+ -1 moreMatt at Hive Pro was very helpful. I hired a company called "The Bee Team" and Ace failed to remove all the bees in the wall. Hive Pro corrected his mistakes. Kyle was on time, professional beyond his years, and performed the wall "cut out" as well as patching. I regret not finding them first. It was horrible to have to pay a second company, but Matt worked with me a little since bee numbers had been reduced.

+ -1 moreMatt responded fast. Also under another name called Burbank Bee Removal Specialist . This is whom I called and found out that the name is also under Hive Pro. It went great. They responded quickly the same day. Matt even called to let me know that the technician would be arriving sooner than he stated prior. That was great news. Kyle the technician arrived and he donned his protective suit and went to work right away sucking/or you could say vacuuming up the hive. Then sprayed after. Took maybe an hour . A very professional company that keeps the same quote they told me over the phone. They take credit cards - Extra nice.
Description of Work: Removal of a large bee hive that formed in a back yard planter . To me it was huge. Bees swarming all around .

Description of Work: Exterminated yellow jackets and removed a nest located within the base of a tree. Sealed off the holes to prevent them from coming back.

Matt at Hive Pro was very quick to send a technician out for a quick estimate, did not try to nickle and dime me, and did the job promptly and cleanly without much hassle. I am definitely going back to this company should I have a similar problem again with my other properties. He backs his work with a 2-year warranty which is longer than other companies' 6-month warranty.

Description of Work: Hive Pro first came to our home 3 weeks ago to remove several wasp nests. They were friendly, professional, punctual and removed/treated the nest areas. This weekend we noticed one of the nests was active again so I called. The owner answered, was very friendly and accommodating and sent the technician out the same day (today) to take care of the problem. This is a very trustworthy company. They honor their commitment and guarantee their work. They are responsive and professional. We really appreciated their return visit but more than that their friendly and positive approach. Thank you Matt and Hive Pro! We highly recommend this provider.

Description of Work: Hive Pro set up an appointment the same day. The technician was very courteous, efficient and professional. There has been no sign of of the bees since Hive Pro did the work, and the price was less than half what I paid for a similar service in 2012.

+ -1 moreWe called in the morning to Hive Pro Bee Removal with a real wasps nest! They were very courteous on the phone and promised to have someone at out house by end of day. And sure enough about 4PM a bee technician was at our front door. He recognized the problem immediately. First he and my husband did a search of the property to make sure there were no other nests. Then with in 30 minutes he removed the nest, cleaned up the area, and sprayed the nest location to make sure wasps would not return. On paying the bill be said they have a guarantee and left his information. This was a very good experience.
Description of Work: We found a wasp nest next to our roof top patio and they removed it.

+ -1 moreWe chose Hive Pro because of their online reviews on other sites, so I wanted to add one to Angie's List. We're very pleased with them. They were thorough, explained what they needed to do, were polite, professional, and very reasonably priced. They never tried to up-sell us, like some other companies have in the past. And the price we were quoted was firm so there were no surprises about cost once they were finished. They also gave us a warranty if we have any further bee problems and even took some before and after photos for us while they were on the roof. Afterwards, they cleaned up, leaving no messes behind. I put Hive Pro's info in our home-improvement folder for future use, if we ever need help with bees again.
Description of Work: Cleaned out an old honeycomb, sprayed, sealed hole and repaired roof.

+ -1 moreStart to finish, a very professional job, all the bees were irraticated, the tree trimmer that removed the tree mentioned that job well done all bees were locked in trunk and no threat to them. Its been 10 days and not 1 bee spotted any where. XLNT job. would highly recommend this company. They could service residential or companys with ease. FIVE STARS review.
Description of Work: Matt the owner of the company called me back on 07/12/2012, I explained that the tree trimming co. representive spotted bees in the crook of our olive tree. The bees appeared to be deep into the trunk of the tree and hundreds of workers were outside on the limb careing for the hive. Told Ringo of the tree trimming co. I will contact a licenced professional to remove them. matt of hive pro bee removal inc. gave me a quote over the phone of 165.00 with a discount of 10% makeing the price 150.00. he asked when I would like it done, and haveing already checked out several other qualified co.s told matt saturday morning . Chose his co. because they use non toxic to pets gas & cement . instead of the foam that other co.s use seemed a more effective,sustainable method. Matts co. also offers a 6mth written garentee. matt showed up right at 8 am, viewed the site then put on his bee suit, brouhgt his professional equipment in the side gate & worked non stop for over 2hrs. He then survayed the area for additional hives or any potential bee infestation. That was the only hive, so the estimate was the total cost.
