The team arrived and quickly started cleaning up the yards. They completed the entire task with minimal guidance. They cleaned up their efforts and left the yards in a beautiful condition.

They did really good work. They removed a tree as well. After a while the ground settled and they came back out and re-leveled the ground.

We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work and professionalism of the owner. He helped us think through various options and determine the best plan for our situation. He understood the requirements of the Long Beach lawn-to-garden program and ensured we were compliant with the rules. His crew is incredibly hard working and efficient. Our neighbors who are home during the day would regularly comment about how hard-working the crew was. Since the job has been finished, we have been getting non-stop compliments. The owner clearly takes an immense amount of pride in his work, and he was consistently helpful in guiding us through the project. Even as we changed our minds on some plants and design choices, he quickly took care of business and made the adjustments. We plan to hire him again for future upgrades to the backyard.

The quality of the work done is top notch. I now see why he tends to be booked ahead for about a month or 2. He was able to squeeze in my job between current project that had some down time. I will be definitely be re-hiring him for my front yard.

I contacted Conrad a few months ago and we scheduled the work for sometime this winter. Work was completed over the course of three days. As no rear access from the street to the property, all ground cover had to be hauled up hill and out to the street and all fabric rolls, plants and mulch had to be carried down in garbage cans and spread on the property. Estimate 160-200 garbage cans of mulch carried down hill to work site. Conrad and his crew were professional, cleaned up the area after they finished working and Conrad walked me through the work performed and answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

It didn't they were scheduling a month out in advance and I can't wait that long! They shouldn't be offering deals when they can't service them!

Initial install went great. Three of the initial plants didn't make it, but Conrad stayed in touch and did replace them as promised. We're happy, the neighbors are happy, and we would definitely call Conrad again.

Another firm create the landscaping design for my front yard. I asked Del Mar Landscaping to execute the design, which included re-configuring the irrigation to a drip system. I messaged Conrad through Angie's list and he responded with a quote after I sent him the detailed design. He told me up front that he wouldn't be able to start my job for at least a month, due to the demand for this services. However, he kept his word and started on the date he promised. He followed the design exactly as depicted on paper. His crew was professional and efficient. The job was done in 2 days, even though he told me it could take up to 5. I'm very pleased with the result. Initially, I thought the estimate was a bit on the high side, but I live by the adage that more often than not, you get what you pay for.

Conrad and his crew did a great job. Conrad come out and listened to what we wanted done and then took the most detailed measurements of all the providers we asked to bid on the project. His crew was punctual, listened to our concerns and were flexible when it came to working around our family and pets. When they were done they also left the job site clean.

Conrad and his crew did another great job for us. His team was punctual and made sure to double/triple check locations of new beds and drip irrigation. The installation of the lawn went smoothly and Conrad spent time going over care and water instructions for the first several months. The irrigation controller is awesome it is app driven and I can multiple schedules in order to save water and reduce run off. It also adjust for rain automatically, no rain sensor needed. Once the lawn and plants are established I should be able to save on my water bills because of its scheduling flexibility.

Conrad met me for the estimate and was thorough in sending over an itemized list. The guys started the job when Conrad said they would, and they finished the job on time. In the middle of this, I had them look at a built-in fountain and they are currently working on getting a larger pump and some other piece. Three days after the job was completed, I thought there was a problem with the work (water pressure issues on the recently repaired valves and the end of a line dislodged and a river was flowing down the walk) and he sent someone that day to look at everything and quickly fixed/resolved the issues. I'm actually hiring them to do the weekly service on the property. Although I'm not officially on their schedule yet, they sent guys over at the end of last week to get the yard ready before new tenants moved in to the property.

I wanted to keep costs down, as this was a temporary backyard installation, so there was quite a bit of back/forth on project scope to keep costs in line with budget. Conrad was patient and worked with me until we had a plan to meet the design/budget requirements. The site team, led by Abel, did a great job and cleaned up the site at the end of each day. Both Conrad and Abel were very responsive during the entire process. Really pleased with the overall level of service, as well as the final outcome.

It went very well. They were very punctual and got all of the work done in a half a day or less. Communication was very good with the owner of the company and a very nice/personable guy as well. They are true experts at true removal and recommendations for replacement plants. Our backyard looks great! I would definitely use them again given their professional work, good communication and reasonable prices.

It went very, very well. The provider did exactly what was agreed upon, as follows: Surveyed my current front yard landscaping on short notice. Made specific recommendations and supplied all materials. Showed up at agreed time. Removed existing sod and weeds and installed weed barriers. Planted drought tolerant plants. Hooked up drip lines and adjusted auto-watering system. Spread mulch. Finished job within requested timeframe. Made me very happy.

I would like to apologize for the delay in my review. I did not realize I did not send it. Conrad, the owner of Del Mar Landscaping, was wonderful to work with. He returned my calls and emails promptly. I was leaving town and he was able to arrange his busy schedule to fit me in. Del Mar Landscaping provided: A very competitive price. Written estimate and great communication skills - I appreciate being able to understand him clearly. Safe - I was concerned about working around wires and potential damage to structures. Prompt - he was actually able to schedule earlier because I was leaving town. Arrived on time and completed work on time. Completed what he said he was going to do the first time. It is very refreshing to work with an owner who runs his company with integrity. I am now responsible for several rental properties and been involved with much deferred maintenance, not everyone has the same high standards. I have a great appreciation for the work Conrad and Del Mar Landscaping have done for me, thank you. I would highly recommend them.

These guys were great very polite they did a little bit of everything mowing our lawn, trimming our bushes, and even replaced a couple of our sprinkler heads that weren't working properly. At the end they even hauled out the trash leaving our lawn looking clean very pleased with the service thank you Del Mar Landscaping.

They did a great job and are even beginning work for our neighbor.

The guys were wonderful trimmed some ivy from our fence and picked up for themselves good job.

The company was not prompt in responding. When I finally got thru them they were very busy, could not set up a date until some time in Dec. It is for Fall Cleanup, not Winter. So I cancelled them.

They didn't arrive at the time I would of liked them too they were a bit late but they were great. The gardeners did a nice job mowing our grass and trimming our bushes. They even cleaned up all of the trash that was made while they were working. Were very pleased with their service the price was just right too. Thanks

Recently bought this property. Until we had time to deal with the backyard, just kept watering it to keep all the fruit trees alive. Led to an overgrown backyard with lots of runaway ground cover and weeds. Yard is sloped and difficult to work on making the job more arduous. Had scattered garbage for some reason in various locations, some wind blown in and some from construction crews that left materials behind from before we bought the house. The team pulled the weeds and trimmed the ground cover back and cleaned it all up, picked up the garbage, overturned the weedy dirt along the side of the house rather than weed whack it, carried up and stacked piles of firewood kindling I wanted moved as well, also moved tools up to the driveway as requested. Now the backyard is clean enough to repair the sprinkler damage, trench electrical, do all the other projects that need to be done. They did a great job. They came on time, started immediately and there is no sign of the piles of weeds and ground cover they pulled out. I would definitely recommend them and will have them back to discuss landscaping once the in-ground work is all done.

Del Mar landscaping showed up on time with four guys. They cleared out over eight years of literally a jungle in the side yard of a house we just purchased ! Their prices were great. They went over and beyond and were very good about cleaning up when done. Would highly recommend them.
