P & J Custom Window Coverings

Description of Work: This company is based in Fresno CA but does business throughtout the state. The address listed on the orginal contract was 4714 E. HomeAv, Fresno CA 93703. You will see huge ads in local papers. I ordered 3 roman shades on Jan 31, 2011.After 5 weeks 2 of 3 were wrong; one was measured wrong and one was made wrong. Short version, it has taken 6 months, numerous phones calls, frustration beyond belief and I have 2 shades that are ok and one that is still wrong. I was told they would address the shade made incorrectly(there was a pinhole when the fabric was not properly attached to the blackout backing and one of the folds was sewn askew so it was puckered). when that the replacement for the measured wrong shade was delivered. The shade measured incorrectly was replaced after another 5 weeks. At the time the measured wrong shade was installed they removed the puckered shade. . I was told it had to be sent back "in order for us to get credit" that is not the customers problem that is their problem, but an indication that other vendors have issues with this company. The customer service is the worst you will ever encounter! Donna is rude and claims she has no control over anything but when asked for the name of the owners or someone with authority will not provide any information. . I waited another 4 weeks for P&J to send out the same exact shade that was made wrong!!!! I refused it and waited another 5 weeks and-you guessed it-they sent the same shade again..this time the installer had the nerve to look me in the face and say this was a new shade because he had personally put the other shade in the garbage and also said they do have lower prices!! Ahh so supposedly lower prices mean customers are to accept inferior quality--that isn't what their ad says. The quality and price were both about the same as other companies. Do not waste your time or money dealing with this company.
