He was really knowledgeable. The one that he didn’t do for us that we would have wanted him to do was to seal off some of the areas where the mouse could get in. He got rid of the problem and he collected all of his traps. We saw evidence again and we hired a different company because we have a senior guarantee. For additional money, I think he would give us a guarantee. He knows a lot about pest but if you’re looking for a permanent solution, he may not be the best to use. Our overall experience was good. He did what he said he was going to do.

I spoke with Karen who was very professional and helpful. We set an appointment for the next day. A while later, Craig called and said he was in the area and he could come by that day. Great! He checked around, asked questions, and determined it was rats. He set traps, came back two weeks later, found the culprit, and returned two weeks after that and found no activity. He did everything he said he would do, plus both he and Karen were very pleasant. They are the only ones I will call if I ever need these services again.

Craig was easy to get a hold of, scheduled our appointment quickly and came out to see our problem. Although it didn't end up being something he could help us with, he gave us helpful tips to try to address the critter trying to get into our attic.

The gentleman was punctual. He was very businesslike and a very hard worker. He informed me of where he put the traps and clearly explained what he was doing. He laid down a few traps and said that he will come back in a few weeks and take a look at them. I felt the price was fair compared to the other estimates I had received.

I think the most amazing thing was that I got service less than an hour after I called. I think it was partly lucky timing, but still....a lot of places wouldn't even pick up the phone that quickly. Craig, one of the owners, came to do the service and was friendly and professional. He pointed out where the colonies were, and made sure to ask if I had pets or children before putting the poison bait in the cracks. They have a 60 day guarantee against ants inside the house. (Trails, not just individual stragglers, which makes perfect sense to me.) They don't require a regular service like some of the bigger outfits do, but they offer a quarterly service that's very affordable. Craig asked if I wanted to wait and see if we needed it, but it's been an ongoing battle with the ants since we moved in so I told him to sign us up. Two thumbs up!

The problem immediately appeared to be solved, however as is the case with ants in the Bay Area, they were soon back. Of course this was over Thanksgiving, so I took care of a few remaining problem areas with the supply of ant bait that Craig had left for me. Unfortunately, two weeks later, the ants were back with a vengeance. Craig was at my home within a hour of my calling him. He did a thorough inspection, even went into the crawl space and found a large nest of ants. He quickly dispatched them and I haven't seen an ant since. This second trip was free of charge. I will be using Around the Bay on a quarterly basis to prevent ants from overtaking my house.

It was great. They were really responsive. They dealt with the problem really quickly. The person who I dealt with was the owner, so it was nice to work with someone who knew what they were talking about. He explained everything as he went, so I felt like I knew what was going on. I would definitely recommend him.

He showed up early and sprayed all over for ants with the product that he thought would work best. Very professional. I will definately use them again!

They call to remind me when service is due. They have a very personal touch. Their personal service and reliability are what we like the most. There is no contract required and I have no problems with ants. We have been using them for over seven years.
