American Plumbing and Electric frightened my 83 year old father who is handicapped and has diminished hearing into believing that the fuse box was about to burn up and cause a house fire. They told him it would cost $3,280.00 to repair and my father who was confused and fearful paid the bogus bill with a Visa card. The L.A. Contractors License Bureau has taken away their license but they still operate outside the law using bogus numbers. I took them to court and won the judgement against them and we are trying to get restitution for my father. At present they are under investigation by the office of the City Attorney. My grandmother lost power in part of her house. I called American Electric and in 45 minutes we had an electrician working on the problem. He was very professional and took great care of my grandmother. By the time I got to her house he had the power back on and made all of us very happy. I couldn't believe how fast they got someone out on Sunday evening. I will refer all my friends and family to them.
