ANR Roofing

ANR put me in touch with one of their contractors, who initially said he would have to charge me $250 to inspect my roof. In the end he agreed to come over and take a look, for free. He was helpful in explaining how the roof needed to be maintained, and he said that he would call me back in 5-10 minutes with an estimate for the broken tiles. He didn't call back. ANR sent me an e-mail the following week to ask if I had received an estimate, and I said no, and I never heard back from them. I got the impression they didn't want to deal with me because I wasn't offering them a big job.

Went great. ANR was the first estimate I got. He told me that the old roof couldn't be repaired and gave me an estimate for the new roof. He showed me the company's licenses and insurance certificates, told me about the crew that would do the work, assured me that he knew all the workers (they weren't just guys the company picked up outside a home improvement store), and answered any questions I had about the process. I got two other estimates on the job. One was higher than ANR's and the other guy said he could repair it, but that seemed unlikely to me. The crew came out early the morning they said they would, and in the first day they had removed the entire roof and almost completed putting on the new one! The second day there was some confusion about supplies, so no work was done, but the third day they came in the morning and were done within a few hours. The roof looks fantastic, the workers were incredibly fast, polite and thorough. They cleaned up very well when they were finished (there were a few pieces of debris in the trees, but they were in spots that were hard to reach and hard to see, so they might not have even known they were there). Andy came out to check the work and make sure I was satisfied. Overall, a GREAT experience. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for roofers.

They were very responsive, on time, and were able to schedule the work quickly. However, the shingles used to repair the roof don't quite match the existing shingles. This matters, since one of the windows of the house has a partial view of that part of the roof. In addition, in repairing some areas around skylights, the skylights were removed and debris landed in the house. The debris wasn't cleaned up and paint was chipped. The gutter that was installed looks great. I realized later that I didn't receive the 5% discount (Angie's List coupon).

They were terrific. They came gave us an estimate, and told us the different ways they could do it. We chose how we wanted it done, and they came right away and did it. They were neat and clean. We were very pleased with them.

They did a great job and the work was aesthetically more pleasing than expected.

The experience was fantastic. Andy the owner was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They started and finished the day they said they would. The workers were punctual. They also did a fantastic job of cleaning up when they left. I would recommend them to others.

The workmen showed up on time, went right to work, and cleaned up after themselves. There was always someone in charge who spoke excellent English. It was relatively painless, but if you have to stay at home during this, buy some earplugs, because the thumping and banging can be somewhat unnerving.

Andy's guys worked hard, but I don't think they are well trained. They did a surprising amount of damage to the new roof shingles during installation. Andy fixed some shoddy workmanship problems, and offered to fix the roof new shingle damage. But I don't want these guys on my roof again in case they cause more damage than they repair. I took photos during installation which I showed Andy.

The owner, Andy Chavez took care of getting the permit from the city and set up the appointments for them to sign off on the job. Manuel's crew arrived every day by 9am. They had the original roof off and cleaned up the first day. They had the new roof and skylights on in 3 days. They were very efficient and cleaned up every day. They did an outstanding job! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is a very good company. The owner came out, explained what needed to be done and gave me a bid. I hired them; they came out and finished the job in three days. They cleaned up everything so it looked like they had never been here. The office lady always kept me up to date as if they had been delayed or what was happening every day. It showed me that the foreman made reports back to the office on how things were going. I want to add that I wouldn't know how to rate their quality of work, but to me the roof looks good but won't know how it is until it rains.

ANR was one of three estimates we received. We chose ANR, the middle-priced bid because, they seemed to be more professional. One of the companies that gave an estimate was lower in cost but, was going to re-roof over the existing roof, which we did not believe was a good idea. ANR showed up on time on the date scheduled and finished the job efficiently and carefully. They even replaced some wood shingles that had come off the siding of our chimney, which required some tall climbing.

He matched the price I had found. His original price was double that. They did the roof in one and a half days. They did good work. I would highly recommend them.

They did such a good job, they were very nice, and cleaned up beautifully after they left. I highly recommend them.

We decided to hire ANR on a Saturday, and on Tuesday morning they were here starting the job. They were finished by Thursday at lunch. They were courteous, professional, and left my property neater then they found it. We had one problem: the crew accidentally knocked out our air conditioning unit during demolition. Andy (the owner) quickly got someone out to our house to fix the problem.

Poor. I called the company early Friday morning to set up an appointment to get an estimate on replacing our roof. I spoke to a woman (very polite, professional) who took all my information down and she said she would contact the estimator that day and that he would contact me to set up an appointment. I asked when I could expect the call from the estimator and was told that it would most likely be the same day (Friday). It is now 5:00 p.m. on Monday and I have not heard a word from anyone. I guess business is so good that they don't need to return calls. I have not called back as I am concerned that this lack of response might be indicative of the service I would receive if I contracted with them for the job.

They were very fast and clean. They had a very fair price.

Great! Excellent quality, fast work, and on budget. Andy kept me informed (since the work was on a rental house that I don't live in) and kept my tenants happy.

I was very pleased. After completing the repair of the flashing, the worker thoroughly hosed down the flashing to check that the roof no longer leaked, which was an added assurance.

Really great! The original bid was 9400, but we added the reflective paint and there was more rotted plywood then he first expected. He always showed us what had changed and why it was going to,and got our approval before he raised the quote. There was a mix-up on the shingle color, the manufacturers sent the wrong color, but Andy called the company right away and had the correct shingles delivered. The men were always prompt and considerate, and Chris, the person running the job on sight, was great. They got the whole job done in 4 days and it might have been 3 if not for the color snafu.

That if you could give them higher than an A I definitely would.

Andy suggested a lower cost solution to welding on new elbows. He suggested getting gutter extenders that would fit on the end of the gutters without any additional work. When I first made contact with the company, Andy told me a manager would call me to arrange a time and date for the work but this person never called. I had to follow up and leave several messages. When Andy finally returned my call he didn't leave enough information about who he was, why he was calling or how to contact him. I had to figure that all out. It took some time for Andy and I to arrange a suitable work date.

This was a small job, but because of the off and on rainy weather, they worked me in the very next day following acceptance of the bid. Work was done beautifully with no damage to plantings surrounding the work area. I could not be more pleased.

This was a big job and I had recently had my house painted. Andy instructed his crew to take special care with the demolition to save the paint job, which I greatly appreciated. While the crew was careful, there were some mishaps during the demolition, which caused a bit of damage to some exterior moldings. Andy was very attentive and careful to make sure that everything was immediately and carefully repaired. Andy went above and beyond in addressing my concerns. I believe he approaches every job with the determination to do excellent work and create satisfied customers. In discussing the best way to re-attach the satellite dish, I asked if there might be a product that would allow me to re-install the dish without screwing into the roof. Andy went searching and found the perfect solution. I was duly impressed with his efforts and I will recommend him to friends.
