It was very easy to make an appointment with John, and he showed up on time. We walked through our house, and he talked about some of the ideas he had. We then talked for about an hour about what he would do with the layout and what changes he would make. He also asked me some very specific questions from a questionnaire (about materials, finishes, windows, etc.) so that he could start to get an idea of how much the job would cost. Within a week's time, he had sent me an estimate for the job and the scope of the work that would be performed. I had a couple questions that I emailed to him. He got back to me after about a week, which I felt was a very slow turn-around. Overall, I felt like this company was not a good fit for our job. He had very specific ideas about what he would do with our house, and I wanted someone we could work with, who would listen to our ideas and work with us in the design process. I also needed someone who could be very responsive on email.

We have a contract with him. We happened to know him through rotary. He is excellent. His name is John Hammerschmidt. We recommend him highly. He is honest. He listens to our ideas and gives ideas if asked. He doesn't force himself. Some contractors force themselves upon the contractee, but he doesn't. He figures real smart enough to know what we want but if we ask for help, we get it. He has been remarkable, can't say as much for this city, but he has been remarkable. So far, his sub contractors have been excellent.

Their prices are pretty reasonable and I am satisfied with their service. I will use them again in the future.

They gave quality workmanship. They were very professional and pleasant people to deal with.

They gave us the bid up-front, and it was right on the money. They were fabulous. They did a wonderful job, and I'm very impressed with them. We are having them come back out, and do our next remodeling job. It will cost 50,000. The kitchen was 5,000.
