Overall... a big disappointment. After claiming there was a "misunderstanding" about amounts due, they abandoned the job leaving large piles of debris. They stated that they would return but never did.

In pool yard, first tried to use old sprinklers after my request of new. I wanted drip, they installed sprinklers in a lot of areas I didn't want. They came back and fixed those. Then I had an underground leak in back pool yard. Took numerous calls to get a return. Would give me an appointment and not show up, and no phone call. The drain cover in the pool yard is set too deep so it fills up with mud. The slope in the back goes up. We had another sprinkler system up there, but it did not cover the hill. He told us he would fix it. We asked if we would need a new valve, and he said no, he thought it would work without one. They installed a line to the top of the hill, and added rainbirds. 6 in all. Unfortunately, there is not enough pressure. So 3 out of 6 are usually stuck in place. They came out once, and his employee's stated that it might work better if they removed one rainbird. They called owner and he said it would cost an additional $100. to install a new valve. At first I told him that he told me he would make it work. He argued it was not his fault I have low water pressure. So then I said OK, I'll pay the $100. After that, he will not return my calls. Thought if I got my husband involved, he might respond better to a man, still no response. The last conversation we had I told him I would report him to the BBB and I'd seen one complaint already. In shock he stated, you mean you will make a complaint on my license? Then I got curious and looked at his license, and he has had a board citation due to lapse of license. It was current while doing my work. He also did not install siphoning valves to the valve systems which is against code due to it letting bad water flush back into our drinking water. Due to this alone, I am filing a report w/ CA Contractors Board. Also after telling me many times, at least 5, he made an appointment to come back and didn't show. Not even a phone call to let me know. One of my biggest complaints. Oh, I still have a few sprinklers shooting straight in the air.
