YARD DOCTOR's Expert Yard Detailing

I had ivy growing on 2 walls in my backyard. It had grown unchecked from one neighbor's yard for over 3 years. The vines were up to 2 inches thick in many places. I left a message for Yard Doctor late morning on the day before the work was done and my call was returned within 2 hours. Within 20 minutes after that call Yard Doctor was at my door to give an estimate. David looked over the walls into both neighbors' yards and made a thorough assessment of the job. We agreed on the price and time that he would arrive the next day. Yard Doctor arrived at 8:00A with 3 additional workers. The job took approximately 4 hours to complete. In that 4 hours the ivy was totally removed from the walls and tops of the walls. The crew removed the tree that had begun growing in my backyard from another neighbor's tree. The clean-up in my yard and the adjoining neighbors' yards was immaculate. We were exceptionally pleased with the quality and thoroughness of the work.

As usual, everything went very well.

The work was good. They prompt, professional, and courteous. I feel the price was slightly high, however. I would consider using them again in the future.

They were quite good. I was happy with them. I felt that they were a good value, and they did exactly what they said they would do.

It went well. They were hard workers, quiet, nice, I enjoyed talking to all of them. They cleaned up everything. David came over and gave me a quote and a week later I called him to schedule the work. They were an hour late but that really was not a problem at all. 9am on a Sat morning gave me time to fully wake up. he and his crew of two, three total. They also brought a chipper with truck to haul away the plant debris. Note: Someone put his service in here and added the term Landscape. They do NOT do any landscaping services! They are a yard clean up and Tree planting, pruning, and removal service. They only remove plant debris. They removed Bermuda grass from my front and back yard that was growing amongst plants and trees I wanted to keep.

I was told they were busy and couldn't get to me til later, but would try to fit me in if they had an opening since it wasn't a big job. He got the job completed sooner than I was expecting. His crew completed the job and cleaned up afterward.

They're really excellent! They were very easy to connect with in order to schedule a date for the project. They did a thorough job. Everything was cleaned up when the were finished, which I appreciated. We'll definitely be using them again if need be.

The price was extremely reasonable. They always do very good work and do exactly what you ask.

They brought it in for their estimate cost, even though we had some new requirements that we had not asked for before the estimate was done! The work was spectacular and they took such care around our new pond so that branches did not fall in. I asked them to spare my kids' vegetable garden plots, even though they were right in the workers' way. They did all that and more. They pruned some little trees beautifully that we hadn't even asked them to. We asked them to scale the side yard useless trees and bushes as far back as they could for our price, and they REMOVED them completely. I would never hesitate to hire these guys. I read the reviews on here and figured some were overdone or exaggerated. Nope. They aren't. These guys are that good.

Excellent work performed by a four-man team who arrived promptly and got right to work. They not only gave careful attention to the trees, but also to clean up in our patio / yard and neighboring patios (which the trees overhang). I especially appreciated that David asked us to tell him exactly how we wanted the trees to be trimmed . . . and listened and did just what we requested, including going back and taking a little more off of one after I'd had a chance to look at it.

Dave was very responsive and communticated well. On time to give me an estimate. He is very booked and couldn't complete the service until November, so we went with another service. Very professional.

We initially called David's company for removal of a jade plant (which had grown into a large tree and harbored a beehive under the roots). After David and his crew neatly and thoroughly did that job, we asked him to give us a quote for pruning our completely overgrown backyard where a lemon tree had grown into a hibiscus, which had grown into honeysuckle. Also to remove ivy that had taken over the yard. Basically, 15+ years of growth that had never been pruned. It was a jungle back there. David's team worked all day to prune and shape trees into shape. For the first time, we could see the trunks of the hibiscus and lemon tree and the ivy that had covered 1/3 of the backyard was gone! David and his team removed all that growth, and left the yard very neat. He and his team were very professional and courteous. You can tell they have experience and know how to work with trees and shrubs; there's no whacking of limbs and branches. Now that the trees and shrubs were well pruned, they are growing back with better shape and form.

Dave came on a weekend to give me an estimate. We made an appointment for his next available day, which was in 9 days. He came promptly on time, prepared to do the entire job. Dave and his crew removed a diseased liquidamber tree in the front yard. They dug up the large surface roots, ground out the stump and left the yard very clean. They also trimmed a bougainvilla vine off the telephone wires in the back and trimmed an overgrown Hollywood juniper tree that was covering part of the garage roof. Dave cleaned the dead needles from the juniper and raked them up. His crew took away all the cuttings and raked the yard clean. They offered to leave wood from the liquidamber tree if I wanted it and they stacked it in the back yard where I designated. The work took the crew of 3 the entire day.

Needed tree trimming. The estimator came out and met with us on a Sunday, which was very helpful for our schedule. He was prompt and efficient with his estimate. He was very opinionated, which can be good or bad, depending on your own personal style and needs. We appreciated his forthrightness. We did not end up going with his company but will keep it on file for the future.

I called Friday, and David came out Saturday and gave me an estimate. Had trouble reaching for a day or so, but when I did get a call back we scheduled the work for Wednesday. They did a beautiful job, especially on the ficus tree, and their cleanup was so good you would almost not know they had ever been there. Very pleased with the work. Our "mow and blow" guy has taken care of the trees in the past and I've been unhappy with his fairly amateur work, he charged more, too. This crew is clearly professional and their work is far better quality than I was getting before.

It was great. They were very personable and very prompt, coming out within a day. The pricing was also reasonable and the work was done very well. They cleaned up and I am planning on using them again.

Excellent job! Prompt, courteous and very efficient. Job was finished in under an hour and the yard was cleaner than when they started.

Our experience with Yard Doctors from the first phone call through the final clean up was exceptional. David arrived after half an hour of my phone call for an estimate. Although my proposed pruning of the hedges was massive and labor intensive, his attitude was positive and optimistic. On the scheduled day the crew arrived exactly on time and proceeded rapidly and efficiently with their work. The crew was very helpful in speaking directly with me about incidental matters instead of relying completely on the crew chief. This effectively saved me time and made for more satisfactory results. In spite of the time and intensity of the job, their clean up was better than other tree services we have used. They had been the best service we have ever had.

I found the company to be reliable, well priced, as well as neat in their job performance.

David promptly returned my call, and within a few days came to our house to give us a bid on the work. David and his crew did a beautiful job on the trimming, and the clean-up was immaculate. We had one tree transplanted, and they were very careful not to disturb the surrounding plants.

Dave and his crew were professional, thorough, and did a great job with good clean up and quick follow-through on something minor that had been overlooked. Initially I thought the price was a little high, compared with what I had gotten from some other tree service in the past. But this turned out to be a full two day job and the results were definitely better than, I had gotten in the past from others. Everything was badly overgrown and now it looks great. I'd definitely use him again.

If you want quality service by highly skilled professionals this is the company for you. I was so impressed with the work done by this company I actually gave them more than they asked for. I plan on using this company for a long time. Next week I'm having an estimate done for my parent's home. Professional and dependable is the only way I can describe David and his Yard Doctor's Tree Service!
