+ 0 moreKen is basically a crook. We had a bathroom remodel done for our family friend who had ALS, a veteran, Ken quoted 21k for this bathroom remodel which our dear friend paid in advance. Our friend died before Ken finished the job which took months! Ken took every opportunity to cut corners, the bathroom is functional but should have never took 21k or months to complete. He threatened to fight one of our family members when called out on his poor attention to detail and failure to contact us, call us back or be on-site. It was a terrible experience dealing with him to say the least. The bathroom does work still, however, he is the worst to deal with did not finish the job timely, and I suspect since he had the money already, he felt no obligation to our job anymore because there was money to be made elsewhere on his "other jobs" I'm only writing this on behalf of our dear friend who never got to use his 21k ADA shower room. RIP Wally!

Description of Work: I called KC construction company asking for a quote on minor remodel projects. He responded back after a few hours and said he can stop by my house on his way home from another job. He showed up when he said he would but after a valuating the work that needed to be done, he then asked me what kind of budget did I have in mind. When I told him the amount I thought was fair he seemed excited. The amount I mentioned was $700 and at the end of our conversation he thought I said $7000. After I informed him that there is no way this job could ever cost $7000 he said give me two days and I will give you a up-to-date quote. I've waited one week to hear back from him which I never did. It makes me wonder how somebody could have such a extreme amount in mind for the little work to be performed. By not hearing back from him at all makes me question this contractors motives and professionalism. This contractor and I live just miles apart I was hoping to keep the business in town but after seeing how he does business I would never recommend him at all.

+ 0 moreHe is outstanding. Everything that he has done in our home is above and beyond. I can't say highly enough how much he did that was exemplary. He is an electrician and he does everything. He is the best. I recommend him extremely highly. In fact we were so impressed that we sent him a gift card to let him know that in addition to paying him, we wanted him to know how much we appreciated the professionalism. I am someone who if it is wrong, I will be very critical and I will tell people that this person is not good, and I also enjoy telling people someone is good if he is. I would use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I used the services of KC Construction Company. He put fan in our bedroom, insulation in our attic, did our vents, put lights in the garage, added a wall socket when we needed an additional socket and to add another outlet. He did all our Christmas decorations.
