They came out promptly, which was great, because I was unable to use my kitchen sink. They fixed the problem (replaced the rusted garbage disposal) for a reasonable fee without any upselling. It can be very difficult to get Angie's List providers to make calls in South Los Angeles, even when it is advertised as being within their area. It was nice to work with a local company that was glad to have my business. I would definitely call them again for future plumbing needs.

I called Burris Brothers Plumbing and Heating and they were excellent in listening to me describe my problem and have someone come out within the hour to provide service. Their employee named Bud came out and observed what the problem was and instantly knew which tool to use and fixed the problem in ten minutes.

After finding the Burris Bros on Angie’s List a year ago, we have used them ever since for our plumbing needs. They are very reliable and responsive and do excellent work. They go above and beyond and have very reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend.

The gents from Burris were excellent. When I called to have them check our water heater and furnace, they were very responsive. I was concerned that they might not be able to make it out the same day as I was calling in the later part of the afternoon, but they said that they could come that day at 3:30pm. Needless to say, at 3:30 on the dot, they were pulling up to our driveway. That in itself is impressive! They greeted me courteously, didn't chitchat or waste time, but went straight to work checking on the water heater (which had gotten wet during our last big rain), and soon diagnosed the problem. The burner had water in it. Since I was not over their shoulder watching, they certainly could have said I needed a new burner assembly, a new thermocouple, valve control unit, or all three (since those got wet as well) - all of which would have made them more money in parts and labor. Instead, they dumped the water, cleaned and dried out the burner, and got us going again. They even let us know that there might be a future issue with the ignitor, but that as it dried out, it would probably work just fine (they could have just charged us to replace it when it didn't necessarily need to be). They were ethical, actually did troubleshooting to fix the problem instead of simply replacing parts, and ended up charging very reasonably for their labor. They looked at the furnace as well, said they couldn't really get to a thorough exam right away, but contacted one of their associates who could. They went above and beyond in doing so. They could easily have said they needed to come back later - thus saving the job for themselves. Instead, they got us together with someone else, even though it cost them the $$ they would have gotten by keeping that job for themselves. They showed they were more concerned with making sure the customer got what they needed instead of keeping the money and the job. THIS is how a company gets repeat business! I highly recommend Burris Brothers, and will use them again for future plumbing and heating needs.

I called and spoke with Kenny and he was able to send his workers out the same day, very prompt! I told him over the phone what I needed done because I was not home. The workers went and did some of the work that I requested and missed 1 thing. I called Kenny back and he said he would come out himself on Monday to check the job out. He came back Monday and completed job, Everything was done perfectly! Very professional, I would use them again for future work .

Fantastic service--just fantastic. The indoor sink looks great and the outdoor sink is sturdy and all of them work like dream. And the plumbers were super professional and fun to work with. Definitely recommended.

Removed old disposal and installed new one. They purchased disposal of very good quality.

Called and spoke to Kenny. He responded to my property quickly. assessed the damage, and replaced the damaged bib. He actually repositioned it to ensure it didn’t get damaged again. He was friendly and helpful and we conducted the entire process over the phone as I couldn’t be there. He also sent photos via text as he was repairing the bib.

Mr. Burris replaced my sewage pump faster than expected, and at a reasonable price. He kept me informed of his progress with regular text messages, texted photos and phone calls (as I was out of town when the work was being done), and completed the work on time and in the quoted price range. Burris Brothers immediately responded to my request and gave me a near to exact estimate for the job while on the phone. They assessed the problem the same day of the call, scheduling a return the next morning with all of the materials needed. The crew finished in a little under the time they estimated. They listed closely to my request, they kept a clean work space (completely cleaned up afterwards), and executed the work needed, perfectly! Kenny and the crew were kind and respectful of my property. The cost came in two-thirds LESS than the other two quotes I received.

We just finished remodeling our condo. Unfortunately, we had a lot of issues with our contractor's plumber, so we decided to hire another plumber to finish the fixtures and appliance installations for us. In comes KennyWe had 2 extensive walk-through's with Kenny before he started and shows him EXACTLY what was being asked of him, and all the installs that were "unique" because we knew we had some special installs. None of them read any of the instructions that came with the appliance, despite us telling them that they should because some of our units were new to market. As a result, they neglected to take out (4) 7" bolts from our combo washer/dryer, causing us the 10-year warranty that we had paid for and almost breaking our unit. They also had no idea how to install a counter-top sink where it doesn't move. The sink STILL moves around and he still hasn't figure out that he just needs to put some silicone underneath to prevent it from moving around. In the end, they installed everything but they were extremely dirty. They left shoe marks on every single wall that was near them, causing us to hire our painter back to repaint some of the walls because it wouldn't clean. They left the packaging to the appliances and the fixtures everywhere, where as all of our other vendors cleaned up after themselves. They were not resourceful in figuring out unique solutions to any problem that came up; I basically had to guide them along. On a positive note, Kenny and his team are very kind and honest people, which is why I've given him a much better rating that I would have if they weren't. Kindness, respect and punctuality say a lot about a vendor. I just don't think they're cut out for new construction. They're probably better suited for regular repairs.

I wish all repairs could go as smoothly as this. It's refreshing to find someone who is honest, arrives when they say they will and puts a fair price on a repair. As a landlord, we will definitely keep Burris Brothers in our files for future use.

Not only did Kenny show up on time, he juggled his schedule around to fit me in. He gave me an excellent price and he completed the job in less than 2 hours. They were the best! I highly recommend them, and I will definitely use them again.
