Mency Electric

I called Mr.Mency and explained what I wanted but I was ambivalent. Mr.Mency asked me specific question that helped me focus on my need. I needed to have some motion lights installed in 2 units (Duplex). I needed 6 lights installed outside exterior doors and in the driveway. I needed light that would be on 24 hours installed in the rear building (using LED). I needed 2 lights installed by 2 front doors that operated by daylight. The Mency workman did a very professional job, in a reasonable time frame, and for an excellent price. Enclosing, we feel safer knowing that the exterior of our building is lighting (using LED), using low-cost LEDs. I have worked with Mency electric several times since 2015. They explained to me that some openings could have easily had an electric outlet installed or could have a "plate" installed inside the opening so that, if ever desired, an electric outlet could be installed: or that a couple of openings could NOT easily have an electric outlet installed. I was appreciative of the information. I only thought about the safe removal of the old, outdated, electric heaters in the bathrooms. The openings were 19" by 12" by 4". Many workers would have stuffed the opening; then applied plaster and smoothed it and painted over it; instead, wooden strips were nailed in the opening to hold the dry wall; then, dry wall was cut out and taped into place; then, "mud" was applied; allowed to dry; then sanded, primed, and painted. You cannot tell that an opening has been repaired or filled.

Initially, I was referred to Mency Electric by a management company. I was happy to learn that the company was on Angie's List. The owner, Greg Mency, S. was very responsive to my call. Within an appropriate time frame, he bought possible items and sent two of his electricians to my home. A wireless doorbell was installed on the gate to my patio. A wireless door bell had been installed before, by another person, and it never worked. This time, the bell was synced to front doorbell. A hard wired door bell was installed on my front porch. On an exterior wall, I had one electric box that accommodated two plugged in items. That box was changed so that I could plug in three items. It was easy to work with the owner and the two electricians. I, highly, recommend Mr. Mency and his crew.

He came the day after I called him, and estimated the amount of work and materials needed. Started work the next day and was finished two days later. This was just his latest project. I have used him for many years for all my electrical work and have found him to be honest, professional and reliable.
