Excellent job done on trimming our tree in the backyard. They did the best clean up job compared to any other previous companies,we have used in the past. Abel, was honest and the price was right.

I had a large palm tree to remove (approximately 80'-90' tall). Abel quoted a very fair price. His crew worked fast and efficiently. Very professional! They were careful not to cause damge to the house or nearby power lines. They also cleaned the debris from the roof amd hauled away the tree. I would not only recommend Discount Tree Care Arborist, Inc. but I would use them again if the need arises!

The owner and crew were all very polite and thorough! My yard looks great! They removed three stubborn stumps, a small palm tree, and cleaned out my side yard that had gotten weedy. They dug deep to remove, not just poison (like the other two places), the stumps so they would be gone forever. When done, the crew leader recommended spraying some weed control spray so the side yard doesn't get so overgrown too soon. Fair price for hard workers! They even hauled away all of the debris, cleaned up the concrete, covered in yard waste, and fished leaves out of the pool with the skimmer!

The crew showed up promptly and removed 3 trees in less than 2 hours. They did a fantastic job! They were through and neat, I would definitely recommend them.

I called Abel for an estimate. Quoted me a great price to remove a Chinese Elm tree. His son, Richard, showed with his crew of four. They worked quickly, professionally and seemed happy while working together. They were done in about two hours. The bottom of my tree had grew into the fence. That took some time and effort. My fence did not get damaged. I highly recommend this tree removal service. It is family owned for over 25 years.

Abel's team did an excellent job. Showed up on time, exceeded our expectations with the amount of work they did and then cleaned up the whole area and did it all in a morning. Removed three trees, ground the stumps and cleaned front , back and side yards. I would recommend them to anyone, and all at a reasonable price.

I needed a major yard cleanup...they showed up with a crew of 12! I was pretty impressed, because they did a wonderful job -- very helpful, willing and able to do the work. They took direction and they were definitely "on it." You don't need to keep an eye on them or follow them around. They kept everything nice and clean. They even took some garage stuff I was trying to get rid of. I was excited to get the project done.

On the day I searched for service at HomeAdvisor, I received a quotation that same day. Very fast service. However, on the day of the appointment, Abel gave me a time window but they did not arrive. I called him and asked to give me a better time estimate so that I can run other errands scheduled on that busy day. He told me that they are very busy too. I know that because we all are. What I needed is a more accurate time frame so that I can adjust accordingly. Anyway, the guys arrived and did a good job in removing the tree. When it was payment time, the son was talking to his dad (Abel) and told me the price which is $100 more than the quotation. I showed him the paper work that Abel left which he honors. I would given them all 5 stars if not for these issues.

Family owned and operated. Abel did the estimate and his two sons, Joshua and Jaime managed the job and crew. All interactions were professional. The crew showed up 15 minutes before the start time and spent the first 30 minutes planning out the job (which was difficult due to limited access for the debris removal). Overall very satisfied with the work and would recommend this company.

We hired them to remove our huge 50+ year old dying Weeping Willow and then had them back to trim back and thin out a clump of banana trees. Happy with both jobs. 👍. Maureen, Torrance

The original appointment was a no show but he finally showed the following day and completed the work. I told him that his stump grinder had broken 2 of my sprinkler heads and then he suggested that they were already broken before I had set another appointment for him to come out to fix the problem and he never showed and never called but quick to cash my $500 check!
