Very professional service from the assessment through production. The GC was very helpful in pointing out problem areas and offering solutions. Pricing was very reasonable and staff friendly.

+ 1 moreA valve busted upstairs and leaked downstairs. The ceiling and walls downstairs were saturated. The restoration company came out and dried up the walls. NorCal fixed it all after. They were a State Farm preferred contractor. I did notice that the stains came through the paint so I called them back and they sent the painter back immediately. It was done well and I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Replace sheet rock, fix, patch, texture sheet rock, paint.

+ -1 moreVery arrogant. Not a good experience especially since he did not follow through on his promises.
Description of Work: Company was recommended by insurance adjuster for another opinion. Owner came out. He made comments like: I know what you need and I am going to tell you how to do it. He also said if we selected him h would be working for us not the insurance company. Promised quote would be sent directly to us and by a particular date. Quote was not received when promised. Spouse called owner several times and he would not speak directly with us but had someone else who worked for him talk with us. He said he sent quote to insurance company and we would need to get it from them. He was there to look at repairing and remodeling our kitchen following a water leak. He only took one measurement while there and we needed to have floors, cabinets and countertops replaced. All he did was take the insurance adjusters quote and make a few minor changes. I would not trust him since he took no measurements and promised to send us a quote and then only went directly to the insurance company. Just does not seem right.

+ 0 moreWe had had a house fire in 2008. We got this company through our insurance agency. And they were great. They have done a great job. I have used them since. They are very fair, reasonable, and nice. They are all my friends now. I can not say anything else good about them. They did everything from the plumbing to the building.
Description of Work: They rebuilt my house because of a fire.

+ 6 moreI found Norcal for a friend who had a condo fire 10 years ago and their work was excellent. When I had a fire Jan. 2012 I was quite pleased they were on the list of contractors approved by my insurance company. Although there were a few problems as would be expected during any home repairs, they addressed all of them and the job was completed to my satisfaction. The craftsmanship was excellent and they assisted me with some issues I had been having prior to the fire. All in all I believe my experience was about as trouble free as could ever be expected from any contractors. I am very happy they helped me with my home and wholeheartedly recommend them for any home repairs or improvements!
Description of Work: Repairs stemming from a kitchen fire were performed. This was painting, drywall, and cabinetry. I had additional work done which consisted of replacing tile, some drywall, a new entry door, and a new range hood. My project manager Tom Foley located an entry door for me that I love, as I had been looking for 2 months and unable to find something in my budget.
