The owner of Halco (Hal) also provides the estimate. He's very punctual and easy to contact by phone. The supervisor on the job is also very responsive and answered any questions I had during the job. Instead of removing the old composite shingles that had been recently installed over a bay window, they chose to just put the new shingle over the top. I told Hal that I didn't like the look of it, and he personally removed all of the shingles and made it right. Hal also noticed that there was moisture getting in around my chimney. He suggested that he should install a camel (at additional cost). I was slightly hesitant, but went ahead with it. I recently had a contractor giving me a painting quote, and he remarked that the camel was unusual in that most roofers wouldn't have done it. He indicated it was a mark of a good job. After the job was complete, I thought I heard dripping on the inside of the house. Their supervisor came out that week, and checked it out. It turns out it was just dripping on a new downspout. Halso also recommended a contractor to finish the inside of the skylights. I hired the guy, but he did an awful job. I was forced to redo half of what he did. I can't count that against Halco. The part they did was done well. I was very happy, and still am happy with the job done by Halco.
