Very nice & polite, always on time, closed in a large 12' x 12' space with a new wall, installed a beautiful very large french door, moved electrical, installed siding inside and out, insulated wall, painted inside and out. We were very pleased with Scott's work and plan to hire him in the future for other projects.

Absolutely awesome. Easy to work with and fair. Mcqueen construction was one of several contractors I contacted for a bid. There were two contractors I felt comfortable with and confident that the result would be good. (Fingers crossed). For some reason I felt Scott would be someone I felt comfortable with and could work with. They removed my 20+ year old deck and spent 2 days shoring up the superstructure, leveling, measuring, etc. , and came up with some options of how best to install a new trex deck and not waste boards. From then on the work, the effort to complete the job, the willingness to communicate was what I hoped for. The result was great. Couldnâ t be happier and would highly recommend them for any job that requires a contractor.

Scott is super communicative, extremely fair priced, and despite us running into many hiccups and unforeseen challenges, he didn't make us feel bad for wanting it done the way we wanted it (aka the hard way!). We hired Scott McQueen to totally renovate our existing barn, a very challenging project. We recently purchased this ranch property. The existing barn was quite old, probably built 50 years ago or more. Scott developed a plan to totally renovate it -- new trusses, new concrete floor (previously was just a dirt floor), new roofing, new siding, new electrical, new paint, new and strengthened interior walls, new doors, etc. Unfortunately we tackled the project at a time of high prices for materials and other elements, but Scott worked with us to significantly reduce costs from the original estimate by redesigning some elements of the plan and working with us to explore alternatives. We couldn't be happier with the renovation.

We hired McQueen Construction to remodel our two story home. This was a big project that we planned about 5 years for. We interviewed 12 contractors during that time and ultimately chose Scott's company. Some of the reasons included that our friends and their family used Scott on a similar scope job and they were happy with their experience. Scott's price was fair and competitive. Some of the larger companies have a ton of overhead that we ultimately would have paid for. The larger companies, with their bigger crews, would have likely finished our job quicker but I am not sure the attention to detail would have been the same. We liked that McQueen is a local family-owned business who was flexible with what we were wanting to do. They didn't come in saying this is how is has to be done. My wife, kids, and I lived at the house during the remodel (not sure if we would do that again) :) Scott and his crew accommodated us really well. Communication is key with any construction project. I did find myself asking a lot of questions and being sure Scott, his subs, and I were on the same page. This was not a bad thing, it was merely what I came to understand as the best way to work with Scott and his guys. In my opinion, you cannot over communicate with your contractor. If you assume things are going to be done a certain way, your contractor might have something else in mind. That leaves room for error and frustration. I appreciated how Scott was receptive to my questions and being sure things were done how we were expecting. Scott and his guys also asked us a lot of questions so that the job turned out like we wanted. It was a really good partnership. Most of Scott's subs were very good. Great people and great quality work. I did use some of my own subs and Scott seamlessly integrated them into the work flow. We found Scott to be very responsive to any calls, texts, emails before, during, after the project was completed. We are thrilled with how our house turned out! It is a total transformation and exceeded our expectations. We would hire McQueen Construction again and have recommended them to our friends.

We are extremely happy with the work done by McQueen Construction and would not hesitate to call them back for any future work. We started with one bathroom remodel and were so happy we had them do the other one as well and some work in our kitchen. The quality and attention to detail is wonderful. Scott and his team are easy to work with and value the customer the good, old-fashioned, way. Consistency with honesty and follow-through were always present. Happy that he came so highly recommended and we can certainly see why. I would encourage everyone to call him for their projects. He will not disappoint; he is first class.

We are very pleased with our upstairs remodel. The process went smoothly and we love the way it all turned out. They do excellent work and really pay attention to the details. Our tile installation was very complex and Bryon McQueen and his helper Michael did an amazing job! We were very impressed with the subs they used as well. They are trustworthy and pleasant to work with and a joy to have in our home. I would feel comfortable referring them on any project.

Great people to work with. They kept me up to date on material delivery, explained in detail how the project was going to be completed and kept the job site clean and organized.

Overall we had a really good experience with McQueen Construction. Scott was very professional and he managed the project really well. It was a very tight budget and even tighter timeline for the build and they completed everything in record time within our budget, which was incredible. We did a full house remodel in two phases, including demo, new walls, ceilings, flooring, new gourmet kitchen, an expanded master bath, basically a new house and Scott did a great job at a fair price. He's very honest and professional and I have already recommended him to friends and family.

The contractor is an experienced builder, not just a landscaper that dabbles in decks. So this project replaced an old section of deck with new redwood construction while integrating it into two remaining sections of deck, modifying the design, and adding a shade structure. McQueen Construction worked with me in keeping costs reasonable while achieving a substantial quality upgrade. They used a new tool (Camo) for screwing down the deck boards that results in good spacing and invisible screws. Really nice job. I would use them again.
