Description of Work: Provider put in drought tolerant landscape in front yard in September, 2015. Did a wonderful job. Since then the sprinklers they installed have stopped working. I've e-mailed them three times and twice they told me they were coming. The last time was yesterday. I was told Abel would be here. No one showed up or called either time. They also are supposed to replace a plant for me. This was before the problem with the sprinklers. Conrad told me he had the plant but no one ever showed up to put it in.

Description of Work: Trimmed hedges, shrubs, plants, etc., along backyard fences. Some hedges required deep cutting with chain saw. The team of workers were good and the supervisor was responsive to instructions. Office manager was very professional and helpful in responding to a neighbors request to pick up cuttings.

Description of Work: Installed pavers, synthetic grass, sod, pygmy palms, flowers and sprinklers. Conrad gave me the estimate within a couple days after our walkthrough and warned me he was scheduling jobs about 6 weeks out. It took them almost 3 months to start because they were backlogged. Conrad's crew was very professional and did a beautiful job in the backyard. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Conrad and his team are, for one, just really nice guys to work with; moreover, they are professional and hard working. We worked with Del Mar to renovate our front yard which included installation of trees and drought tolerant plants in the yard as well as our curb strip. They installed drip irrigation and landscape lighting and laid decomposed granite in place of our removed turf. We have ZERO complaints and have since hired Del Mar to renovate our backyard as well. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: They consulted on our landscaping, planted an area in the front of the house. The planting took place just before we left town when it was very hot. They have since graciously agreed to replace some of the plants that did not survive.

Description of Work: I never had any face to face contact with anyone except for the single worker who originally came out. Everything was done through emails, which I didn't like. No one ever came out to my home to assess what I wanted done, and how much work it would be. It took a week of emails back and forth before anyone was sent out. That Saturday was hot and only 1 guy showed up at around 9:30 am. When I got there around 12:30 in the afternoon, I thought maybe no one was there. There were some clippings on the ground laying around a tree stump, lots of clippings from the heaven trees I wanted cut down, but there were still a lot more to go. Then I saw the single worker coming from near our shed. He told me someone else was supposed to be coming to help him. No one else ever came, and he left before 5:00pm without telling us anything. I went out to see the job he'd done and was shocked to find tree cuttings and bush clippings all over the ground. The driveway had small piles of dirt and grass left behind, and the yard basically looked awful. I seriously considered giving the company a really bad review then. About the middle of the next week, I got another email telling me that Conrad was going to send someone out to finish the job. I hadn't know that it wasn't finished! I left the following message: "Thank you for letting me know. I was very upset with the way he left the back yard. Although he cut down most of the trees of heaven, he also left some, and left a lot of cuttings, and weeds laying on the ground. I was not going to give your company a good review. I know it was kind of hot, and he said he was waiting for some one else to come and help him, but leaving things like that without letting anyone know what was going on was bad. We were all home; all he had to do was knock on the door and let us know!" Conrad responded with: "I understand. The equipment we had didn't work and he had to go repair it and it was late by then. However, I will send Abel the foreman out to finish everything and go beyond your expectations. I apologize, I will make it great. Thanks for your patience. Conrad" and "Abel will be there this morning. Thanks again. Conrad". No one showed up on that Thursday. It wasn't until Friday or Saturday, and all that happened was that the clippings were picked up and put into our trash bin. There are still heaven trees left, the bush that needed trimming looks terrible, and it was just such an awful job. I would not use this company again.

Description of Work: Contracted for weekly lawn and garden maintenance. Pleased with service after the first month.

Description of Work: Entire front yard changed to xeriscape per my design. Had difficulty finding correct plants, so I bought the unusual ones and still need to find 2 or 3. Also got repair of sidewalk damaged by tree roots and entire drip irrigation installed. The guys at Del Mar were nice to work with. The yard is still a work in progress as I add plants.
