I would highly recommend Conrad and his team to anyone. Creative ideas, great work ethic and our yard looks amazing. He delivers what he says he will and his team showed every day on time. I would use him again and would recommend him to everyone.

The process took only two days. One the first day 8 workers were at my house at 8:13am to remove the old sprinkler system and dig the trenches for the new system. At noon the crew was trimmed to 4 workers and they completed the installation of the sprinkler system. The company providing the sod brought it by truck two days later at which time 2 worker installed the sod. The owner of the company showed me how to work the timer with had been installed in my garage. They completed the installation of sod that day and also programmed the timer for me. The lawn looks GREAT!!!! I appreciated the professionalism and work ethics of all of the workers and the owner.

Excellent. Conrad showed up on time, as scheduled, and his crew worked very efficiently. They cleaned up every day before they left. Working with Conrad and his crew was a great experience. Work started exactly when it was scheduled. The crew was punctual every day, very clean and organized, and the whole job took just a little longer than planned because we asked them to do additional work, which they did for a very low price. We got several bids for the work that we had done. Del Mar was not the lowest bid, but they were not the highest either. We felt that the quality of the work that was done was excellent. Well worth the money, and well worth waiting for as they had several jobs lined up before ours. Our finished backyard looks beautiful and we are so happy with the finished product. We were so happy with everything that we decided to hire Del Mar for weekly yard service. We highly recommend Conrad and Del Mar Landscape.

It has been about 5 weeks now and the lawn looks great! Better than we had expected. All of our neighbors saw it looks really good. We would definitely hire again and recommend Conrad and his crew. They worked hard and did an excellent job.

The guys at Del Mar Landscaping were great. Conrad, the owner of the company is the best. He is honest, understanding, and willing to work with you. His workers are also great - they always came with a smile and eager to work. They worked round the clock to get as much done as possible each day they came. Now, like all construction type jobs, there were a few things that didn't go as planned but the guys made sure to fix things as best as possible to give me what I envisioned / wanted. Ex. the putting green they installed was a little bumpy around the holes, wasn't as smooth as I'd hope it'd be - they came with a solution and fixed it within a few days of me letting them know. There were even a couple occasions where the plants they planted died a couple of weeks after they put them in and they, without question or hassle, replaced them. They are willing to own up to their mistakes (it happens) and fix things - which is refreshing as not all contractors I've dealt with are like this. I would definitely work with these guys again.

They got there right when the said they would and got most of it cut down and back by the end of the first day. Cleanup took longer than expected but it really was not a problem. There was a lot to clean up! They did a great job. I would recommend them and plan to have them back in the future for some additional work.

It took a couple of days but they did a great job. Very happy with their work. Very much worth the money as they were quite reasonable! Later we had a planter built. It was a little more expensive and I was not happy with the final product so he redid it. The finished product the second time was a beautiful match with the other planter built in the 50's. I was/am extremely happy!

I needed work to small front patio. It would need debris removal, some demo and pavers installed. I had several contractors come in to give me an estimate so I could get an idea of the average cost. Del Mar had an Angie List special of $1850 credit for 40 hours of work that could be applied to the type of work I wanted done, so I wanted to take advantage of that. The offer requested payment up front, but I was not going to do that until contacting Del Mar. It took a day or so before I heard back from Conrad and when I asked about using the offer and scheduling work, he became cagey and started stating he couldn't doing any work for many weeks out. I asked could he at least come give an estimate since I wanted to use the coupon before it expired. In our communication, it seemed like he didn't even want to do that, but eventually he agreed to come out. He showed up and looked over the patio and said he would get back to me with estimate later. When he did he e-mailed and gave me a cost that was in the average of what the other contractors gave BUT he stated that the cost was WITH the discount and he wouldn't go any lower in price. I thought that kind of interesting since we had never discussed price or negotiated anything. Obviously, he knew his discount would knock the cost down below average rate and didn't want to honor the coupon HE put on Angie's List. I asked for a itemization of the cost so I could see what I would be paying for materials and labor and other stuff. He mentioned the things he had to do {that we had already talked about} and I asked him specifically what does each task cost so I could understand how it all cam out to the total price. He REFUSED to give breakdown of the cost of the job. He would only give me a total cost and would not discuss how he came up with the price. THIS more than anything made me stop dealing with him. I urge potential customers to watch out for this company. Get some prior quotes of any work you need done and IF you have to go with Del Mar Landscaping, demand a breakdown of what he quotes you. Also be aware that he will try to weasel out of the offers he places on Angie's List. He is "phishing" with the adds to reel in customers but when you start dealing with him, he tries to get out of honor the coupon he offered. Beware!

Excellent....he worked his butt off...will definitely hire again and continue on a quarterly or monthly basis with additional services.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Del Mar Landscaping. The appointment was scheduled promptly and the workers showed up on time and did what was nothing short of a fantastic job. They also went the extra mile and cleaned up my front yard as well when only the back yard was scheduled. This greatly pleased me, and even with that they finished all the work early and left my yard looking great; free from any fire danger due to it's previously over grown condition. The workers were punctual and were very pleasant to work with as they were most accommodating to any suggestions or concerns I had. I would most definitely hire them again and would also recommend them to friends and family! Because of the above comments I gave them the highest rating I could give, and wish to thank them for a job well done!

The work was completed to my satisfaction. I will call on Del Mar in the future to help with some of the heavy work I need assistance with in my large back yard.

They were great - I told them what I needed to have done and they went right to work and cleaned up everything even better than I could have wished for. The two men worked non-stop (I did bring out some water because it was so hot) for the 4 hours and left everything whistle-clean. They were fast, efficient and attentive to detail. They took very good care of the backyard.

Every phase of the project went very well. I gave the design of what I wanted to the owner, Conrad Romero, and he not only gave me an excellent price but also addressed all of my concerns with professionalism.

Conrad came out and listened to what I wanted, make a couple of suggestions and told me what to expect. They scheduled it quickly and did it beautifully. My wife and I are very happy with the results. The job looks great and the cleanup was complete. PS the price was very competitive. ________________________________________

Del Mar was one of the considered contractors but not used on this project but will on future ones.

They did awesome landscaping! There were three guys that came out to do the work. It took a day.

What a great service! Conrad's professional expertise gave us a new sprinkler system with very dramatic lighting for accent. And the masonry work was added seamlessly. The men arrived promptly every morning and worked diligently to complete the project in a very timely manner. They even assisted in planting additional plants around the perimeter of the house! We were on a very tight schedule to accommodate a professional commitment and Del Mar rescheduled themselves to fit us in and completed the entire project as promised. And the added bonus - our neighbors commenting on the quick service and dramatic lighting. I can not say enough good things about this service. I would not hesitate to call on Del Mar Landscaping again.... and I will!

It went fairly well. Good communication, in that they were responsive. There was a small bit of confusion. The posting didn't specify that the hours were man hours - in other words, the hours worked were not the full number of hours stated - however, there were 4 men here and if you go by man hours then according to the guy I spoke with, they gave me more than the hours stated in the post. They did a good job, and I felt all was fair, would just recommend that the specifics be made clearer in post (maybe due to Angie's List, instead of contractor, based on what the contractor told me, Solid B.

Great. They were helpfull in picking design and gracious when I had to change the project. Took the amount of time projected. Timely and efficient. Very happy with project.

There were some initial problems with communication, perhaps due to the holidays and then rain. However, at the end of the day, Conrad and his men did a great job at a very fair price. My "plan" was fairly sketchy and they did a great job of following directions while adjusting where necessary.
