Description of Work: We had Jay and his crew do extensive renovations, including the total remodel of two bathrooms. This involved altering the layout of the master bath. Our new bathrooms are gorgeous. The master is much more functional now. The tile work was meticulously done, the plumber was excellent, the electrician very professional. All work was done efficiently and to our exacting and very high standards. He kept us informed every step of the way, provided detailed estimates and invoices and called if they were going to be a few minutes late. Jay also built a fireplace mantle which turned out beautifully. I love it. He did that in 5 hours! He also resurfaced a deck. His panting crew painted the exterior and some rooms of the interior of our home. The installed an iron star rail, and new doors and windows. It all turned our fantastic and exceeded our expectations. He will do large and small jobs and is very flexible and accommodating. We would wholeheartedly recommend J A Warner Construction and will be calling him again in the future.

Description of Work: My home had a balcony that had extensive dry rot from improper installation. Another company had installed the roof in 1994, and it also had extensive dry rot, also from improper installation. J.A. Warner's Co. personally did the balcony work and had a roofer (total of six men) recover the last two feet of roof the entire perimeter of the first and second floors, with special attention around the fireplace. They also replaced the associated fascia in the same locations. The roofers primed the fascia before installing; then, as a final move, a painter painted the balcony and the fascia on the first/second floor. In addition, it was certainly appreciated that the crew left the working area picked up and swept each day.

Description of Work: My job included replacing the fascia and roof, two feet from the circumfrence edge, on the first and second floors and re-enforcing my second floor balcony (both areas were due to wood rot and initial bad roofing job and construction). I had two other contractors give bids from "Angie's List A Ratings", but one would bid only on roof work and the other bid was not as detailed and informative as J. A. Warner's. As for the construction itself, each of the two phases was performed by different crews, but Mr. Warner was always on hand each day to make certain the final "sweep up" was performed and the work by the subcontractor lived up to the daily schedule. The roofing subcontractors had the roof completely done in two working days with the help of four workers, and the balcony, including final painting of the fascia and balcony, was essentially completed in four days. I feel the job statement was completed scrupulously. | |

+ 2 moreJay Warner is an exceptionally good General Contractor and his prices are very fair. He has very, very good subcontractors. The quality of the work was phenomenal. They far exceeded our expectations in regards to attention to detail and we are extremely particular about quality. The work by all of the sub-contractors was of the highest quality. The tile work is meticulous. The painters are excellent, clean and careful. The plumber is wonderful and conscientious. His electrician is also excellent. Jay Warner himself is a master carpenter and does unbelievably beautiful work. The mantle and the cabinets are museum quality and we could not be more pleased with the results. Jay coordinated the timing of the project excellently. He broke down detailed costs of all work on his invoices. He always texted me about who would be coming the next day and what time they would arrive. He was very conscientious about performing the work while we were at home. It was a good experience and his work is great. I feel we got great value for our money, especially for this high quality work. He drove an hour each way every day and was still early every time. He serves all of Orange County, California. We would never use anyone else if we needed more work done. We feel lucky to have found Jay. You will be very satisfied if you use this company's services. I recommend J A Warner Construction very highly.
Description of Work: We had 2 bathrooms completely renovated, all new doors and windows installed, two new fireplace mantles built, family room cabinets installed, all new lighting throughout, dimmers, new outlets, interior and exterior paint, installed garage cabinets & utility sink, built a workbench. New deck materials on two balconies. New iron stair rail. Also many miscellaneous minor repairs.
