AHEAD STEREO & HOME THEATER

Although in the end it's working pretty well, was a long path to get there with lots of owner prodding and complaining along the way to get it there. we still have quirks, but livable.

I have finally gotten around to writing my review of Ahead because I am listening to music, and I still get radio bleed. It is very frustrating! One would think that after spending $19,000 for a sound system that one would get a good quality sound. Ahead blames it on my Mac, that the bleed is coming from where their system attaches to my computer, but this has never been verified. The reasons they gave me for the bleed evolved and changed over time, and at one point Ahead stopped returning my calls and messages. I contacted the owner, and he was quite aggressive with me on the phone. He had an explanation for everything, and without looking at it, he basically said that all the quirks with the system are the fault of my existing equipment. Also, one of the keypads broke, and even though it was under warranty, the labor warranty expires after 3 months, so to repair the keypad (under warranty) will cost me about $350. If you are shopping for a sound system, I think you could do better elsewhere.
