Professional service

Everyone I dealt with at Don's was extremely helpful and pleasant. Josh, the serviceman was very responsive, calling or texting me ahead of the appointment and sending me ETAs. He seemed very knowledgeable and on the first visit diagnosed the problems and ordered parts. On the second visit he repaired both my dryer and fridge. It took a long time but I think it was reasonable considering that he rebuilt the dryer and replaced the solenoid on the refrigerator door. He was always very professional and pleasant. I would definitely use Don's Appliances again and recommend them to friends.

Easy to deal with - upfront pricing and easy to make an appointment that fit within our schedule. Tech was punctual, professional and completed the work within an hour.

Don's appliances were very responsive from my initial request, up to the day of their inspection. Josh took my washing machine apart to identify the problems and put everything back the way he found it. He provided an estimate for repairs, but the repair costs were getting close to replacement cost, so I decided not to do the work. He let me know that if I change my mind, the service fee would be applied to the repairs. The team was kind and helpful.

There was a problem with the parts distributor getting the mother board which extended the job. This did not appear to be the fault of Dons Appliances, but rather due to the distributor not doing their job. Andy actually sent his girl friend to pick up the part to make sure the job could finally be completed. Andy ended up giving us a discount due to the problems he had finishing the job more quickly. We appreciated this. Andy was very polite and professional at all times and answered all our questions.

Andy showed up as scheduled and was very professional and worked quickly. he made a thorough diagnosis and fixed the leaking water. He kept everything clean and charged a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Don's appliances - especially Andy!

Breanne responded quickly and set up an appointment for just a couple hours later. Josh showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 1-1/2 hours. Both were very helpful and very nice. I'd definitely use them again.

Excellent job. Replaced bad part in dryer with good result. Diagnosed and fixed icing problem in refrigerator freezer by properly realigning pull out freezer drawer. Diagnosed ice maker problem and provided estimate. Customer declined service on the ice maker.

Anthony, service tech, arrived as promised. He called to inform us of his arrival time. He was very courteous as he listened to our description of the problem and then he got to the job and fixed it. Good job and yes we would hire them again!

It went well. Don's Appliances have fixed the waterlines before (they get brittle and crack and then leak because of the heat from the fridge...not well ventilated.) They have fixed a upright freezer for me and advised a new washing machine over replacing a tub that had come apart. Wasn't worth the cost to repair. So much better than the service plan I originally purchased with the appliances.

Don's appliance was prompt in responding to my call and scheduling for a tech to investigate. Andy showed up and found what appeared to be the problem and ordered some parts. The parts were soon installed only for the washer to continue to leak. He and another tech came to install some additional parts which he did not charge me for since, unfortunately, the washer is still leaking; it's a mystery. They are prompt and very attentive and straightforward.

Great! He made an inspection and found the loose nut holding the gear, then tightened the nut.

Customer service is excellent. Brianne in the office is very professional and responsive. Anthony, the repair tech, arrived actually a few mins early which was great as the washer was non-operational. Anthony diagnosed the problem quickly. Because I am very close to moving and the washer is staying at the property, he helped me determine the most cost effective solution. We even tried a temporary fix without using new parts but he advised against it because it wasn't going to be dependable for more than a few wash cycles. Once we agreed on the best solution, Anthony immediately left to go retrieve the replacement parts, came straight back and installed them and stayed to be sure it operated correctly. Anthony was not only very knowledgeable, but fast, efficient and friendly. Other than having to spend a bit more than I would have liked because I am leaving soon, (not really their fault) - everything went great. I would definitely recommend Don's for appliance repairs. They are an asset to the Angie's List Community

Anthony called and texted before he came over to get more information and to let me know he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem and installed part needed. He also advised of another possible problem in the future. Also educated me on proper maintenance, something I had never known about for dishwashers. He was courteous and professional. We were having a problem with ice forming under the bottom drawer of our GE Profile refrigerator, so we called Don's and had an excellent experience. Andy came out and diagnosed our problem very quickly. It turned out to be a much more challenging issue to fix than either of us had anticipated, but I was impressed by how much effort and dedication Andy put into getting it straightened out. We've dealt with way too many repair people who seem unwilling to spend the time it takes to get the job done right, and that certainly wasn't the case here. In fact, one of the things that most impressed me was that, after a considerable amount of effort to unclog the blockage in our refrigerator's drain, it became apparent that more tools (and a little ingenuity) would be necessary. So, Andy promised to come back another time to finish the job ... and, he didn't try to charge us anything (even a service call fee) until he actually came back an fixed the problem. To me that seemed a very classy move. Overall a great experience. Andy was courteous, professional, hard-working, and, most importantly, got the job done at a very reasonable price. Thanks!

These guys rock! My freezer broke, they were out the next day. Had to get parts, but they got it working well enough to keep me from losing all my food until the parts got in. Then they got it working again, good as new! Andy was wonderful!!!! He explained everything, didn't make a mess of my kitchen in the process, was very kind and considerate, and was just a nice guy all the way around. I had ckd them out on Yelp and Angie's List. They came with high marks and even had a deal on Yelp which was really cool. HIGHLY recommend them!!! Great work, great prices. Thanks again Andy!

Showed up on time. Stayed until the work was done.Charged half of the amount I would have paid Sears, and much easier to deal with. I've also bought used appliances from them with good results.
