Description of Work: As expected they did a great job with the actual work! It was the middle-man hiccups that so often accompany Los Angeles home repair/improvement work that was a nuisance. Scheduling was great and I even GOT the 1/2 hour call everyone promises! However, upon arrival, the technician complained "there is no where to park!". I was not told or asked during scheduling about the parking situation. In Los Angeles, if you are a service provider and parking is an issue for you... YOU SAY SOMETHING DURING the SCHEDULING consultation!! Anyway. After I was undetered on this issue, he figured it out for himself and got the job done. Final point: When I am paying a premium price for a service, I expect it to go smoothly.

Description of Work: Cleaned 1000 of our 10 year old carpet in 2012. Did a fantastic job & got stains out we thought were forever. Yes, they cost a little more but there aren't as many headaches either. Will be using them again in a week for our rental unit!

Description of Work: Rug picked up. Rug cleaned at their facility. Rug rolled up for storage and delievered back to my house. My old dog had several accidents on our Persian rug, which is 33 years old. The woman who answered the phone was professional and curteous. She explained that since it was so soon after Thanksgiving, they were swamped. (I can only guess that either people were getting ready for Christmas company, or that they had some major spills at Thanksgiving dinner!). So the next appointment was for a couple of weeks away. I did not mind because I was going to have the rug picked up, cleaned, then rolled up for storage. No sense in putting it back down on the floor when the old dog is still having accidents. The two men arrived exactly at the time they promised. They moved the furniture out of the way and when we saw the dust that had collected on the baseboard under the sofa, I went to get my Swiffer duster. The man wouldn't let me clean it myself, he insisted on doing it for me. he did a good job. They also moved all of the furniture I needed moved in order to get the rug off the floor. They took the rug away and then about a week later it was ready for delievery. Since I wanted it rolled up for storage, it was rolled up and sealed in plastic. They were prompt and professional and communicated well. My only surprise was that it cost more for the rug to be picked up and taken to their facility than it cost for the rug to be cleaned in your home. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: Once again a great job - but the cost seems to have gone up. We only had two large rooms cleaned and a chair and the cost was over $600. We had been quoted approximately $400 but we had to add a small armchair. We are past clients, it seems like the more you use them the price just keeps getting higher.

Description of Work: Instead of an estimate over the phone, they sent out someone very professional who measured all the rooms and gave us a quote for everything. he explained it clearly and was not pushy in any way which I appreciated. I had been comparison shopping and also inquiring from another company who only gave me a phone quote and the day I thought we were scheduled for the carpet cleaning, I (because the quote came in lower, I initially selected them), they sent out an individual who started to tell me about all the additional costs compared to clean pet urine, lift furniture to place plastic under feet, etc., compared to what the telephone quote had been. This really frustrated me. Within the hour, I immediately called Bobcat Carpet and scheduled them because I knew their quote was written and binding and I felt more comfortable with that. They sent out 2 great guys who put plastic or lifts under all our antique furniture so the old wooden or metal furniture legs wouldn't rust or leave a mark on any carpet that might still be damp. They were able to get out a year old urine spot from a dog and though our carpet was 13 years old, and never cleaned before, it looked so much better. The only drawback was that we had the carpet cleaned during a week when it was cold and raining outside and it took about 4 - 6 days to completely dry to where we felt safe to move the items back.
