A Clear Path is a professional organizing company. De-cluttering and organizing packages include: 2-hour consultation, 1/2-and- full-day projects, complete garage clearing and organizing. A team of professionals on-call for any job.
There were a couple of things that I was told they would do and those things didn't happen. I think that its intense work and people run out of energy so its not really reasonable to pay that amount of money when you know there is a drop in productivity in the second part of the day. I spent a lot of money and I'm not that much ahead of the game. Not that I wouldn't use them again, but not under the same contract or with the same expectations. The main thing is if anybody would ask me about this I would say do four hours one day and four hours the next day. IT's gonna take more time, but to do it all in an eight hour shift it no feasible.
Description of Work: They moved stuff out of my house and helped get organized. Not like house cleaning, moving things out and eliminating.

It went great. They have a professional approach to the work. One member of the team is the point person to keep the team moving on the most important things. She discussed my goals with me to start, and we made strategic decisions about where to spend our time. In a way, it's an intimate process and it is handled so professionally that I never felt uncomfortable. Best of all, I feel happier and more energetic and am now able to move forward on some remodeling I need to do.
Description of Work: Decluttered most of a 1,577 square foot 3 story townhouse plus the garage and hauled away trash. Two days of work with a team of 3.

Regina is amazing. She is that perfect blend of professionalism, clarity, and empathy for the emotional as well as physical aspects of decluttering. This is been an ongoing project, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Regina was very flexible and willing to let me break down the project into smaller blocks of time. When we hit a stopping point, Regina made sure that everything was swept and tidied so that even though the project wasn't finished, I had a sense of accomplishment and progress. Having things more organized has made my life so much easier. Since I do tend to accumulate things, I will definitely work with Regina in the future to keep me on track. By the way, her book and web site are wonderful and provide lots of good information and support. Although I used her services for my home space, I am sure she would be as effective in a business or work environment.
Description of Work: Regina helped me sort through tons of papers, clothes, etc. and find a place for the things I kept. Regina kept me focused and on point but with humor and a supportive attitude.

Regina and her team are the best! I originally used them to help me dig my way out of an extremely cluttered and dirty household mess. They helped me sort and organized literally everything. They take care of donations, trash haul away, etc. This is a totally full service organizing team -- all I had to do was make the decisions, they did all the work. This was exactly what I needed and wanted. They then packed up the remaining items for a move to a new home, booked the mover, and set up the new home and a storage unit for me. They helped me get rid of about 50% of my belongings and organize the rest. When I recently had to move across the country, I didn't hesitate to call them to help pack up everything for the move. In addition to having a great work ethic and a high level of professional knowledge, there's an added bonus: They are extremely nice people and a lot of fun to work with. They turned a stressful (and yes, embarrassing) process into a positive experience. I've used other organizers and A Clear Path is absolutely the best there is. I tried hard to get them to relocate to my new state with me, but for some reason, they didn't buy into that idea -- LOL!
Description of Work: Packed household and storage unit for long-distance move. I had previously used Regina and her team for a complete organization and enormous clutter-busting job as well as packing and unpacking for a local move.

It was fantastic! Regina made it so easy deciding what to keep and what to toss. I needed someone to help me think through how to decide and she had great tips and encouragement. She did all the heaving lifting, moving boxes and making piles of discarded and kept items. She was fast and efficient. And she remembered every last detail when we would skip over certain things as we were cleaning. She was friendly, warm and a joy to work with. I would definitely use her services again...maybe for my kitchen or some final tweaking that we didn't get to.

First of all, don't be alarmed by this $ figure! I tried to put 2012-2013 in the "service date" section, but it wouldn't let me. This is an estimate of what I spent over a long period of time with multiple sessions. I had a fantastic experience with Regina. I recommend her without reservation. My issue was clutter and some general disorganization. My ADD manifests itself in a very unhelpful way: I start projects with enthusiasm and great ambition, but then get distracted, so the task doesn't always get completed. Even with the internet, so much paper (which becomes paperwork) seems to land in the mailbox every day, it can be hard to keep up. My daughter gave me a session with Regina for my birthday. Best birthday present ever! (Ok, maybe the bike I got on my 6th birthday was a little more exciting). Regina called a few days before the session to talk through what my goals were and to get a little background on me and my family. So I felt much more relaxed when we met. She doesn't criticize or judge, which was a relief to me. Once she has an overview of the your needs, she'll suggest a game plan. If you're not comfortable thinking big picture right away, you'll tackle a specific area and go on from there. You both dig in. She's extremely hands-on -- she's strong and she's fearless! Nothing seems to phase her. Whatever situation you might have,believe me, she's seen far worse. I (and my family) saw improvements quickly. A really important aspect of working with Regina is that she takes the trouble to learn how you think. Then you and she together develop specific, practical strategies that help make your space reflect what is really important in your life. Every time Regina came she was punctual, upbeat, completely focused, sensitive and worked super super quickly. I don't even recall her taking/making a phone call. Working with Regina was a highly positive experience. She ie extremely professional and productive and as I said, my money was very well spent. When we decided to move across town to Santa Monica, Regina was really helpful. We cleared out the garage together, as well as pruning extensively in other areas of the house. She also worked with my 3 kids (girls 20 and 17 and my 13-year-old son) as well, going through their rooms. I was nervous about this, but she is brilliant with kids, she's funny and really gets them involved with the program. Regina also came the day of our move and thank goodness, We had some trouble with our movers and at my request, Regina firmly but very diplomatically stepped in to sort things out. She set up our kitchen (with my otherwiseslothful teenage daughter) while the move was going on, so that night we could feel that at least one room made sense. I'm sure it sounds weird, but despite all my initial trepidations, I have really enjoyed organizing my house with Regina. i had a challenging task, but Regina is so supportive (and simply good company) that it was so so much easier than tackling the job by myself -- frankly, it just wouldn't have happened. As it was, she really kept my interests in mind all the time. This (and our steady progress) kept me from getting discouraged and meant I had a great result.
