+ -1 moreIt was the day after Thanksgiving when I called Dan. Appointment was setup immediately. Dan was very prompt and it didn't take him any effort to replace all the locks (7 total) in less than an hour. He also lubricated all the locks so they worked perfectly, except for one that he explained why it was hard to work on. Completely hassle-free. Pricing was better than I expected. I worked for Google and I saw him on our Googler's recommendation list. Apparently many Googlers used him and none of them have any complaints. I'd recommend him to everyone I know.
Description of Work: Rekey all 4 doors (4 deadbolts + 3 handles, all schlage) to use the same key.

+ -1 moreTHE EXPERIENCE WAS UNPLEASANT. WHILE THE LOCKSMITH KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING--THE ANDERSEN REPRESENTATIVE LATER CONFIRMED HIS FINDING OF WHAT WAS BROKEN--I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE ASKED WHAT KIND OF LOCK WE HAD AND WARNED US ABOUT HIS INABILITY TO SERVICE ANDERSEN LOCKS BEFORE COMING TO OUR HOUSE. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT HE OVERCHARGED US SINCE HIS INVOICE CONTAINED NOT ONLY A $35 SERVICE CALL FEE, BUT ALSO A $30 LABOR CHARGE. IN THE INTEREST OF GOOD CUSTOMER RELATIONS, HE SHOULD HAVE CHARGED ONLY THE $35 SERVICE CALL FEE.
Description of Work: WE CALLED TRI-CITY TO FIX A BROKEN EXTERIOR LOCK ON AN ANDERSEN SLIDING PATIO DOOR. WHEN THE LOCKSMITH ARRIVED, HE IMMEDIATELY TOLD US THAT HE USUALLY IS UNABLE TO FIX ANDERSEN LOCKS BECAUSE HE CAN'T OBTAIN THE VERY SPECIFIC PARTS REQUIRED. HE UNSCREWED THE LOCK AND CONFIRMED THAT HE COULDN'T FIX IT. HE WAS AT OUR HOUSE FOR NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES.
