 + -1 moreThe work done was exceptional, I saw the amount of trash that was in the gutters and they removed all of it. The workers at this company are easy to work with and are committed to doing the best job they can do. They didn't do anything that displeased me, it went very smoothly.
Description of Work: My rain gutters have never been inspected or cleaned before and I noticed that the water from the rain was not draining out properly. I hired this company to do do a full clean for my rain gutters.

 + -1 moreI called Pat for an estimate and he was at my house first thing the next morning. The quote was reasonable and his crew started immediately. Less than a hour later they were done. The neighbors asked him for a quote on the spot and he actually did theirs as well. I am waiting for the next storm to see how well the gutters flow. As of today, I would strongly recommend Bresnahan and will use them again.

 + -1 moreIn 2011 my gutters were clearly clogged. I called Mr. Bresnahan and he and his crew came the same day and did a superb job, cleaning all the leaves and dirt that had gathered and then flushing each of the downspouts. This year the team showed with equal dispatch but there was no flushing. Mr. Bresnahan said things would be fine, the spouts were clear, and all would go well. We have not had a sufficiently strong storm since so that I might observe how well the spouts are functioning, but still I felt that a prophylactic flushing would have been better. The team seemed a bit rushed. However, I would have no doubts about calling Mr. Bresnahan again.

 + -1 moreI had an Angie's List coupon for 99 feet of gutter cleaning for $99. I called to make an appointment and they were able to schedule me for the next day. They showed up promptly and got to work right away. I explained that I had more than 99 feet of gutter and they said they would clean it all with no extra charge. They went up on the roof and picked the debris out of the gutter and put it into bags. After cleaning the debris out, they hosed the gutters and downspouts to make sure everything was working properly. Then, they swept the patio area and hosed off the concrete slab and left everything neat and clean. The supervisor (Mr. Bresnahan) was very courteous and his work crew was very efficient.
Description of Work: Gutter cleaning and downspout clearing and the additional services of cleaning the patio where the work was performed.

 + -1 moreHe was excellent. Came on time, very friendly, excellent job. The only downside is that he is a little suspicious of environmentalists, and both my wife and I are very green. (This is NOT relevant to the work, but just came up) But we had a very fun and nice chat about it. Great guy, great service, highly recommended!

They looked around and gave em a bid of $350 - I thought that was a bit high but I needed the job done and it was raining. He offered to come back again when it stopped raining to clean out the gutters further and install another portion of my gutter that was removed during pool construction.
Description of Work: Arrived within an hour of my calling him to take care of my gutters, clean & repair. They cleaned all gutters first and second story and repaired one area that was leaking. Included collecting lots of sludge that had accumulated in the gutters.

 + -1 moreCalled Pat on Friday late morning to ask for an estimate. He was already in the neighborhood and said he could be there within the hour. He called back in the early afternoon with a quote and offered to do the gutter cleaning immediately. I was not home at the time, but agreed to have him clean our gutters over the phone. He called after completing the job and confirmed that we had some bad blockages in some of our downspouts. He also confirmed that our roof tiles look good - no cracked tiles. When I arrived home, I could see that he had swept all of the concrete around the house and our green bin was almost full of debris he had cleaned. He left an invoice for the agreed amount under the doormat, and we mailed him a check the next day. We have not had a problem since cleaned the gutters.
Description of Work: Our gutters were overflowing in various places of the house during heavy rains. We tried cleaning the gutters ourselves and using a snake to unblock the downspouts to no avail. It does not help that we have large trees next to both sides of our house that have been dropping leaves. We called Pat for an estimate and hired him to clean our gutters and down spouts (about 200 linear feet) on a 1 story house (1/4 of the house is 2 story because of a garage).

 + 0 moreCrew arrived on time. Workers climbed up onto roof to clean out rain gutters after all autumn leaf drop had finished from adjacent tree. All gutters cleaned out, as well as channels between rows of terra cotta tiles and between roof/roof and roof/chimney angles. Flat surface roof in rear portion of house also cleaned as well as flat garage roof. Work was done quickly and without any problems. I was unable personally to climb up to roof level to examine all parts of the area myself, but I believe the work was done well. Certainly all the area I could see from the ground was satisfactory. I was completely pleased with the experience, and will most likely call again next year, especially if there is another "Big Deal". Probably will call even if there isn't another "Big Deal" offer.
Description of Work: Removal of leaves and debris from rain gutters and where accumulated between clay roof tiles and in angles between roof surfaces and other structures (e.g. chimney). Flat portions of house roof and garage roof inspected and cleaned where needed.

Description of Work: We are moving to a home we just bought. We had someone refinishing our wood floors and while he was working it started to rain very hard. Water was coming in through a window frame due to the raingutters being blocked. I did not know who to call who might come out so the problem could be solved and we could finish the floors and get moved within 2 days. Well, I went to Angie's list and called Bresnahan Rain Gutters. Pat called met back within 5 minutes and adjusted his schedule so he could come first thing in the morning. He and his crew were actually early. Pat quickly assessed the problem, cleared all gutters and tested them. He also suggested preventative repairs we should do when we are able. Because of this company, the wood floors could be finished the same day and we are able to move in as planned.

Description of Work: Mr. Bresnahan came promptly to my home and gave me an estimate for gutter cleaning. Upon inspection of gutters, there was a section of gutter that had completely come loose and I had not noticed. I also needed a gutter drain pipe shortened, because it was too close to the ground and would always get clogged up with debris not allowing the rain water to drain. Mr Bresnahan and staff did the repairs and gutter cleaning that same day, cleaned up my yard nicely from all the leaves and dirt (2 years worth) in my gutters.
