AIR CARE - AM CONSTRUCTION

It was Friday before Memorial Day Weekend and my son was graduating from high school with family coming in to town and my water was cold!!!! I called Maty Avidan and he responded immediately, came out within two hours and fixed my water heater. I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and kindness. We were saved a very uncomfortable weekend with family and many events going on.

I've had AM Construction work on two separate projects at our house now, and I'm happy to give this business a review here. We have a 100-year-old Craftsman house, so we were very choosy in selecting a company to entrust with our home. From the very beginning, when they came to look over the house and draw up a bid, we were very impressed with them. They were very friendly and thorough, and the knowledge and experience they demonstrated gave us the confidence to know we didn't need any additional bids. With regard to bidding on a bathroom remodel, for example, they pointed out things that we had not thought of, and that no other contractor bidding on the job had mentioned. We hired AM Construction to retile our kitchen and half-bathroom, and redo our kitchen. Part of the floor was uneven (old house), so it was a tricky job for them -- but we ended up with a level floor. The tile guys were professional and respectful of our home, and they did a fantastic job. Because of the amount of cement they had to layer under the tile to level it out, the cement didn't fully dry, so some of the grout flaked and chipped out after they were done. AM Construction was very responsive about correcting the issue, and immediately sent out his tile guy a couple of different times until it was perfect. When we needed some electrical upgrades and repairs, I called AM Construction back out, they took care of it right away. Again, they were as professional and respectful, and did good work. We again had to have AM Construction come back (a three-way switch was wired incorrectly), but like before, AM Construction was super responsive and had were out here the very next day to fix the issue. Some of this kind of work can get tricky in an old house like ours, so what matters is not getting it 100% perfect the first time (though that's always preferable), but rather the response in making it right afterward if a follow-up visit is needed. In that respect, AM Construction provided the best possible customer service. The only downside with AM Construction is that their quality work makes them popular, so they might not be available right away for your project. But they're worth the wait! We'll be hiring them again when we get around to doing the bathroom remodel.

My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the work we received from AM Construction, we've seen firsthand the level of workmanship that went into work they performed, inside and out. Not only did they redo our kitchen from the ground up with the specs we requested, but they went beyond that to communicate with us in full along the way, that made us feel very comfortable during the process. With additional work we requested to be done, from the floors, windows, fixtures and appliances are of the highest quality, they put a lot of detail into energy-saving and environmentally-friendly elements including putting solar panels on the rooftop, using recycled building materials when available, and installing all energy efficient appliances. As homeowners, we are so grateful we chose the right company after hearing all of the horror stories out there about contractors.

I think I was pretty clear above, everything went superb! I was scared hiring a contractor, and was happy to find out that we made the right decision, for the sake of my old mother. Went well overall.
