Doug and his team were very professional and fulfilled our project needs in two days. Doug delivered a quality wall and RV access that will last and add value and to our property. I would recommend Abramsbuilt for all of your retaining wall needs & landscaping needs.

Job took 5.5 days with 1 to 3 men working each day. Tight access to back yard, restricted work space, haul away of excess dirt, higher grade Basalite pavers, and significant stone cuts in the design contributed to our cost. Work sites, front and back, were thoroughly cleaned at finish of job.

Doug Abrams was the first to reply and the first to provide an estimate. He discussed the project with me at length to make sure he would provide what was needed and wanted for the project. His suggestions were much appreciated on how to finish the job. The Abrams Built quote was the lowest price, by far, but the main reason I chose them was that the company took the job seriously and appears to know its business very well. They were very professional from the beginning to the end. The work was scheduled to take two days but through some very hard work they finished it in one. The result is exactly what I was wanting and I am very happy with the results.

I obtained 3 quotes for the wall replacement (plus one contractor who came out but never provided a bid). Doug spent almost an hour with me during the intial visit to really understand what I wanted. He provided different options for me and sent me the bid within a couple of days. His bid was by far the lowest bid (and I dont normally take the lowest bid on anything) but when i matched the line items with each of the other businesses, I could tell they were oversh

I got four bids for this job. All bidders were very nice but Doug was by far the most knowledgeable for the wall that I wanted. He got back to me with a bid faster than the others even though he was the last bidder. My wife and I decided that we wanted Doug to get the bid and hoped his estimate would be reasonable. It was. Doug was able to lower material costs by changing the elevation of the footing in areas where we could not see the base (behind a pool wall, under a deck). He obviously knew what he was doing. He also gave great advice on color choice. His crew was very professional and friendly. They all wore matching logo shirts which was a nice touch. First day was excavation and footings. Doug came back at 7am the next day, just to make sure materials were delivered and placed where I wanted them. Next day was building and completing the wall. They were fast but did not compromise on quality. Doug said his walls were always level and square. The results were as close to perfect as you could get. I couldn't find any flaws at all. It was obvious the whole crew took pride in their work and they were meticulous about cleanup afterwards. They also showed up earlier than promised each work day. This work was probably the best combination of price and job quality that I have had done at my home -- excellent job. Would not hesitate to recommend Abrams Built to anyone.
