I had to move everything out of my house to have asbestos ceilings and ducts removed. I only had room in my garage to store the small stuff, so decided to have all the furniture put into storage. A friend recommended Ace, and I will now pass that favor on to you. They are outstanding! The Ace representative came to the house so I could identify everything that would be moved and stored, and gave me a quote based on that visit. The quote was slightly lower than the final cost, but not far off. The storage fees are quite reasonable. My only slight dissatisfaction is that they sent email invoices each month with that month's charges, but they were not itemized and sometimes not easy to understand. When the job was finished, I asked for one complete invoice or receipt showing all the charges, and I did receive one a couple weeks later. I scheduled the move well ahead of time, and they assigned an account rep who contacted me, gave me her contact info, and followed up with reminders. On the day of the move the "packing" team arrived first, and began to disassemble things like beds and IKEA desks. By the time the "moving" team arrived, the first team had already moved almost everything down from the second floor. They shrink wrapped everything, to keep it clean and together. They created a "parts box". As they disassembled things, they wrapped all the small parts and hardware (screws, etc) together and labeled it, then put those packets into the parts box. They were even able to wrap my tall IKEA bookcases well enough that they survived the move intact, and I know that IKEA bookcases (because the backs are not wood and not attached) are so wobbly that the usually do not survive a move. I was really impressed with how well they handled these. As they loaded the truck, they put a number sticker on each item, and one person on their crew wrote a list of all the item numbers with a short description. They also moved a couple of heavy filing cabinets into my garage so that I would have access to them while the work was being done in the house. When I was ready to move back home, I again contacted my account representative at Ace and set the move in date. The arrived right on time, and did their good work in reverse. Because they had packed and labeled all the parts, they were easily able to reassemble everything. Because all the overstuffed furniture had bee shrink wrapped, everything was clean. They were very careful of the new flooring and new paint in my house, and there was no damage. As they moved each item in, they had me check off the number of that item on the master list. A few number stickers had come off, but because there was a master list with short description of each numbered item, I was able to identify that everything had been returned to me. All the crews were very efficient, very professional, and worked rapidly but carefully. I will definitely hire Ace for my next move.

The first two times Ace moved us were both from So. Cal. residences to So. Cal. residences. The moving team was professional and careful. Everything was well packaged and organized and delivered in a timely manner. The third time Ace moved us was from So. Cal. to Virginia. The packing and moving team in Los Angeles were excellent and professional and well-organized. The 3 guys worked well as a team. However, our belongings arrived 1 week later than they told us they would arrive. On the day the belongings were supposed to arrive, we called and asked where the stuff was and they said the driver was still in Colorado. When the stuff arrived, the team was not as fluid and did not work as well together as the Los Angeles team did. They unloaded our stuff fine, but weren't as careful and some of our furniture suffered marks and we had a broken leg on one piece of furniture. To break it down, I would give the So. Cal. movers an A rating for both times they moved us within SO. Cal. I give the Virginia local movers a B- rating. I give the driver who drove our belongings across country a C- or D rating for being one week late. If your move is wholly within So. Cal., you and your stuff should be fine if you use this company.

From our initial contact to request a quote for our move, to working with us on our need to be flexible on scheduling the move and then taking such great care in packing and delivering our furniture and possessions, we were extremely impressed with the professionalism by all those involved in move. The movers arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m and worked quickly. They were professional, nice, clean, and respected our requests when it came to moving certain items. They placed all the boxes in the appropriate rooms, made no marks on our freshly painted walls. They were done at 3:30 pm and left no mess. I would definitely use their services again.

They were fabulous! Very professional. I coordinated the move, and they made me feel very comfortable with the process and explained everything in detail. They didn't make me feel bad about any questions that I had. We worked with Ming Lai, and he was just extremely forthcoming and was really great to work with. He made the process very easy.

It was excellent. They were on time, very knowledgeable about packing, and everything arrived on time. I got the exact move in date and everything was absolutely perfect.

In working with this company, I had the opportunity to meet with an Account Manager, who came to our house and gave an estimate to move; the Relocation Coordinator, who scheduled our move; and a team of four movers. Because our escrow did not close on time, we had to reschedule our original move date. This was no problem. Then our new house was not ready to move into due to delays. They moved us out, kept our belongings on the truck in a secure lot overnight and moved us in the next morning. Not being able to move in and out on the same day was discovered on the morning of our move. This was no problem. They rescheduled us for the next day and made our move process smooth. The moving team was awesome! Never once did we feel rushed or stressed. They were calm, organized, and professional. They responded to our every request and treated us and our things with respect.
