Peterka Tile

After meeting with several contractors I was lucky enough to meet George, he was a Godsend! He is professional in every way, but his real asset is that he cared as much about my project as I do. George made time for my questions and gave thoughtful responses and suggestions. My initial confidence was so great that I asked him to supervise the entire project which he did to perfection. His team is equally skilled and just as nice to work with . George took his time with the things that were most important to me and created a bathroom with the attention to detail that makes you proud to show it off. Thanks to all the guys who helped create my beautiful bathroom; George, Rudulfo , Cory, Hector and Tony. Thank you! George is very professional but also really easy going. He is straight forward and honest, which we appreciated very much. He worked quickly and efficiently while maintaining an eye for detail. He kept us informed and asked questions to be sure we were happy with the progress and results. We love our new floor! George and his team did an excellent job and were wonderful to work with. George came to look at what we needed and work up an estimate. He was professional, knowledgeable and a problem-solver (in a way that our contractor was obviously not). We liked George so much at our first meeting that we also got an estimate to refinish the brick fireplace and bench in our living room. (A job we were planning on doing at some future point). George and his assistant Rodolfo finished the work today and it is truly fabulous. Our contractor had ruined our master bath tile after 2 attempts to do the job correctly. We had to have Peterka Tile remove the old tile, re-cement the floor, and reinstall the tile. The difference in workmanship between the work done by George and Rodolfo and the previous work is astounding. The work in the guest bathroom was not as extensive as the master but shower floor and drain look awesome! No one would be able to tell that any corrective work has been done. Finally, the masterpiece! The brick fireplace and bench that George updated with stone look incredible. This was a very labor-extensive job because of the stone we chose and the fact that the fireplace is big and the house is old. The floor and walls around the fireplace are not terribly even. The new fireplace and bench look flawless. We've already had neighbors come by to ooh and ahh over the difference the new stone makes and the fabulous workmanship. Please do not hesitate to hire Peterka Tile. George and Rodolfo are everything you want when hiring someone to work in your home. They are hard-working, conscientious, trustworthy, professional and nice. They also do an awesome job not making a mess when they're working (and that can't be easy when you're working with tile). They are also great about cleaning up their work space when they're done each day. It was super easy to have them here working. My wife and I needed "real title guy" to take on our kitchen back splash project. There was a large amount of 'cutting in' around our cabinets which required a true artisan to make it work! We met and were immediately impressed by George Peterka. He was timely, professional and it was obvious he knew his trade! His estimate was very reasonable, so the choice to move forward with him was an easy one! The finished result was over & above our expectations; the cutting in was of the highest caliber and I have included a photo to prove it; a true artisan in every sense of the word! Simply put, we could not be happier and it goes without saying that we would highly recommend Peterka Tile to anyone seeking a 'real tile guy' to entrust their tile project to!

Very well. George maintained the symmetry of the saltillo tile surround despite the dimensions of the porch being a bit off. The medallion is well centered with a nice tight fit. George lived up to his good reviews and exceeded my expectations. I might have been able to get a slightly lower price from another provider but I don't think I could get any better quality or better service.

The tile is really beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better job. The tile spacing was worked out to include a window and it looks great.

George and Rudolfo did a great job. They showed up when they were supposed to and did great work. We are very impressed with the final result and have already told them that we want them to do the kitchen backsplash next. I highly recommend George and his guys for any tile work!

They did a fantastic job. They are true craftsmen. The brick wall looks amazing and the backsplash looks great. They arrived on time every day, and were very professional. The job took the exact amount of time they had told me. I am so pleased with the results and would definitely hire them again.

I hired Peterka Tile to convert a tub/shower into a walk-in shower. The work that George and his crew performed was excellent. George worked closely with me every step of the way to ensure that my design ideas were turned into reality. They handled every detail well including demolition, protecting surrounding areas, acquiring supplies, framing, plumbing, final details, and clean up. George communicated well and confirmed and reconfirmed every detail before he executed them. Pricing was on the higher end of the quote scale, but it was inline with a quality job. I would hire Peterka Tile again.

He was awesome and very meticulous with his work. He didn't rush and took his time. You can tell that he loves his craft and is a perfectionist.

He did a wonderful job. He and his crew showed up every morning on time and were very professional. They took extra care to lay down covering and protect the house while they were working. The fireplace came out amazing. We had him install stacked stone over the old brick and redo the hearth with a more modern tile. He did a wonderful job. The bathroom also came out great. He completely rebuilt the shower from the ground up and made sure every detail was perfect. There was only one issue with the vanity install and as soon as he heard about the problem he came over immediately to make it right. I would certainly recommend him to anyone else and will hire him again if I need any future work done.

Excellent. George arrived as scheduled to assess the job. He maintained communication through out the process. He offered an agreeable start date and estimate for the work and let me know, who from his team would be assigned to do the job. George provided details about the time line to start and complete the job. Jonathan and a colleague arrived on the day scheduled and everything went as planned. Their work was impeccably done and they were courteous and respectful of my home. I would hire them again and recommend them to friends.

George does fantastic work. He won't leave the job until everything is perfect. I'm picky about this stuff and he is even pickier. He tends to underestimate the time it is Will take to finish a job but I can live with that if it is done right in the end

In our main bathroom George installed a detailed mosaic marble accent wall that turned out perfect. He also built a pony wall, completed a shower wall tile with custom shampoo boxes and a tile floor. He also installed a large ceramic den floor and worked with me to perfect the grout color. His work was perfect. He was on time, communicated well, cleaned up during and after each installation day. His prices were great and he was done with the job on time. He was reliable and considerate.

George was referred to me by a co-worker who had great experience. I contacted George and he quickly responded and came out to view the work and provide an estimate. I received an email estimate/scope of work within a few days and he was able to schedule my job within my preferred timeline. George and his crew arrived on time and got right to work. He explained everything that needed to be done and brought me in to discuss some potential issues with the existing floor. As it turned out, there were no problems and the job proceeded. Peterka Tile removed my existing bathroom tile floor with great care. I was concerned about any possible damage to the tub and surrounding tile that extended to the floor. There wasn't even the smallest scratch - perfect. I was having new vanity installed which was in the garage. George took the appropriate measurements and laid the tile so accurately that there isn't even the slightest gap between the vanity and the tile. George helped me with the design of some glass tile I wanted inlaid into the floor. I think the result is beautiful as do all of my family and friends. As I had marble tile installed, George explained the maintenance that would be required - very much appreciated. George indicated the work would be done in three days and it was! This allowed me to move forward with the vanity installation right on schedule. I can't say enough about George's attention to detail, his respect for my concerns and wishes and his desire and skill to perform excellent work. He and his crew were very professional and showed great care for my home. I highly recommend Peterka Tile.

They were always on-time, friendly, cleaned-up, and did quality work. We are extremely pleased with this company and would use them again anytime we have tile work.

We could not have asked for better service. George is professional, easy to work with, has an excellent eye for detail and takes pride in his work. We have used George twice, once in our last condo and the second in our new house master Bathroom. He is very friendly and extremely professional with quick response time. Every question was answered thoroughly. When we bought our house our master bath only had a tub. My wife really wanted glass tile in our master bath. We originally had the crazy notion to install glass tile our selves but upon research we learned how difficult it is to cut and work with. So we went back to George after previous great experience during a condo bathroom re-model. We decided to go with him because we realized it was going to be a bigger project. George ended up demoing the walls, installing shower substructure, plumbing for the shower head, and tiling up to the ceiling. The process was faster than expected and every tile is perfectly placed with no blemishes. George does a great job and it shows. The shower is stunning. We will definitely use George for any future work.

After discussing the difference in quality of the floor tiles available, we decided to stay with Italian made tile and stay away from the tile made in China that is sold at the large box stores (Home Depot and Lowe's). George directed us to a large imported tile wholesaler in our area and contacted them to give us his contractors discount. We went to the tile store, made our selection and paid them directly for the materials. George gave us a detailed schedule of the steps the installation would take, such as: -Removal and disposal of existing tile -Leveling of a recessed area in the floor -Timing for the application of undercoating and installation of the tiles -drying times for tile and grout George coordinated his schedule and activities with 2 other general contractors that were doing construction of walls, plumbing and electrical work at the same time. Everything went according to plan smoothly. We completely remodeled our home and when we have company, the first thing they comment on is how beautiful the flooring looks. We were fortunate to find and deal with Peterka Tile and would recommend them to the most discriminating buyers.

I called George to determine if he was available to install tile in the next few days. He came by the next day to look at the job and provided a quote later that day for $675. We already had purchased the tile so he did the work on Saturday and Sunday because he was busy during the week with other jobs. He completed the job early Monday with grouting and came back to seal it. He was always very professional, well prepared, and neat. He was punctual, and called to let us know if he was going to be a little late and to keep us updated on his progress. He also did some minor fixes on the grouting in a bathroom and didn't charge for it. We were extremely happy with the project and highly recommend George. We plan to have him do our kitchen backsplash and possibly a backyard "stacked stone" project.
