+ 0 moreThey are very cost conscious and they do things the cheaper way. We've gotten our problems resolved when we've needed to but we haven't always been in glorious gratitude. We pay a yearly fee and it is pretty high. They are average for that kind of business. They are pretty competitive pricewise as far as I know but I haven't done an extensive checking on that. They bring in individual companies who are on contract with them. We've had some good experiences in the past and one or two weren't as wonderful as it might have been. They were okay but they weren't as responsive as they might have been. There was no real problem that I'm aware of that we've had. Their responsiveness was pretty good. I think they are pretty professional but the companies that they hire are not always wonderfully professional.
Description of Work: American Home Service is our home warranty company. We used them for some plumbing work.

+ -1 moreThey came on very short notice which I really liked. In fact, I called them this morning and they were here this afternoon which is unusual. The guy was friendly, efficient and had good hygiene. He showed up on time and was able to get the job done. What more could I ask for? The price was also fantastic due to the warranty program that I have with them. He was here for over an hour and would have probably charged me anywhere from $75 - $100 but I was only charged $55 for the service.
Description of Work: American Home Shield sent out an electric company and they fixed a ceiling fan in my kitchen as it was wobbly, shorting out, and wasn't working properly. He tightened it for me so it wouldn't wobble anymore.

+ -1 moreTHIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE USED AMERICAN HOME SERVICE. MY HOUSE HAS ALL TILE FLOORS. I LEAVE FOR THE DAY AS IT TAKES THE MEN SEVERAL HOURS TO MOVE ALL THE FURNITURE AND CLEAN THE TILE. IT DRIES IN A FAIRLY SHORT TIME AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB.
Description of Work: CLEAN AND RESEAL TILE FLOORS THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE INCLUDING BATHROOMS. DEEP CLEAN, GROUT DETAIL, STEAM RINSE, SEAL GROUT, ALL FURNITURE MOVED.
