A1 Speedy Appliance

This guy was very good... He showed up yesterday right away and was very friendly and professional. Quickly fixed my refrigerator at a reasonable price. Saved me several hundred dollars as I thought I was going to have to buy a new one! If you are in the Long Beach area and have any appliance issues, this is your guy!

Mr. Uraynar cleaned the filters with a wire brush. Then, he treated the dishwasher with an acid wash. Apparently, the service was successful because the tenants are very grateful.

Brian knows the machine well. Expect to pay for competence and speed. The labor charge includes a $10.00 Angie's List discount.

Have used A1 Speedy Appliance a few times over the years. While certainly not inexpensive, the amounts paid for work/repairs received was, in my opinion, well worth it and has provided extra life to appliances. Never tried to "sell" me work not necessary and in fact recommended buying a new appliance as cost to repair would be considerable.

great job, changed blower motor, now my old (1984) Kenmore is working great! Probably not too energy efficient, but not the fault of A1 Speedy.

Prior to him coming out, I had no problem with my ice maker, but 4 days after he came, it stopped making ice. He told me if I need him to come out again he will have to charge me a separate fee. He charged me $95 for the water dispenser, and said that the ice maker is a different issue so it would be another $95. My concern is that it was working prior to him coming out and working on the water dispenser, and 3 or 4 days later, the ice maker stopped working. The owner of the company is Brian Uraynar.

Repair was fast and efficient. Bad main circuit board was bad. Service person had replacement board on truck and made the change. Help us out quickly when the refrigerator was dead.

Brian was very helpful. The location was on the border of his service area, but he got there on time at rush hour. Expect to pay for great service, but I think it is worth it.

Called Brian to fix leak inside refrigerator that was dripping onto floor. Fast and responsive service. He is not as familiar with newer style refrigerators but ultimately got the job done.

Called at 10 AM, explained the problem, and was told that I could expect the technician between 11 and 4. Brian called about 11:20 and said he was on his way, and he showed up about 11:30. He quickly diagnosed the problem and wrote up an estimate. I agreed to have him do the repair, and the service call fee was waived. The repair was completed quickly and professionally, and for the estimated cost. (Brian even fixed a minor problem with my ice maker as a courtesy, at no cost). I will definitely use his services again. It's really refreshing to receive this quality of service.

Dishwasher and clothes dryer are working now. Bryan was punctual and explained every step of his repair work. Very professional and knowledgeable about his work.

He arrived fairly promptly and began inspecting my dishwasher. He retrieved the model number and advised that it was the panel and that he would have to order it. He later contacted me and stated that the panel was no longer available and said he had called from one end of the country to the other. My son ended up coming over a couple days before Thanksgiving and called Sears. They had the panel and we had it delivered. I called A1 and advised that we had received the panel from Sears and was wondering when he could come out and install it. He told me that he was too busy. My neighbor ended up coming over and installed the panel and had it working within 10 minutes.

was able to trouble shoot the problem and fix it in a very timely manner. I made an error in my initial evaluation of this company confusing this company name of A1 with A-Z appliance. I wish to apologize to the owner and employees of A1.

I've worked with Brian in the past and he is always responsive and prompt, and this time it was no different. I was very pleased with how quickly he diagnosed the problem, replaced a broken part with a new one already on hand, and got our washing machine working again. I will definitely be calling A1 Speedy for our future appliance issues!

On time, went right to the problem, and repaired within an hour. Cleaned up like nothing even happened.

My refrigerator stopped cooling. Left message on Angie List for A1 Speedy App. Brian called back, made appt, arrived on time, fixed the problem and refrigerator is running fine now. Very professional and knowledgable. I will call him again if any appliance problems.

Everything went well. The process was fast and efficient. He also removed some coins that had gotten caught and were rattling around the drum.

Brian arrived and diagnosed the issue causing the dryer to not operate. He had to order the part and informed me that there would be a lengthy delay due to the New Year holiday. He called when the part arrived and scheduled a time to repair. I was unfortunately out of town, so things did not go as smoothly on my end, but Brian was patient and accomodating and arrived the next day to finalize the repair. The entire duration of this diagnosis and repair, I found Brian to be professional and respectful both in person and over the phone. He even put up with our crazy (friendly) dogs and acted as if they were no hinderance to him. We appreciated his professionalism, quality, timeliness, and communication and will definitely call on A1 Speedy Appliance again.

Made same day appointment to fix my washing machine which was great. Within 2 minutes tech knew what the issue was and fixed in 10 minutes. A very easy fix, so the tech was in and out under 30 minutes. This company charges $60 just to come out and diagnose the problem. The minimum labor charge is $100 even if it is a 10 minute job. You are basically forced to do this, since if you don't you still have to pay the $60 just for them coming out. I tried talking to the owner but he wasn't interested in negotiating. He did say that he would give me a discount if I used him again. Which I will never do. If you like fast and efficient and don't mind spending more than you should, this is for you. This is not for those on a budget.
