It went well! Was originally quoted for less than the job ended up costing but there was an unforseen electrical line issue so it wasn't a big deal.

Half of my garage had no power, I knew it was a GFI issue but couldn’t find it. Christian found it after a short while, and replaced a couple of other GFIs that were broken.

I had kitchen plugs that quit working, and with my limited knowledge, I could see that a breaker didn't go all the way 'on' after attempting to reset it. Within 15 minutes of requesting a bid on Angi, I had a phone call and as Jordan wasn't far away on another job, he came by soon after and did the work - and even helped me with a garage light I thought was dead but he simply needed to replace the dud 'new' bulb I had put in. All of this was within an hour and a half of putting in my bid request! Electrical repair isn't cheap, but the quote was fair and was exactly what I paid. Jordan was so pleasant and helpful, as was the person who originally called me and set everything up. Swihart Electric is the best, and I will call them again if I need electrical work. I would highly recommend them.

Chris from Swihart was awesome....we hired another electrician from NextDoor that claimed to be certified, after 2 hours of rewiring it still didnt work and he gave up and told us there was short in the pump. Chris from Swihart came over 2 days later and found the short in the switch in the first 5 minutes and then spent an hour cleaning up the mess the first electrician caused. I would 100% recommend Swihart, great service at a fair price!

Electrician arrived on time and performed services efficiently and all fixtures worked after completion of work. Work was accomplished on a time basis rather than per fixture. Major issue with Angie's List on this work: I have used Swihart before this company was not listed on the list of electricians provided even though the company is located closer to my residence than any of the other companies listed. Swihart pays a considerable amount of $ to be on Angies List and the owner was mystified why he was not listed. The company does excellent work and as a small local company, it is one that I wish to support when possible.

The service was excellent and the work was top quality. Chris and his crew were polite and professional. They kept the work areas neat and cleaned up each room after they finished. Chris kept us updated on progress during the work and made sure that we understood everything. A+++. We will definitely have them return to help us with some other projects soon.

He returned my initial telephone call and set up appointment to come out to look at carport on date/time that convenient for me. Showed up on time. Very pleasant person to deal with. He was very knowledgeable about electrical codes, methods to connect to existing lines, and had helpful suggestions. Provided me with an estimate of costs that I thought was very fair. On day he was scheduled to start work he showed up on time and ready to start. The job took him a couple days of to finish. He worked steadily and wasted no time. He made sure he understood what we wanted and did the work exactly as requested. At one point we changed our minds about the placement of some conduit and asked him to change location. Even though he had already installed conduit as we had requested, he went ahead and disassembled it and moved it. He was very good about it and did not complain about the extra work involved. He made some excellent recommendations as to placement of flood lights and the types of fixtures best suited to our situation. He made sure that interior lights were placed for maximum effect. He tested everything to make sure it worked and asked if we were satisfied before moving on to the next task. The work was completed on time and slightly below estimated cost. He cleaned up worksite after he completed job. I asked him for an estimate on additional work regarding rewiring house telephone lines and will be calling him to do that work in the near future. Overall, he was a great find and I highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you, Angie's List for providing the recommendation.

I wasn't really pleased with it, I didn't think it was much of a value. I got up sold when the guy got there, charged me close to $300 to change a couple of lights. So it was a total rip off. I paid $300 more than the $399 I was already paying. Well he up sold me on different lights and I kind of went along with that, he had some LED for an extra 90 bucks so he up sold me that but that was my decision but then the big surprise was, well as long as you're here I got a couple of light switches i need to replace and he charged me $260 to replace something that took like 15 minutes to install and of course I kind of blame myself because I didn't ask him specifically okay how much more to install these two switches so that's lesson learned. The pricing was poor. The quality is so far so good even though he installed one of the switches upside down. They came out when they said they were. He did what I told him to do he just charged me for it. They did show up on time. I would never use them again in the future.
