Raphael Hardwood Flooring

This place is crazy. I called them for an estimate, I probably left 10 messages on their machine till someown called me back. Finally someone called me and they came out for estimate. The owner was suppose to email me the estimate and never recieved it. I have left 8 messages in a span of 3-4 weeks to see what happended. Have never recieved any response or call back. Waste of time and energy, thank God didnt go with them. Terrible service and no receptionist so dont count on a call back when you get their machine

Josh e-mailed me an estimate. I called and e-mailed several times to ask questions. No response. Saw him at a trade show, he told me to e-mail him and he would get right back to me. Still no response from him. I still have all his samples that he brought over but I can't reach him. I have since had the floors done by someone else.

Very clean & neat. On time, courteous, explained process as project developed, fixed all issues promptly. Very skilled.

They forgot to apply the finish on the hardwood floors and the floors got scratched. They didn't evenly sand the floors so they were left uneven.

The team came in and refinished 1100 sq. ft of flooring in four days. The floors were brought back to " like new" condition in a timely and professional fashion. There were no negative issues and included plenty of daily communication on progress. I would not hesitate using them again or recommending them to all others.

Raphael refinished the hardwood floors throughout the home in 2009 and did a great job at a great price. So, when I needed some more work done, of course I contacted them.This home is now a rental home and it sustained some water damage to the kitchen vinyl floor as well as the hardwood flooring in an adjacent hallway. I phoned Raphael to ask for an estimate to repair the wood flooring, fully intending to have them actually do the repairs. They responded immediately, which was good, but when the estimator went out to prepare the estimate, they looked at the kitchen vinyl flooring and provided an estimate for that, and did not even look at or estimate the wood flooring that was water damaged. I was emailed the estimate. When I emailed back saying I had asked for the wood flooring to be estimated, but was appreciative of the kitchen estimate (not even realizing they could replace vinyl flooring) I didn't receive a response. Today, I phoned the office asking why an estimate was prepared for the vinyl flooring replacement when I had specifically asked for the wood flooring to be estimated. I was told that it would be done today. Then I received an email from Raphael requesting a payment of $15.00 for the estimate! I phoned and left a message, and received a call back from Josh. He told me his time was worth at least that much, and that was the charge for completing the paperwork for insurance. I explained it was not an insurance claim, that I was paying out of pocket for the repairs. There were no apologies or explanations offered for why the wrong area of the home was assessed and estimated - just pay the $15 for the paperwork if you want the estimate done. Well, they are not doing the job! I think their attitude and business practice in this instance was rude and unprofessional. By the way, I live out of state and am trying to coordinate these repairs from a distance. This makes it all the more important that communication be clear and that I feel I can trust the workmen. In this case, neither was the case.

It went very well. The owner came out and gave the estimate. When the gentleman came to do the job he realized the job would take longer than initially thought. It took them two days to do the job with a quote of only one day and they did not try to charge for the second day. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
