The owner of the company came as requested to inspect our old heater. He took it apart and discovered it was very rusted. I was convinced we needed a new one although he certainly was not pushing me to get one. We discussed in detail the types of heaters and filters available. He then emailed me a proposal with some different options for filters. We decided to go ahead and his crew came promptly as scheduled and installed the new heater and thermostat. My husband was home at the time and was very impressed with their professionalism and their work in general. Everything went as planned-timing, cost, etc. We are very pleased with our new heater and would call on this company again.

Every well. I called him on a Monday. He came out Tuesday to look and was back by Thursday to install it. The old heater was dead, so getting it done fast was important.

Dan was very professional and very responsive to any questions that arose. The workers were very professional and always cleaned up at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this company.

Dan always showed up when promised - from proposal to completion. They were the lowest price overall and presented the most professional proposal of the five companies I invited to bid. The Angie's List discount didn't hurt either. The work was done in accordance with the proposal in less time than estimated. They were even careful with my two large dogs roaming around. There was very little patching and painting to be done after they cut my ceiling for vents in every room. They even pulled and disposed of my old floor furnace and re-used the old vent line to run wires instead of cutting new holes. I would highly recommend Hoffman for any work and will be calling them for annual services.

They were able to come out and provide an estimate the same week we called them. They recommended a system based upon our situation. They had no problem making little "tweeks" to their original recommendation for some additional features we wanted. They showed up on time for both the estimate and the installation and did clean, professional work. When the first unit that was installed proved to not be functioning properly, they arrived in less than 30 minutes from the time we called to report a problem. It turned out that the unit had a manufacturing defect. The manufacturer (a well-known, brand name)provided a replacement unit very quickly and the new unit was installed the same day they received it. I would highly recommend this company. They provide great service in a very professional manner while still maintaining a friendly, caring attitude.
