Description of Work: Called to find out whether they had some extruded aluminum for a project. spent a lot of time on hold and then when they did pick up the call was dropped. Decided to take the drive to see what was in stock, the store could be a favorite to locals but it wasn't worth the drive.

+ 0 moreAn excellent, no-sweat experience - A REAL Neighborhood Hardware Store - Like "Back-In-The-Day."
Description of Work: I had them re-screen all my window screens - They came back looking brand new.I needed keys - They took care of that too.The guy in the plumbing section is ACTUALLY a plumber - The Electric section - Ditto, he may as well be an electrician if he's not - The Paint Dept is very careful and accurate with your order. B&B is simply the Best all-around hardware store on the west side.Whenever you get tired of wandering around Home Depot and asking questions of minimum wage, minimum training people who just shrug their soldiers, and waste your time - Go to B&B. They don't have the vast inventory of a HD, and they cost a bit more, but more than likely you will leave satisfied.

+ -1 moreOverall a good experience. Prices are better at Home Depot but its a long drive and they don't have an expert staff to answer questions.
Description of Work: I have used B @ B Hardware on numerous occasions and always found them to carry almost everything I need. Also their staff is very good at answering questions about plumbing, electrical, and other types of service.

+ -1 moreThey have the most knowledgeable help of any store I have ever gone to. They tell you exactly what to use to fix the problem. I have been using them for 40 years. They are the first guys I go to. I would recommend them to other people and I will be using their services in the future. Their prices are reasonable and I love their services.

Description of Work: I had a toilet that would periodically get stuck. They told me I needed to use a toilet snake and he got the tool out for me.

+ -1 moreThey carry a great selection of merchandise. The help is super knowledgeable and friendly. I found decorative, punched metal screen for a radiator cover and an odd-sized vent cover there which I could not find at Home Depot, Osh, or White Cap.
