Description of Work: Arne is a real old-school craftsman and professional, and knows his garage doors inside and out. He was the only one out of several garage door guys who suggested on his own that the door could be fixed and pointed out how the way it had initially been installed had contributed to its breaking in the first place (aluminum door buckled in the middle). Door works even better than before, and saved me hundreds of dollars. Talk to Arne before replacing your door.

Description of Work: I had Arne give me an e stimate on replacing my old garage door with a new sectional door. The quality of his doors, hardware, opener, etc., seemed to be very good based on other estimates I had received, and his price was competitive. He made an error on the scheduled date of the estimate and showed up a day early which caused me a bit of a problem, and that is why I rated him down a bit on professionalism. Arne seems like a very nice person, and he knew all the answers to my questions, so I have no doubt that he does a fine job., I just decided to go with another company the new door.

Description of Work: Prompt, but first quoted $390 for spring replacement, then said, no, $290. He admitted springs cost $75 each, total of 150. Ok, I said, how about 250? Job takes 30 minutes he said. Ok, 250, sounds fair? He said no and drove off. Really that busy? Sorry, don't buy it, greedy.
