Unfortunately, because the dryer and washer are both on one large platform, they would have needed to charge extra in labor to do the job. They explained to me how easy it is to do it myself, if I can get my husband to do the labor of moving the dryer to get behind it; and they said I should get a refund from Angie's List since they couldn't do the work. They were very nice and courteous, I appreciated their honesty and advice, and I plan to use their services later on to do some duct cleaning in the house.

Dan came out and checked the air flow on the dryer and the vent. He stated that the air flow was fine and he felt the vent and dryer was okay. He told me to get with Angie's List for a full refund.

Dan Ganas with The Duct Cleaning Pros cleaned my air ducts and he did an outstanding job. He and his partner were very professional and worked extremely hard. They did a very thorough job and I am so pleased with their work. I got 5 other quotes and Dan was the most reasonable by far.

He was very professional. I think he did the job well. He was supposed to order filters for me and he hasn't done that yet. I e-mailed him about the filters and he called me back and said he would do it but no response yet. He simply cares about his work. Make sure he writes down what he says he will order.

Some unexpected costs but they were explained and I understood the reasons behind them.

Went well. Realized I let this go too long. Additional charges were requested for cleaning the roof vent on a two story house and replacing the connection duct behind the dryer.

They came out and inspected the vent system which for me, goes through the interior walls and over the garage between the upper and lower floors and outside. Quite a lot of vent pipe and turns. They have a special machine just for doing this kind of work. It's a large vacuum that has multiple motors so they don't need a big 220v outlet to run it. It has a rotating brush on a flexible shaft like a plumbers snake that goes through a fitting on the vacuum connection to the vent pipe and brushes the inside while the vacuum sucks it out. It did a fine job as far as I can tell. I have had no issues and my clothes are drying quickly.

It went well. He's on business, got out there and was able to do it, and I didn't want him to walk on the roof because it's tiled and he cooperated with that and did a really good job without walking on the roof. He was professional.

Alex was on time and professional. The work was explained and completed, with good clean up of work area.

They did a good job and we were impressive how effective they were. They try to kill all the bacteria and that was probably a waste of money too. I wasn't too pleased for the additional charge. The also volunteered to do extra work for the rain gutters but they didn't come back to repair what they need to repair.

He said that Angie’s list was responsible for the way it was advertised. And for them to come to the inspection was $69, then if I needed a new vent tube which everybody does because the minute it was taken off, it is ruined, it has to be replaced and that is extra money which they should have included in the total price. I found the add rather deceptive. I probably will not buy it again basing from that knowledge. The worker was just fine. Everything was fine as far as professionalism and the job was done. The only problem I had was the way it was advertise that was not really the case. He assured me that this was due to the way Angie’s List corporate told him to do. I would use them again as long as they tell the real price.

It was fine. It went okay. They were on time and discussed everything with me. I would recommend them. The cost was reasonable and they did a good job and right on time.

We got the $59 special for cleaning our dryer duct. Turns out the rates were higher because it came out the roof. It was disconnected so we ended up building a shorter dryer duct exit which helped in the long run. We were talked into more services, such as gutter cleaning. That ended being a huge mess. They left a mess all over the yard including their own personal trash. The dryer guard that came through the outside wall looks unprofessionally sealed. The work could have been neater and the debris could have been cleaned up much better. They also showed up an hour late. We would not use them again. Dan arrived on time and got right down to business. He cleaned the vent from inside the house, then climbed on the house to clean it from the top down as well. There was quite a blockage apparently (not too surprising as it had been quite a while since the last cleaning) but he was easily able to resolve the problem. He also found that the hose was improperly attached to the bib that connected it to the vent leading to the roof. He was able to fix that issue and now the hose is securely attached, as it should be. After he completed the work, he made sure the work area was cleaned nicely. I highly recommend Dan from The Duct Cleaning Pros -- and will be calling him again when the time comes for another cleaning!

They service worked out fine. They came and did the job that we asked them to do. They told us about some other things that they do, but we didn't exercise any of them. The price of the big deal was perfect.

Scheduling was good and they were able to accommodate me. One technician came out for the gutter cleaning and he finished in two hours. He did a fine job.

I had to pay for the having the actual vent replaced. He had to replace it because it was not an aluminum vent. I didn't expect to have to pay for the replacement of the product. He brought a huge machine in here to clean out the back of the dryer. The man was very nice and I'm glad I had it done.

cleaned air ducts and i bought filters from company. only takes few hours and ducts get very clean i pulled apart attic furance to clean coil and blower unit found blower clean which suprised me too see it clean since place was rental and not cleaned for at least 15 yrs. i wish coil in plemun looked as good that did look like 15 years of dirt.i was happy with service and would use them again.

Showed up 45 min late which was ok. Couldn't find where dryer vented to outside. Finally found other side of roof peak and discovered had to remove cover to complete job. He explained and asked if I wanted it done. Ended up costing $60 additional and put on replaceable cover so no extra charge next time. Had needed to reschedule due to truck/equipment being stolen. Was prompt in contacting and scheduling once that was resolved.

I purchased a $79 deal for gutter cleaning. They never called me for appt. It was indicated that they would. I finally called them. I immediately got the upsell for dryer duct cleaning, which I purchased. They set up time between 3 and 4 and arrive 15 min. Late there was supposed to be 2 servicemen one for each service. I needed to leave at 4:50, but the guy was still cleaning dryer duct so I had to figure out who could do what I had planned to do at 450. He spent a lot of time trying to sell me more stuff. From new duct work to air duct cleaning. Then once on gutters, still trying to sell more cleaning. I felt very uncomfortable. The serviceman left crap on playhouse and windows from gutter cleaning and did not turn the gas back on the dryer. I was not happy. On the plus side, the owner/ manager called me on Sunday to come fix dryer, but only gave me a one hour window to come fix it. He had left me a message at 9:15 that he would be in the area for 1 hour. I missed that time frame and my husband ended up fixing problem. We have a stackable washer and we had to pull it out. It was more difficult and unnecessary if guy did job correctly in the first place. Do not hire this company. It is not worth it!

3/31/14 - Work is still not completed. The owner now says I owe more money for the filters. The Angie's list receipt stated the filters would be $60 each if purchased at the time of service instaed of $89 each. I did purchase 3 filters plus had 2 extra vents serviced ($12 each but he agreed to discount to $10 each) and I wrote a separate check to him ($252.43 on Feb 2, 2014) besides what I paid up front to Angie's List. The total I have paid out is $431 and now he says I owe more money ($100) in order to get the last 2 filters he had to order because they were not in his stock. In our conversation March 30th, he did not appreciate my review and was angry that I mentioned his son in my review. He said I wasn't understanding of his difficulties with equipment failure and a theft that occured of his equipment during this time frame. I think I have been very patient and tried to work with him through his difficulties but now expect to get the job done. It has been almost 3 months since we started this process and I have been more than patient and understanding of his difficulties. I had to contact him to ask where my other filters were. I do not appreciate that he doesn't remember who I am, what I ordered and does not seem very organized in his way of doing business. I would just like to get what I paid for and be done with his business. I feel he owes me money and was over charging me for the filters. $60 x 3 = $180 + $20 (2 extra vents) = $200. I paid $252.43 already. How do I owe $100 more ???? April 2. I did receive my 2 filters yesterday. He emailed me to apologize. He said that he found the invoice & I did pay him in full. He left the filters on my porch. I will not use him again.

I have used this service twice, once for gutter cleaning and once for dryer vent cleaning. The service they performed was fine. The only problem was that both times I had to clean up after them. They left leaves and dirt on my patio furnature when they cleaned the gutters, and they left lint all over in the garage near the door to the laundry room. I have never had to clean up after a service before. Funny thing is, I complained to him about the problem with the gutter cleaning, and they still failed to clean up after the dryer vent cleaning.
