Kerri Landscape Services

My job was small in scale for such a reputable landscape contractor, but regardless of size/scope they provide the best pricing and was able to work me in to their schedule within a week. We are very pleased with the work performed, the 'customer first' attitude displayed by their staff, and their extreme attention to detail to ensure the job was done right. I only wish I had consulted them in the past before attempting to dig my way out of yet another backyard improvement adventure...

We were very satisfied by the job done by Kerri Landscape to both our front & back yards. Erik did a good job with the landscape plan and Dave contacted us prior to the start of the work and stayed in touch through out the duration of the project. Finally, the expert work performed by Jorge Jr., Jorge Sr. and Kevin made it all come together. I appreciate the way they cleaned up every day (especially before Thanksgiving) and integrated the new landscape with the old. I have already recommended this company to my neighbors and will certainly consider Kerri for any additional work.

I gave Rich at Kerri Landscaping an open-ended (although small) job - I agreed to pay by the hour for as long as it took to get a job done (fixing a masony post by my driveway). He quoted 3 or 4 hours, and finsihed up charging me 3 hours flat. The work looks great, done reasonably quickly (I wasn't in a rush), for the low end of the price range that was quoted, with no payment up front. I couldn't be happier. I was having a problem getting anyone to fix this because it was just a small repair instead of a big construction job, but Kerri Landscapign really came through. When I eventuallyget around to some real landscapign o my back yard, he will be at the top of my list. I'd have no problem hiring Kerri Landscape Services again, and probably will.

This was an extremely well managed project with a end result product that is stunning. Rich Kerri and I had a no-nonsense contract that spelled out all the conditions of the project: Final quote, payment phases/timeframe for payment due. I was provided a CAD drawing of the plan, along with plant placement per location and a list of all plant types and gallon sizes they would be planting. Nothing was left ambiguous, every requirement was defined. If you have a question, you have direct email access to the owner. If you have a change, you have direct access to the owner. If you choose to call, you talk to an internal business manager who is well aware of the current in-process jobs (including yours) and can field your questions with high knowledge and offer resolution. My project time duration was 17 days and based on what I perceived in my daily discussions with the on-site supervisor, they had every event/action in the process scripted for each day of work. No time was wasted. Precise start time of work every day (always 7:00 am), precise time for demoltion (jackhammer) work, plenty of heads-up time given to the client for neighbor notification...They used high quality subcontractors (example: Kerri said they would start concrete pour at 7:30 am on a specific day - the concrete pumper was there at 7:25 am and the mixer truck arrived at 7:30 SHARP!). The all-around building materials and concete itself are high-grade and the finish work when laid was top-shelf. Day-to day productivity was excellent. Everytime I stepped out the door (I usually left them alone, only coming out only to make my way to my car for work), the Supervisor (Jorge Rios) made himself available for any question I had. If I did stop with a question, all workers shut down any machine-operated devices immediately without prompting, so there was no noise to talk over. I never had an issue, but if I did, I got every impression they wanted to know exactly what, where and how and then to make every effort to insure my satisfaction. I had some custom touches done, including a "Stonemakers Wall". Jorge personally sculpted the wall and chose the coloring. The work was absolutely flawless. My expectation is to contiue with Kerri Landscaping, assigning them to re-landscaping my back yard. I have a timetable of 12-18 months for a call back to Mr. Kerri in turning the first shovel of dirt on that project. As an experienced homeowner whose had work done by Lanscape contractors in the past, I've found Kerri Lanscaping to be the best high quality value in the Tri-Valley. Without hesitation, I endorse their work. I've been extremely satisfied with how they worked with me and the results they produced.

On time. Started and finished each day when they said they would. Cleaned up every day. Design fit our yard to a tee. Helped answer questions even after work was done and final payment made. Contract was clear. Everything went well.

Took a long time to get consult with him. Perhaps my fault since did not push him. Then took several more weeks before he was able to do the job. Did a REALLY nice job, though, once he got here.

Being new homeowners, we tried to do our front yard ourselves due to cost. Big mistake, we ended up hiring Kerry Landscaping to fix the mess we made and of course we have had no problems. On the rare occasion that something breaks like a sprinkler problem, all it took was one phone call and Kerry Landscaping co. Would be there right away to take care of the issue. Very friendly, professional, company to work with and with excellent results.

He did seem nice, but his price was pretty high,he listented to what I said but he didn't talk to very much at the time of the estimate. The drawing of the estimate was hard to read with small print and only a half sheet of paper. I also wanted to save some plants in the back but he wanted to remove these for a fence, he didn't seem to want to compromise with me at all on this.

We were very pleased with the results of our redoing our back yard landscape. Jenna did a great job in design and selection of plants. Jim and Juan supervised the project which took four days. Juan was on site everyday with two of their people. Some minor changes were made as the project was being done. Some we asked for, some Juan suggested, all to our satisfaction. They cleaned up every day and really made the project and surrounding area look great when they completed the project. Juan took his time at the completion of the job to take us around and point out everything that was done and why, down to the irrigation schedule. We are very happy with the results.

Everything has gone very well and would recommend them.

The plans that the lady made were really nice and she did a really good job. It was very professionally done. She took all my suggestions into consideration. She came out and she really looked. She really spent time with me listening to what I had to say and what I wanted. She then put the plan together based on that. My front yard was in a pretty bad shape and she did a really nice job putting the plan together. I asked her for a ballpark figure as I was asking some other people too; I had some other estimates. So she gave me a ballpark figure but I had to put it off simply because financially I wouldn’t be able to do it. If I could afford it, I would definitely do it. Her responsiveness was fabulous. I found her on Angie’s List and I emailed her. She called me back right way within five to six hours. Her response time was really nice. She worked with me as far as when we could get together and when she could come out and look at it. She was very accommodating. My schedule was really tight and she just didn’t worry about it. She came out on a Saturday morning or something like that and it was not a problem. She was very punctual, spot on. She was very professional. I would definitely consider using her in the future.

They had all the driveway done and complete before we left for vacation. he wanted to be sure it was what we wanted. We left while they finished the rest of the landscaping, Rich Kerri check ed on it while gone and sent us pictures or questions through text/email. Rich was a very patient man, we started with him back in October 2011, we finally decided on what we could afford and wanted, so when we finally finalized and deposited with him it took about 2 months before he could start. We drug our feet or it would of been done sooner. We love what has been done, his crew was very nice and considerate. Cleaned up everyday before they left. We liked that he was also local where we lived, so he knows the area well too. We would recommend Kerri Landscape for any landscaping needs. We will use him for our back yard when we are ready.

They are excellent. I have used him off and on for 7 years

It was very good for the work that they did. I did not go with them in the end with the price that was quoted. We just did not want to spend the money in the end.

Rich Kerri provided a clear estimate. His crew of 3 was on site for 7 working days, showing up promptly each day at 0715, as scheduled. The work was done in a most professional manner. They went out of their way to accommodate us in last-minute details. We were very pleased with the results and would use their services in the future. I recommend them to anyone. BTW, I had 2 bids for this work, and Rich Kerri's bid was a much better value.

Their products were good. Overall, they were excellent. I would use them again for an estimate in the future.

I placed a request on the website and within 1 hour someone responded back to me. While I did not have any work done or an estimate I wanted to comment on the person's honesty. They are completely booked up until the end of September 2011. That's how good they are. Most companies just want the money and don't tell you up front their availibility. The man who called me back was up front and honest and said he wouldn't be able to help me with my service inquiry/request for landscaping until September. I appreciated that and if the opportunity arises I would inquire about their services again.

It was a free estimate. They didn't pay off a lot of attention. I think they thought it was too smaller job to pay the attention. They need to improve on their attitude. I think they are good, but I think they think that are pretty good. I have them come out one other time previous to that, and they give me an estimate for an overall backyard plan. It was a verbal estimate again, and I think they felt that it was too small for them to be bothered with. They took really long time to get back to me. They were punctual and professional.

I have worked with them many times in the past, and I have found them to be great. I will call them when I need some landscaping work done. I am happy wit them. I would definitely recommend them to others.

It took 3 guys almost 6 weeks so it was very extensive. They started in October and finished in December. They knew what they were doing and seemed to be pretty competent. They were anxious to talk about that they were doing and get my concurrence on where they were headed. There was an absence of surprises and they knew what they were doing. Their level of competence was good. Nothing is perfect but they were very close. They were probably a little on the higher side but I didn't shop around. If I had any more money I would hire them again. They were a pleasure to find.

She was here for two hours or so. She really took her time and listened to us. She was very clear and patient. I thought she was really good.

The backyard of my 100-year-old downtown home was a 'blasted heath'. Hard-packed dry dirt and weeds. It was an eyesore. Rich bid on another job for me, so I called him to look at my backyard. The whole experience was fabulous. Emily came and talked with me, and came up with a terrific plan. Rich and his crew implemented it perfectly. The plants they chose have lived and thrived despite my benign neglect. I call Rich for occasional clean-up and if I want to replace a plant. He treats my little jobs as carefully and courteously as if were a golf-course instead of a little garden. Kerri Landscape Service is my favorite supplier. I will use them again and again.

They have a three year guarantee on their work. I would use them again and everything went fine. They will come out and fix your problem within three years.

We're very happy with the work Rich and crew did for our yard. We were having a pool put in and he was recommended by our pool builder. We went over the budget and our overall design with Rich and he came back with a design that was very reasonable and incorporated lighting, a drip watering system and a new lawn. We also liked the plants he chose - all very waterwise and colorful. His crew consisted of his main foreman Nacho who was extremely helpful in going over the work and helped out in choosing sites for specific plants. They all showed up for work punctually and before leaving every day cleaned up the work space and placed tools in a portable shed they park in front of our house. All the work was done on time and any problems were dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. Overall we're very happy with his work and if we have future landscaping needs, we won't hesitate to have them do it.
