UFM Designs

Description of Work: I have had 2 custom cabinets, 2 small tables and 1 desk made to my exact specs. All pieces were also finished to my specs--truly custom work. Ryan Hedgecock is excellent to work with. After submitting my design criteria, Ryan provided me with 3D computer drawings of the pieces so I could see them and make changes where necessary. THIS WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL!! It saved me a lot of money and time in make necessary changes BEFORE the piece was created. Once the pieces where created there were no surprises because of this extra service he provides. Paco built all of my pieces, and his cabinet making abilities are excellent. UFM chose a great cabinet maker with Paco. Ramon does the custom finishing--he too does a great job. My most recent purchase is a beautiful armoire/dresser combination for my bedroom. It is a dresser on the bottom and a TV cabinet (with doors) on the top. This piece stores my flat panel TV, DVD player, cable box, and a small stereo and all the "dresser stuff." With Ryan and Debra's help, they designed the doors to be panels of speaker cloth. I provided the speaker fabric which allows me to close the doors but still play the stereo without seeing ANY of the equipment...my bedroom has a clean uncluttered look--no TV staring back when it's off. The top of the cabinet is custom designed by Ryan and Paco to hide a rope light which shines both up and down from the top but the source of the light is totally hidden! UFM also does custom finishing and I was able to put graphic designs on my desk. Rosemary Hedgecock was helpful with this detail. She is a true artist and helped me with the graphic designing of my custom desk. With Rosemary's help I was able to find the exact color I wanted. And with Rosemary's help, together we put "stars" as a graphic design on my desk and in the exact color I wanted. I had a lot of fun with Rosemary in this process. The desk is a work of art because of the custom color and stars! Debra in sales does a great job of coordinating all of the work and she is great about calling me to update where UFM is with respect to time for completion. Debra is so kind and friendly to work with...she is also great for input on the design process as she has an excellent eye for design as well. All of the staff is also very patient and was willing to go the extra mile to make my custom pieces exactly what I wanted and needed AND at a price that is great! So between Ryan, Rosemary, Debra, Paco and Ramon, I think anybody is guaranteed success in cabinet/furniture design. Give this company a try, I know they will do their best!
