Received several quotes. Conrad was the most competitive in pricing, and equally thorough in his evaluation. Conrad was flexible with our plant choices and offered some great alternatives. The work was scheduled soon after we selected the vendor. The workers arrived promptly and performed the tasks requested. Very professional crew, and clean-up was also done.

Conrad has a great personality and was a pleasure to work with. I am really happy with the work and will use Del Mar Landscaping for any other landscaping work I need done in the future

Conrad showed up in the summertime to give me a quote on the job but I did not want to have the work completed until the summer heat had passed. He gave me a detailed estimate and was willing to wait until we were ready to begin the project. He and his workers cleared out old plants and saved other ones that were going to be reused in the design. All plants were delivered and planted in a beautifully laid out plan. Old landscaping was removed, weeds pulled and sprinklers relocated with new nozzles used. A thick, woody mulch was added to retain moisture in the area. After realizing that some piping had been broken when old bushes were removed, Conrad was quick to come out and fix the problem. Overall, I am pleased with the work performed. In addition, none of the plants have died, even in the very shady area of my yard.

Conrad and his worker arrived promptly to remove the old lawn. I had previously killed the lawn using Roundup. After the lawn was leveled, he placed the order for the Marathon 3 sod. When the sod arrived he installed the new sprinkler heads and laid the sod. He fixed a couple of breaks in the water line in the front strip and made sure that the sprinklers, both new and old provided coverage. He is a very personable young man and reacted quickly to any issues that arose such as the leaks in the front pipes. His price was very reasonable and I highly recommend him.

I contacted Conrad thru Angie's list along with 2 other recommended providers and he responded very quickly, made himself available for an appointment to review the project and gave me a very reasonable estimate considering the amount of work. His team came on the day scheduled and did a wonderful job, very quickly....after review of it all the next day with my husband, he realised a few plants needed to be moved and he came and did the job without any additional charge...great to find reliable people these days !

Conrad did a great job! He was not able to come on the day scheduled but he called early so I did have to wait all day for him. The following day he arrived on time and worked on the project until it was properly completed. Not only would I recommend this service, I plan to use this service next month on another project !!

Conrad came out the day after I called. I was going to just get an estimate from him, but he said it would be fairly simple and he could just do it right then if I wanted since I already had the supplies needed. He was very professional and curteous and knew right away what needed to be done. He finished the job quickly and exactly to my specifications. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Conrad came the same day I called to give an estimate. I explained what I wanted and what not to trim. His men arrived on schedule a few days later and knew exactly what to do. This is the first time I have had a gardener who communicated effectively to his men about what not to touch and how to trim without over pruning. They were wonderful and my garden looks great. I will definitely continue to use them.

They tilted off and removed the old grass. They did a really good job. They did it all in a timely manner. They always cleaned up after themselves too, which I appreciated. They didn't leave any dirt or mess behind after they would leave. The guy who came out was very easy to work with. He was very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them to other folks who are looking for lawn and irrigation system.

Everything had gone wonderfully. His quote to us after first surveying the work was WAY lower than every other landscaper I'd talked to. They worked with our schedule (which was tight - we were rushing to get our yard done before putting the house up for sale), and had everything completed in one day. The weekly maintenance had gone just as well. I highly recommend Conrad and Del Mar to anyone looking to get their property cleaned, sculpted, or otherwise maintained.

Conrad is my regular gardener. He also does tree trimming. His guys always do a good job.

Conrad and his crew were absolutely fantastic! I had many contractors evaluate the project, but their estimates varied greatly, and they all expressed that, because of the access to the yard, the project would be a big problem, a "Big Deal," and would drive up the price. I called many companies; some people got back to me, some didn't. Conrad from Del Mar Landscaping always did. Even though we were constantly playing phone tag due to my schedule, Conrad always called me back. We made an appointment for an estimate, and he drove from Long Beach to Pasadena, even calling to let me know that the traffic was horrible and he'd be a few minutes late. He was really great to deal with; friendly, professional, personable, knowledgeable. He took down notes about the project, took measurements, and gave suggestions without pushing anything that I didn't want. He even offered to remove an old, dangerous piece of fence and trim up an overgrown tree as part of the project. Further, he assured me that the access to my yard or driveway would not be a problem, that Del Mar Landscaping would get it done. When he got right back to me with a totally reasonable estimate, telling me he could complete the project in one day the following week, I was SOLD! Conrad and his crew arrived early that day and began work without any kind of inconvenience to me at all (I work from home). They worked fast and did an awesome job, spraying water to keep dust down and digging up the remnants of the lawn without disturbing any of the surrounding rose beds at all. In fact, none of my plants or anything adjacent to the narrow suffered any ill effects since Del Mar Landscaping was so careful. I really appreciated that! They ended up trimming the tree so much better than I ever expected, removing a limb that they saw was resting on the roof, and much improving the aesthetics of the back yard. With everything they had to do, I was pleasantly surprised that they completed the project well before the end of the day. They cleaned up after themselves impeccably, leaving absolutely nothing behind but a beautifully graveled yard. Overall, the result was EXACTLY what I wanted. Conrad was really great to deal with, his price was right, and ALL of the details of the project were attended to. The Del Mar Landscaping crew was friendly, courteous, extremely professional, and took great care to do the job right.
