Bobcat Carpet & Fabric Care

Cleaners arrived within the advertised time window and did the job. Cleaning job was OK.... EXCEPT: At least three details were unsatisfactory: 1- screwed up one drape (I paid $25 to get this fixed.) 2- messed up table lamp when moving night stand (I found parts under the bed) 3- Left bed skirt stuffed between box spring and mattress (no mention by workers, I fixed later) (There are a couple of other things which may have been due to this sloppiness re details, not sure. Attitude of workers was not good.) Talked to co-owner Al and was disappointed with his attitude. He agreed to reimburse my cost to fix the drape... BUT, he tried to make me feel guilty for not calling him first. Co-owner Al was preoccupied with telling me how great his company is vs. being concerned with an unhappy customer (I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. He offered no other efforts to mitigate my negative feelings.) Final comment: One expects more from a company whose prices are two to four time competitors. $25 is definitely not the point, lack in interest in the customer's feelings is the point.

I contacted Bobcat to inquire about price and how long it would take to pickup, clean and return two oriental carpets. The price quoted was based on the square footage of the carpets to be cleaned. I want to say it was approximately $500 to clean both carpets. I set an appointment to have the carpets picked up for the following week. When they asked about when I wanted them back, I asked for the earliest date possible. They indicated they could return the carpets approximately one week later and set up the return date at the same time. The person on the phone told me that I didn't need to move furniture. Their technicians would do that. On the scheduled pickup date, two men showed up within 30 minutes or less from the start of the window time I was given. As promised, the two men moved the heavy furniture items while they rolled up the two carpets. At no point, did they slide any furniture items. They picked them up off the floor to move them. As they were rolling up the carpets, the technicians showed me where there had been some water damage to one of the carpets. Some of the colors on the back of the carpet had started to bleed together. They also noted that the carpet pads had deteriorated. He told me that Bobcat could provide new carpet pads and gave me a price of approximately $400. They asked if I wanted them to take the old pads and dispose of them. I told them to take the old pads. I want to say they did not charge me for the removal. When rolling up the second oriental carpet, an area was discovered under one of the chairs that looked like moth damage. It was approximately 2" in diameter. I asked if they could do repairs on that area. The technician indicated they subcontract wool reweaving to someone who did good work. Since this work was subcontracted, they could not quote me a price. They informed me that once the carpet got back to their shop, the subcontractor would have to come see the damage area and give me a price. He also informed me that reweaving would require more time. They would not be able to meet the original return date. The following week, I got a call from Bobcat indicating that repair of the two areas would be approximately $450. I approved that work. Since Bobcat was not doing the repair work, they told me they would contact me when the carpets were ready to be returned. They did not require a deposit to start the work. I got a second call from Bobcat a few days later. Once the subcontractor had started work on the carpet, they noticed a lot of smaller area of damage around the edge of the carpet. He gave me an estimate of $1,200 to do the additional repairs. I decided to not have the additional repairs done. I got a call about two weeks later to let me know the carpets and pads were ready. I made the appointment. Once again they showed up very nearly at the start time of the appointment window. Once again, they moved furniture out of the way and put down the new pads and the carpets. The carpets looked brand new. When I examined the areas that had been repaired, I could not locate them. The color match and the appearance of the carpet was identical.

Second time I've used them. Excellent cleaning. Got out difficult pet stains on carpet. Sofa looks great. Left a bottle of spot cleaner as an extra.

I'm beginning to wonder if there's anything they can't clean. I'm on my way back with our garden furniture upholstery!

Had a %10 off coupon otherwise minimum is $250. This is the third time I've used this company. The workers are nice, prompt, clean and they even remembered my son's name from the last time. They seemed to have done a good job...it's still wet. I've been happy with them and plan to continue to use them.. Very easy to work with.

I actually sign up for Angie's List to find a Dry Cleaners that will do a good work, but my experience with this place was terrible. They were very pricey and didnt do a good job.I give them some of my pants and my husbands pants to do alterations. They shorten my pants and the first day I worn them hem opened up, so I took it back to them to fix it. Same happen after they fixed it. So after 3 times they finally fixed my pants. My husbands pants were a little small, so we asked them to open up on the back as much as possible. While doing that they made a hole in them and it took them more than a month to fix that problem and still the place where hole was visible.Terrible. Will not recommend this business.

Bobcat did a very careful job on my silk drapes, considering that the silk had some weak spots from sun damage. They warned me in advance that the silk might fall away and tear during cleaning because of their condition, but I took my chances. I was expecting the worst, and I am pleased with the results. There was only a small amount of additional wear at the top edge where the silk is folded, and I can live with that. Bobcat's pricing is a bit high, but it is worth it if you want careful cleaning. In past years, they have cleaned furniture and find Persian rugs. I would trust them to do work for me in the future. The staff have always been courteous and knowledgeable.

I don't remember the actual price, I just put in $250 as a placeholder since the site requires it. Bobcat doesn't undercut pricing, but the service and workmanship is top-notch. I'm perfectly happy to pay for a job well done.

we purchased a coupon to get our carpets cleaned. it was easy to set up an appointment, even for a weekend. the technician arrived early went over my options that came with the coupon and options that I could add on top of what we already bought. he went over his plan and how long it would all take. he helped move furniture so that we could get the majority of the carpet cleaned. unfortunately shortly after he began the steamer broke. he located a new one and returned in 2 hours to finish the job.

They made them look brand new. They were punctual and on time.

We were looking for a company that specialized in oriental rug cleaning, so we called Bobcat and asked if they could clean multiple oriental rugs. They came out, loaded up the rugs and gave an estimated time of completion. When they delivered the rugs back to us, the rugs were not only very clean, but more vibrant than they had ever been. The rugs didn't smell like chemicals either, which is a huge plus. They helped us lay all the rugs back where they were before without needing to haul furniture out of the way. At the time they were being cleaned, we had gotten rid of a mat for one of our rugs. They took this as a safety concern because without a mat, a rug can be insecure and make people slip. So they offered to come out and custom cut a replacement mat for the rugs that needed them (with a fee of course). Overall, Bobcat's service was great. High quality rug cleaning, their estimated times of completion and deliveries were spot-on, and the people who came out to represent them were very polite and helpful. If our oriental rugs ever need to be cleaned in the future, we'll definitely be seeking Bobcat's services again.

They did a really good job. I didnt think some of the traffick areas would have gotten as clean as they did. The price was very reasonable.

Really great service. Great customer service to arrange a pick up and they came in the time window promised. Evaluated the rugs and gave me a quote, including indicating that they would honor an Angie's list coupon. Rugs were completed before the time indicated and then returned and relocated, the two workers took teh time to really make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. And the rugs themselves are looking good as new. Very highly recommended -- fair pricing and excellent service

I had some very dirty chairs and a couch that had seen one too many dog visits and were in terrible shape due to me trying to clean them on my own. Bobcat gave me an estimate via email that was spot on, scheduled a day that worked for me with a very precise time window, then the night before the scheduled appointment i got a call letting me know the truck they use would need some servicing so they might be a little bit late. They were still within the initial time frame, despite the friendly call, and the servicemen who showed up to my house were professional, informative and very experiences. It was raining that day, so they had to improvise and do the cleaning inside, with hardwood flooring being a bit of an issue, but they covered all the surfaces, did the job efficiently and thoroughly, and left my floors in perfect shape. They reminded me to use my Angies List Coupon when I paid, and saved me twenty percent! I was so impressed with Bobcat from start to finish. I will recommend them to everyone and only use this company in the future. GREAT JOB!

These people are just great, very nice and did an excellent job. Also, they don't disarrange everything in the house, which is a real relief when you're dealing with carpets.

This is the third time we've used Bobcat and are still completely satisfied with their performance and professionalism. Providers Fernando and Miguel were prompt, friendly and quick; yet thorough and careful. I know Fernando had performed my cleaning the time before, I think Miguel was as well, but I'm not 100% sure on that. They work well together. They were very methodical; Miguel did prep and finish work while Fernando did the cleaning. I'm always amazed with their results considering the condition of the carpet before they start. They also continue to give 10% discount to Angie's List members. I will be calling them again next time.

Called on a Friday for emergency service. Soonest was the next day which was a reasonable time. I had done the pre spot cleaning due to a sick dog (diarrhea) but needed further stain removal and cleaning. The minimum cost for any of their service calls if $150 and I had to ask what else besides the small area could be included because they did not offer anything extra initially. After asking, they said I could get the hallway and a bedroom cleaned which I agreed to. They left the carpet very wet, it seemed to need more extraction but it was dry by that evening (about 8 hours later). They did get the pet stains out but there were a few spots of what looks like grease which remain. Certainly not calling them back for and I would not use them again.

From the first phone call to the final re-installation of my Roman Shades this was an entirely satisfactory experience. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant & professional. They did a very good job cleaning the Roman Shades and an excellent job re-installing them - even steamed them once they were up to insure that they hung correctly. I will use them in the future again for carpet and upholstry cleaning, as well as drapery cleaning. Overall, just a very good experience.

I used them last year and I have recommended them and I would use them this year and I would recommend them again. They are on time and they do a good job.

I had called several steam cleaning companies before calling Bobcat. The others either (1) said they would not clean a mattress because the mattress would absorb and retain the moisture from the steam and get moldy (I appreciated their honesty) or (2) claimed they could clean everything and gave loose, unexplained promises that mold is never an issue (which made me not trust them). I then called Bobcat. They said they could clean the mattress and acknowledged that the mattress would need to be thoroughly dried. They explained they would pick up the mattress and take it to their facility to clean and thoroughly dry in-house for several days. They were very helpful and courteous on the phone. Their cleaning prices seemed comparable to other places, and the pickup/delivery service was $60 total. It took about a week for the mattress to be ready for delivery. They did a great job--mattress was delivered dry, clean and completely odor-free. The pickup/delivery men were courteous, careful, and very quick. Only gripe (minor) was they were running late to deliver the mattress, which almost became a problem because of some work calls I had to make, but during the 2-hr delivery window they called to let me know they were running late and we rescheduled to later that afternoon for the delivery.

They did a good job and they were on time.

It went very well. I had only requested stain removal, but the crew offered to clean the entire carpet for their minimum price, and also honored an Angie's List coupon. They were prompt and professional, and did an excellent job. They warned me that blood stains may come back, but right now the stains are not visible at all. They even left me a free sample of their spot remover. The price was on the high side, but considering that I was afraid I might have to replace the entire carpet, it was well worth it.

This company touts itself as being eco-friendly. I am pregnant with a toddler at home and was looking for just that when choosing a carpet cleaning company. I told Vicki I was interested in having my carpet cleaned and asked what the ingredients were in their carpet cleaner and she snapped, "What is the reason you want to know?" Well Vicki, I don't use cleaners in my house unless I've checked their toxicity and am assured that we are only using safe products. I told her that the other four companies I called had no problem giving me that information and directing me to the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and I wondered why they were so reticent to do so themselves. She said that they usually don't give that information out, but that she would ask the owner if he was okay with it and then he would call me back. Three weeks later, he never called. Angie's List clearly stated that they do not verify a companies green credentials, therefore, that is our job. This company has something to hide, whether it's trade secrets or that they are not really environmentally-friendly. EIther way, as a consumer, I am not comfortable using or recommending them.
