I am 67 years old and the below experience is with out a doubt, the WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to Albee's on June 13th 2022 to buy a new refrigerator because my old one just DIED. I dealt with a sales person named SadIno (or whatever it is) I will refer to him as "PPPL" which stands for PATHETIC, PROFESSIONAL, PATHOLOGICAL LIAR!!! I told PPPL I liked the Frigidaire and LG models BUT needed an ice maker. The Frigidaire icemaker was $90 cheaper BUT would take two weeks to get that ice maker and PPPL said they had the LG ice maker in stock so even though it was $90 more, I went for the LG. PPPL said it would be delivered the next day. On Friday, the delivery truck shows up and I say to the driver "this has the ice maker correct" and he says "NO"!!!! He looks at the invoice and PPPL did NOT add the ice maker on the invoice. I said "WHAT'S UP WITH THAT " and he says "what sales person did you buy it from" and I described PPPL and he says" OH!!!!! THERE IS ALWAYS A PROBLEM WITH ANYTHING THAT GUY DOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" GREAT!!! We call PPPL and he say's "oh, we will get you the ice maker tomorrow" and that was the start of a three week BATTLE to get my ice maker, WHICH TO THIS DATE, JULY 30TH, I NEVER GOT FROM ALBEES!!!!! Every time I called and asked for PPPL,( probably about 20 times in a three week period) I was put on hold for at least 10 minutes each time and when he finally picked up, he was always "oh, let me make a call and I'll call you right back" WHICH HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK ONCE!!!!!! And every time he told me I would have the ice maker the NEXT DAY, THERE WAS ALWAYS SOME TYPE OF LAME EXCUSE THAT PPPL GAVE ME WHY IT COULDN'T BE DONE THAT DAY!!!!!!!! Also, every time on the phone, he would refer to me as "my friend" he'd be like "OH, MY FRIEND" I'M NOT YOUR FRIEND!!!!!! IF THIS IS THE WAY HE TREATS HIS FRIENDS, I HATE TO THINK HOW HE TREATS HIS ENEMIES!!!!!!!! I finally went to the LG web site and actually bought the ice maker directly from LG for $135 which was WAY CHEAPER than what PPPL was going to charge me!!! IF YOU LIKE BEING LIED TO AND LIKE YOUR BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS TO BE PAINFUL AND TORTUROUS AND WANT YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE TO GO SKY HIGH, DEAL WITH SADINO (PPPL) AT ALBEES!!!! YOU WILL BE IN FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Sabino, "the salesman", is all talk, no action. Fortunately, today, we got our refund back after dealing directly with the co-owner. DO NOT do business with them. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Below is a detail of our horror story if you want to know why. We ordered a Kitchenaid backplash in Nov.2013. Sabino promised that it'd be delivered in 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks, my wife called and Sabino said that it'd take another 3 weeks. After 3 more weeks, we called Sabino and he said "let me check the order, and I'll call you right back." His infamous words are "...let me call you right back", which he ONLY ONCE called us back after I yelled at him. He NEVER called my wife back after she hounded him daily after 5 weeks. I had to personally call Whirlpool/Kitchenaid to see if he really ordered the unit or not. Kitchenaid/Whirlpool confirmed that it was delivered back in early December to their Gardena warehouse. Sabino called shortly after my phone calls to say that the backsplash was found and ready for pick up. But when my wife went to pick up the backsplash only 1 of 2 boxes showed up; the other important piece was missing. After another week and a half, I called to follow up on the missing piece and got the run around again. This time we asked for the manager, Solomon. Solomon seemed nice and sincere, at first, and promised to look for the missing part himself over the weekend and promised to deliver it to us on the following Monday. When we called to follow up and pick the part on Monday, my wife was told that "they no longer make the unit and to come and get our refund." Hmm, that's really suspicious. At least we got our full refund back. What a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. A nightmare of an experience. WARNING: DO NOT DO business with ALBEE'S.

They are great right up until you give them the money, then they throw you right under the bus. We bough ELEVEN appliances, (2 refrigerators, 2 washers, 2 dryers, 2 stoves, 2 dishwashers, 1 microwave) In a bad economy, we were fantastic customers. we paid in full, no issues, so they got plenty of money from us. After we paid, we had them research televisions for us, and started getting the run around, not returning calls, pushing us to buy substandard products, not listening to what we wanted but trying to sell us something else. Then came the nightmare, they came to deliver our appliances, they arrive, dump off the products in boxes and try to leave. We say we agreed upon installation when we purchased, they lie and say we did not. We absolutely did. They say someone else will come to install that day later, someone arrives, moves the appliances to different positions (in our dining room, not even in the kitchen) and leaves, still uninstalled. The next day is Saturday, and they are closed! Sunday closed! Monday, they come at the END of the day and try to tell us how "busy they are". (perhaps busy spending all the money we gave them). The" installation" is a disaster, saying the washers cannot be hooked up because a pipe is missing (true) and a stove cannot be hooked up because there is no gas, (false, I called the gas Co and they said that was ridiculous and false.) Then we discover that our gas dryer is actually electric, so they had sent the wrong appliance all together on that one, it is Tuesday and still the job is totally messed up and the renters are sitting around the place with appliances all over and most not working. BEWARE: these guys are great until you pay, then the service dissolves totally. They want your money, only, period. There is no follow through, no quality of service, no pride. Do NOT fall for their nice guy approach, it is OVER the second they cash the check! P.S. We found numerous places, including large stores like Home depot and Best Buy with better prices now that it's too late, beware their "wow, you got a great deal bargaining approach too.
Description of Work: Bought 11 appliances from them, both large and small, with installation (supposedly) and delivery.

They had a better price than a competitor's. They had the item in stock and ready for next day delivery! Installation was included in the price, and was done well. They went the extra mile during the installation, and didn't back down from the additional requirements my installation required. I was prepared for them to say "you'll have to hire somebody else to do this" but they got out a saw, cut a piece of wood, and made sure I had a working washer and dryer at the end of the day.
Description of Work: I purchased and they installed a frigidaire washer/dryer.
