Brian at 562 Electrician took out our old hanging fluorescent lighting and installed new LED recessed lighting in our kitchen while remodeling it. He also added 2 electrical outlets for additional appliances in our kitchen. He listened to my requests and provided recommendations for the issues we faced. He arrived when he said he would and called to discuss problems that arose from having a 70 year old house. Great contractor, will definitely hire again.

Brian is FANTASTIC!! We had a lot of outdated and shady electrical work, etc., on our home (from previous owners). So we had a lot of work scheduled to be done on our home and Brian was great. He scheduled some repairs ahead of the major work we were to have done by other vendors then came back a few weeks later to do the major work. He and his assistant finished the first job in a day, and the major one was completed two days ahead of schedule. He stayed late the first day to make sure we had electricity that evening (when updating the panel), and everything was cleaned up after each day. He explained what he did each day, what he would be working on the next day, and helped me figure out the permits once the job was completed. Everything he added or replaced looks really clean and everything works perfectly. We couldn't be happier.

My wife and I were finalizing the purchase of our first home and I contacted Brian Smith at 562 Electrician to quote a punch-list of items identified by the home inspector as well as some upgrades to the garage. I wanted to get an idea of the costs for electrical repairs before we released our inspection contingency. Brian responded quickly to my email and we set an appointment to walk the property. Our first appointment was rained out but we rescheduled for the next week. Brian was punctual, professional, thorough and really listened to what our needs were. His bid was reasonable and he offered creative solutions to help minimize our costs. The day after our close of escrow I received a "Big Deal" notice for a whole house rewire that was too good to pass up. I advised Brian of the offer because, well frankly, I would have liked to have given him the business. Brian responded saying that the offer was a good one and gave me some helpful tips to validate that the offer was legit and would meet code before wishing me the best of luck. That is what I call being a "class act". Although I didn't end up using Brian for the work I would not hesitate to call on him in the future or recommend his services to any of my family, friends and co-workers. If you live in the "562" and need an electrician make sure that you put Brian Smith on your short list.
