It was done perfectly and they did a great job. They took away the old appliance and worked with my mom's schedule. They were on time. It was a good experience. They are all very nice...I was a little nervous about having them come because I wasn't there and only my mom who has a little dementia was there but everything worked out fine. They were very accommodating.

After investigating many appliance shops online outlets and warehouse stores, I found the GE Profile microwave oven I wanted at Nelthorpe and Son in Loomis, CA. I returned after New Years and asked if they were having any post-Christmas sales. They weren't but since I was buying a floor model they gave me significant discounts on the price, installation and 5 year extended warranty. One young man, Chris showed up as acheduled and promptly removed the old unit. This is usually a two man job but Chris just picked the unit up and walked out with it. I watched the installation and was pleased that Chris was taking care not to harm the cabinets or counters and he seemed to be making a strong and professional job at the mounting. Again, single handedly, Chris picked up the new unit and hung it on the wall. A little juggling with the exhaust vent and everything was soon mounted and secured. Chris carefully cleaned up the work area and the polished the microwave and tested each of its features. After making sure that I understood how to work it, he left after only a few hours. All-in-all I am most pleased at the results of this professional installation and the good looking unit.

My refrigerator died right before the weekend, so I was desperate to find a replacement as soon as possible. I did some research on line, and drove down to Nelthorpe's. I showed the salesman the online price from [big box store] and he beat it by $30, then arranged for delivery of a free loaner until the new one came in. Delivery and setup were prompt, thorough, and courteous. Don't go to the big boxes unless you check Nelthorpe's first!
