water for our vegetables and C came back out and changed it out to a sprinkler system at no charge. Our neighbor has asked for his contact information after seeing his work at our home. C Perez is honest, extremely hard working (this was during the heat wave) and gave us a very fair quote and the job came in on budget and on time. Couldn't recommend him more and will certainly call him on our next project.

Excellent job by Mr. Perez and his crew. Mr. Perez visited twice to spray plant killer to kill off remnants of the old grass, two weeks in a row. Work started on about the third week. Four long days of hard work by Mr. Perez and his crew followed. Mr. Perez also offered much appreciated advice on the care of some of my plants in the yard. He also suggested using "bubblers" for my laurels, instead of a drip system. They worked hard and cleaned the area each evening. I mean, their equipment stayed overnight, but they swept up each night. Most of our soil had about turned to CLAY and was VERY HARD to dig out. I also appreciated that he 'talked me down' from a project I was considering (privacy fencing on top of our concrete wall). He suggested a way to grow my lantana plant (and add another of the same) to have it grow up for privacy! Perfect solution for much less money. Price was about what I expected, and we got a 10% Angie's List discount. Very happy with the results.

The actual removal and subsequent installation went well, although Cipriano himself ended up not doing the bulk of the work - which was disappointing. The lawn looks great, though there are uneven spots here and there. My biggest complaint is communication. Since the installation, I have called and left messages with questions or requests 3 times, with no response. I additionally referred him to a neighbor, who also got no response to his message of interest. Cipriano is clearly very knowledgeable, and very personable. However, not returning phone calls just isn't professional, and for this reason I can't recommend this company. It's a shame. If it wasn't for that, I certainly would.

The experience has been wonderful! Cipriano (the owner) is very knowledgeable and so is his crew. This is NOT a "Mow, Blow and Go" operation, C Perez Sprinkler & Landscape does first-rate work for us each and every week. We never have to ask them to do anything, they see what needs to be done and do it. Each guy on the crew is friendly and eager to go above and beyond when I need help moving potted plants, boxes, etc, etc. We have a very old sprinkler system and sprinklers break occasionally. When I notice one is broken, I call Cipriano and he comes right over and fixes the problem. I'm very happy I hired C Perez Sprinkler & Landscape and highly recommend them!

I contacted this company four times to schedule a consultation for my landscaping project. I left three voice messages and sent an email via Angie's List. I received no response, not even a courtesy call to let me know they are too busy to take new customers. I honestly do not know how they maintain an "A" rating on Angie's List?

I prepared a "wish list" of the projects I could get done, and when Mr. Perez came to the house to discuss the work, showed him the list and asked what we could get done within my eight man-hours. He looked at the list, and I showed him the work, and he gave me a flat price to do all the work ($600 or $800) I explained that I didn't need to get it all done, but wanted to just do that which would fall within my deal. So he countered offered with a slightly smaller total price. I again explained that I wanted to do only that which could be done within eight manhours, but he didn't seem to understand, and repeated a flat rate for all the work. I have a feeling someone in his office agreed to the Angie's List deal, while Mr. Perez is used to dealing on a flat per-task/project bid. We never did start speaking the same hours/project language, and I ultimately cancelled the deal. He does seem knowledgeable, and if I have future landscape work, would consider him, knowing it would be a per-project flat cost.

He didn't show up to our first appointment. When I emailed him the next day, he claimed his truck "broke down", but offered no excuse as to why he didn't call to let me know he wouldn't be there. I scheduled another appointment, and he did show up this time. I asked for an estimate for a number of fairly big jobs I needed done, and they assured me that they would have one within a week. Never got one. Checked back with him 9 days later, and was told that he got the "flu" but was back to work and would have an estimate soon. Four week go by and I hear nothing. He could have just told me he either didn't want, couldn't handle, or didn't have the time to accept my job. But instead he wastes over a month of my time. Very unprofessional. Would never recommend.

Fantastic. Cipriano and his team are extremely hard working, and everything was done promptly and to the highest standard.

This was a big deal purchase. It was okay. They were very prompt. Nothing stood out. There were two people and one person just did not seem to know to much. I really did not like the way they cut my roses. They did everything that they said their service was going to be about. They were okay at it, but they weren't particularly great at it. I really don't have any complaints. There was nothing great or bad about their service. Their pricing was pretty good, I guess. It was not absolutely great for what they did.

Cipriano and his guys were terrific. They showed up on time, did all the work asked of them, cleaned up after themselves, and were thoroughly professional. I enthusiastically recommend them to all of you

THEY WERE NO-SHOWS. In short, it didn't go because they failed to show up and cancelled on me via an email with only 1 hr notice. During the consultation a week prior, I asked for palm trees several times. We even discussed how the ones in the back of our property died and how much I wanted them replaced. The guy who did the consultation was very nice, punctual and helpful but what I asked for never made it into the sketch. The original sketch didn't even have the one thing I asked for, you know, palm trees. We also discussed how having a dog will wreak havoc on plants so I thought that would be taken into consideration along with me not wanting anything too busy. The sketch basically was an arboretum. I'm sure it's beautiful but for me, way too much. All of this including the final price was off-putting, but I was willing to work with them. We set up an appointment for President's Day even though I specifically asked if they were working on a holiday and I was told yes and they even had a job before me. Well, I guess they decided my $ wasn't a big enough job so at 10:30 am I get an EMAIL stating they aren't showing up to my noon appointment. All we have in business is our word and I don't do laziness or flakes. When I told them that was unacceptable they told me "sorry for the inconvenience but we already did some work."

Another great job. Cipriano Perez is my lawn maintenance company. Always a great job. They also installed our synthetic lawn that still looks perfect after 5 years. We continue to get "wows"from visitors. They have done other jobs over the past ten years. They are always my first call. E. P. Woodland

This has been by far the easiest home project we've had done so far. Cipriano came for a consultation within days of my inquiry, discussed the pros and cons of artificial turf vs. sod in our yard (we have aggressive weeds), dropped off some turf samples the next day, and scheduled an installation for the next week. The work was done with attention to detail - they made sure the underlying ground was level and filled it in with gravel and sand before carefully laying the turf so that there were no gaps at all - even though they were working with a very irregular space. It looks amazing and seems hardy. Best thing we've had done on the house so far (and we've done a lot!). Oh, they also helped me make a pathway through another part of the yard and I don't think they charged me for it! I can highly recommend this company to anyone considering artificial grass, and I'll bet they do a great job of sprinklers and sod as well.

It went great and we were very happy with the results. They were very professional and did their best to work around our schedule and needs. We were so happy with the team that we've also hired them for weekly maintenance and so far have been having a great experience.

The work was done quickly, cleanly, and exactly how I wanted it. Everything I explained to him he understood and tried hard to work with what I had since my budget tight. He gave me a great price and we are really happy with the work. The workers were professional and cleaned up every night before they left. It was a simple job but it really was done well!

They were supposed to start 3-5.They did not show up or call and are not returning my calls. I asked them to call me thirty minutes prior to them showing and I have not hear anything from them. After they did not show I called them and have not received any calls from them explaining the status or whats happening. Its really disappointing that they do not think that new customers are good to retain or communicate. This is not just an estimate this is for weekly maintenance that we had scheduled already.

They were everything one could want as far as workmanship: prompt, communicative, willing to meet my schedule, and did the work exactly as I wished. I have the highest praise for the work they did. There was not one tiny quibble fault in that aspect. They were expensive, but I wanted it done right then. I feel I was paying the higher price for the time demand. I did not want to research a cheaper provider and have the job done later. There was some confusion about their payment. I made the deposit on the full price of the work by credit card through Angie's list. Nobody even hinted at them not taking the same card for the remainder of the work. But when it came time to pay they said Angie's list takes cards, we don't. This was a surprise. I ended up having to pay them by personal check which made a problem for me because I am not the property owner. The card I was using billed to the actual property owner. They said they were willing to set up something with their bank to take credit cards but did not know when that would be. So even there, they seemed to try to accommodate me, just did not get it together in time. Therefore I caution all future customers who are doing a job greater than the Angie's list payment, to double check what kinds of payments they accept if a credit card is involved.

We felt so lucky to find Cipriano and his crew. We completely redid our sizable backyard to convert to drought tolerant landscape and aspired to do as much of the work as possible ourselves, but knew we'd need help on some of the bigger, more complicated jobs. We first found Cipriano for our irrigation. He had the best pricing and got his crew out and right to work so that we could catch up when the project was a bit behind. We played a bit of phone tag before finally getting work scheduled, but between phone and email we finally connected and got everything taken care of. He gave us options and made helpful suggestions for how we could keep costs down now but leave options open for future improvements. Immediately following that first round of work, we had a small leak elsewhere in the pipe system that may or may not have been related to the work his crew did. Still, Cipriano came right out and assessed the problem and helped us fix it. During the course of the irrigation work I mentioned we'd be doing DG and he said his crew did that as well. He showed us some impressive pictures that reflected the smooth curves we envisioned for our project. We still talked to a few other vendors but once again Cipriano had the low bid. So several weeks later, when we were ready, his crew came out once again and did an amazing job laying out our perfect paths and patios along the lines we sprayed out on the ground. It was a big chunk of work but with many hands on the job they were done in two days. With the paths we also had, not so much a problem, but an unanticipated outcome, where because of the curves some of the board began to shift and come away from the paths. Once again, Cipriano and his crew came right back out to not only fix the problem, but give the entire patio and pathways a fresh resurfacing just to make them look there best. We were so impressed by the extra lengths he went to and the obvious pride he took in his work. As our project wound down there were a few days when we needed help moving materials, planting, etc. We'd had such great experiences with Cipriano and his crew that we asked if we could hire 1-2 workers for the day and he was happy to help us. Those extra bodies made the final stages go so much faster and smoother! We love our new yard and a lot of that is due to Cipriano's the great work and affordable rates. We've recommended him to all our friends, and know that he is in demand. So if you have to spend a little extra time on the phone or email, it's totally worth it!

Went Very Well, Quick and reliable!

Great. Very professional. Costs were presented up front to cover large area. Work was cleanly done. Artificially placed. Cipriano's crew relocated and fixed our lighting as well. We're very happy with how everything looks and with the fact we're now using less water.

He listens to what you want to do. He is very nice and very respectful. He is very upfront and honest about what can be done, what should be done. Whenever you need an opinion he'll give you a very honest opinion. If I want a certain kind of plant and it lives on a certain kind of climate he says "Okay but here is what you have to do." He is very knowledgeable and kind. He has very good work ethic. He is really not expensive at all.

Everything was done on time with up most professionalism.

I have never worked with anyone as professional and detail oriented as this company. My yard consistently looks better front and back then it did when we bought the house 2 years ago, and it was staged! I am so grateful for the thorough work, details and intangibles that Cipriano and his crew do every single week. I can't say enough about how pleased I am to work with them. I have had three bad experiences with landscapers in the past who just "mow, blow and go." So glad Cipriano's company has solved that problem for me. Keep up the excellent work!!!

Mr Perez was very nice. He quickly fixed the issue, explained what was going on and told me what work was going to be needed though there was no rush. I appreciated his responsiveness, his knowledge, his generosity and that he was honest about what the next step would be.
