Awful experience. Basically, the guy turned up to my house the first time I called and has never showed up again despite setting appointments multiple times. He just never shows up and wastes peoples time. So the work was never done and I just called someone else to do.Don't waste your timing calling this company.

The repairman (who arrived slightly earlier than scheduled but who called in advance to give me his revised ETA) said there was nothing wrong with the pump. He pointed out another issue with the dishwasher that I hadn't noticed - it wasn't properly spraying water from its upper spray arm - and said he would perform a standard maintenance. He did the maintenance, removing a broken part that obstructed the water flow to the upper arm (that is no longer available but is not essential) and cleaned the filter. The dishwasher now works much better and as a bonus even drains properly. I am thoroughly satisfied and will use this company again. I had used them earlier to repair a microwave oven, again with great success. I thought the repair cost was very reasonable.

Overall experience was positive.

They did pretty much come when they said they were coming. The guy just examined it to try to figure out what the leak was, but he didn?t really spend very much time with it. He said that he had removed a filter and cleaned it out, but that he thought the reason why it was leaking was because of an electronic control problem. He said that I would have to call the manufacturer and all this other stuff. That was pretty much it. He was here for about 10 minutes. He didn?t fix it. It continued to leak. I wasn?t too pleased with him. He pretty much charged just the service fee. He didn?t seem that interested in really probing and trying to figure out what was really wrong with it. He seemed more interested in getting his service fee and leaving than on really trying to figure out what was wrong with our appliance. I would not use them in the future. When I had another company come out, it took them almost 2 or 3 weeks to really figure out what it was and get it fixed.

The provider was responsive, went to the property promptly, communicated with us about the problem, was very efficient and got the job done.

I think a belt had come loose and that was the problem, but they told me the drive motor needed replaced, which was a more expensive repair than simply changing out the belt. Their writing on the invoice is not legible, so I'm having trouble reading what they actually say they did. I don't believe the motor had gone bad becuase we had replaced it a year earlier.

My experience with GE Appliance Service was very positive. They were very professional and came out the next day. They were very good. The serviceman was a very nice guy. He cleaned up after the job and put a protective clothe down on the floor while he was doing the work.

They had the part that I needed and they came out the same day. They pointed out something else that needed to be fixed and they came out and fixed it that day. They were able to take care of everything that day when the previous company I had tried to use took almost a week.

They do great work. I have used them time and time again.

First Zack told me the compressor was bad and must be replaced at a cost of $1200. When I told him that seemed very expensive and that I was going get a second opinion he then rechecked the compressor and it was miraculously okay (he said it was because it had cooled down.) Okay, whatever. Then he recharged the system with refrigerant (which had apparently leaked out) and he cleaned the area below the refrigerator. The refrigerator was working fine when he left. But he did not check for leaks before leaving and two days later the refrigerator was broken again. I called to try to resolve the problem with him before writing this report but I could not. He said it was not his responsibility to check for leaks after the repair was complete. He got angry when I mentioned their poor Better Business rating (something I learned after picking them.) He claimed that the rating would automatically go up if he paid their fees. I am calling someone else to complete the job.

I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME BACK TO KEEP ME POSTED WITHIN THE PAST MONTH. I THINK THAT IS POOR SERVICE. HE WAS GOOD ABOUT GETTING OUT TO ME INITIALLY.

THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT THE SAME DAY. THEY WERE VERY TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL. HE HAD EVERYTHING HE NEEDED IN HIS TRUCK, HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING, AND THERE WAS NO MONKEY BUSINESS. HE WAS ABLE TO COME AT AN UNGODLY HOUR, FRIDAY NIGHT AROUND 10PM, AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE EXPERIENCE.
