It went great! All of the workers were very helpful and polite. They brought boxes and were very careful when they packed. The move went smoothly!

Moved furnishings and contents and art work out, stored during construction and moved back in. The crew was very professional, courteous, and helpful. All furniture was carefully wrapped and they were very careful on the move back in with newly refinished floors. Tim the owner came out in advance for an estimate and to discuss options for packing help. Highly recommend.

They are amazing. I used them 7 years go when I moved into another house. They did two separate moves for us. They did one move and held stuff in a warehouse and they did one move and brought other stuff. They did a lot for us. They are really really good. We got money back for the boxes because they have a recycling program for the boxes. They packed everything and labeled them. I think there was one plastic Tupperware tub that was cracked, but all the important stuff made it. I had to change the date a lot and they were extremely accommodating. They were great.

The movers arrived on time and were very efficient in their work. They were careful, attentive, and flexible in allowing me to work in my office for most of the move day before taking the desk away. They packed everything extremely well, were very self-sufficient in pack and load, and did a wonderful job moving our gear from house to house. They also provided ~15 garment boxes for us to move our clothes from closet to box and back when we moved, saving us a bunch of money on garment boxes and time on pack/unpack for clothes. Crew chief Carlos was very communicative and the 3-person team did the job in just over 8 hours. Will definitely use again if moving; it's hard to find good movers, and A Better move did a great job.

The experience was GREAT. The team of Jaime, Jose and Luis was great. They were prompt, professional, fast and friendly. They arrived at exactly 8:00 am. They wrapped EVERY piece of furniture, including my dinning room chairs and exercise equipment. When they arrived at the new location, again they worked fast unloading everything. They asked and placed each item where i desired. One item they even moved a second time at my request. I would definitely use/recommend this company.

The two guys (Javier & Luis) were absolutely pleasant to work with. They were very friendly and more importantly, I didn't feel like they were trying to stretch the time out for more pay. We had to make a pre-planned stop to pick up an appliance on the way and that was done very quickly. They were willing to place each box in the necessary rooms, even into the garage.

I liked it. I think I found them on Angie's List. Pricing was one of the reasons I chose them. They were very good; I was quite pleased. The prices were much better; I talked to three groups. They just moved up from one location to another and it was a two day trip. They did not tear up anything and were very easy to work with.

The team was great to work with. Took good care of my belongings while moving. They also worked well around other vendors that were at the new house. Would definitely recommend them.

Brian and Jose were great. Did exactly what needed to get done and were very helpful, and are very nice guys. Would definitely recommend.

Very easy move, except we have not been able to unpack due to delay in construction at the new house so hard to know if everything made the trip in one piece yet. I will say they were very careful moving a delicate mirror. Nice that they don't charge for tape or wardrobe boxes as long as you unpack them during the move. Competitive rates, good communication and showed up on time. Helpful tip: I would recommend having them come over prior to the move to access how much stuff you are moving. We did not do that, and if we hadn't moved a substantial amount of our belongings ourselves before, there was no way it would have all fit in the truck.

I had several conversations with the office staff and they were extremely courteous and helpful. I needed to schedule our move for the day after Thanksgiving and wasn't sure anyone would work that day. The men arrived on time and got to work. They worked well as a team and were respectful of our property. The price was reasonable even without the Angie's List coupon. I would hire them again.

This is the second time we've used ABWTM since we arrived in Los Angeles, and yet again it was a totally painless procedure. The guys are very well prepared, well presented, and use plenty of initiative in getting the move done. They understand that it can be an awkward time, and work very quickly around curve balls thrown their way. Tim, the estimator, was very thorough, and gave a clear and accurate estimate and at no point did any extra charges or hidden extras emerge - which is very nice in this day and age. We highly recommend them, and would use them again immediately if it weren't for the fact that we have no intention of moving for a long time now!

Very courteous employees. They were pleasant and did he job quickly and well. They even rearranged the bedroom 3 times. I would definitely use them again.

I required an item of furniture to be moved within the home - the provider advised me they were not able to move just one item of furniture within the home - they only do whole house moves to another destination. May be able to use in the future when I need a complete move.

Went easier than expected. They took great care in packing my fragile items and expertly moved the items and fitted them neatly into my storage unit.

A Better Way to Move moved all of my household goods in September on one of the hottest days in recent memory (106 and humid). I have a lot of sutff (other companies said they would not be able to complete the move in one day). A Better Way to Move did the move in one day (albeit a long day -- 14 hours and two full moving trucks). The moving crew was very professional. Each of the movers was pleasant and had a great attitude. They worked together as a team and were careful with everything. They plastic wrapped the furniture, and there was no major damage to anything. They also were incredibly honest. Unlike other companies, they told me that California law requires a moving company to give a "not to exceed" estimate if they give you an estimate after an in-home visit. They also called me the day after the move to tell me that they had overcharged me (mistakenly charged for a crew of 6 when there was only a crew of 5) and sent me a refund check. I highly recommend them.

We got three estimates from Angie's list to both pack and deliver. First contact with the company over the phone was excellent - comfortable, explained things, and worked hard to get an estimate when we needed it. The estimator came at 8 am the friday we wanted estimates from the three firms. Because we wanted to move some stuff ourselves, it was a little complicated. Tim was professional and clear in the questions he asked about what we'd need and he seemed, in retrospect, to ask more specific questions. The estimate came in clear and was $2,000 below the high estimate and $1,000 lower than the middle estimate. They made the choice of who to use easy. We also checked out ratings, etc. before choosing. Javier and Simon were great - professional, nice, genuine, etc. - and they packed things with care and were very specific about what was in each box. They even took a load over to the new house (only 2.5 miles away) because they knew we had a lot of plants and they were concerned there be enough room around the plants with what was planned for the move the next day. They were great! (again) The next day a group of 5 came right on schedule at 8 am. The five were Jaime, Jose, Fernando, Bryan and Javier again, and again they were great - again very professional, nice, genuine, etc. The put things where we needed them. Everything went great. Hopefully, our tip said how much we appreciated their work and their spirit.

I moved from a 3 bedroom home with no stairs to a 4 bedroom home with stairs. It was a local move - about 1.5 miles. I had mostly packed everything myself so I just needed the team to do the heavy lifting. The team was a little late arriving at our move-out home - about 45 minutes late. Moving is already stressful so having the movers arrive late added to the stress a little bit. But once they arrived, I was put at ease. We had 3 very friendly, very communicative men working with us. They talked to us about any challenges they were having (one of our beds was tough to get out of the house, etc) and really worked with us as a team all day. We had to load the van twice - so the first load took all morning, and then they unloaded at our move-in house before they took a break for lunch. It was about 2pm at that point! I couldn't believe they'd worked so hard for so long without a break. They returned promptly and started the 2nd load. They had positioned many of our boxes in one room, so once the major furniture had been moved in, I stood in the room and just pointed to boxes and had them running the boxes to the appropriate room. All done with a smile. They were a pleasure to work with. Extremely professional and courteous.

The three man crew arrived on time and were very professional. They moved efficiently and quickly, but with care. Our furniture was wrapped in blankets and stretch wrap. They made sure that nothing was missed or damaged. I would highly recommend this company. The pricing is fair and very clear.

Absolutely the best. Prepared, courteous, organized, patient, capable. So grateful the other movers we hired left us hanging.
