Jackie the manager was pleasant to deal with over the phone. She promptly dispatched Shawn Cooley, one of the firm's 10 inspectors. The MLS listing for our property was wrong and listed the foundation as slab and Shawn arrived without the equipment to inspect our crawl space. He took this in stride and went back to retrieve the right equipment. I was grateful that we didn't need to reschedule. My husband followed him throughout the entire inspection (except down in the crawl space) and peppered him with lots of questions. Shawn was very forthcoming and patient, considering we are nervous, first-time buyers with lots of concerns. We received our inspection report promptly that weekend (Shawn inspected the house Friday afternoon). It was easy to read and included photos. REIG was more expensive than many of the other inspectors I phoned (by about $50), but I felt I got good value for the money. I chose them based on their familiarity with Eichler-style mid-century modern houses.
Description of Work: We hired REIG to do a full house inspection of our property once our offer was accepted.
