Brad showed up right on time, and he and his crew wrapped up a significant amount of work in a very short amount of time. They cleaned everything up, and hauled off the remains of seven large trees, several smaller trees, and some bushes. He also trimmed up my live oak. Extremely professional, totally efficient, and a pleasure to work with. If I had any more trees in my yard, I'd definitely use his services again.

They were great. Brad was really responsive. We had to put the work off several days because of ran, but he came out right away to provide an estimate. I think he gave me a fair estimate for all the work that was going to be done. Once they did the work, they did a great job, got it all done in a day, cleaned up & hauled everything away. Everything looks a lot better. He & his team were great to work with.

We had a big oak tree near the house that had gotten too big, was lifting the sidewalk and had busted the irrigation pipes. As nice as it was, it was time for it to go. In addition, we had another medium sized oak and a privet also near the house that needed to go. Brad came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate. In addition to the tree removals, he also trimmed up a couple of oaks. He and his crew were very professional, and cleaned up the area beautifully. Everything went very smoothly and we would definitely have him out for additional tree work.

Brad was punctual when he came out to do the estimate and again when he came to do the job. He completed the job in a very timely manner and did an excellent job. I only had him do the tree in the front of the house. I will be calling his company again when it's time to do the backyard as well.

I spoke with Brad Webb, the owner of Capital Tree Service a few times on the phone before settng up an appointment for an estimate. He was very prompt and professional during the estimate and actually came in with the lowest bid. He even included some trees in the estimate that I had initially not considered. He was very knowledgable. After I accepted his bid we did have to postpone the work initially due to weather but we rescheduled for March 2nd and he responded promptly to all of my calls during the interrim. On the scheduled day, I had arranged to come out to the property at 9:00 a.m. When I arrived, the work was already well underway. Brad showed me what they had accomplished and made sure that he understood exactly what my expectations were. He had initially estimated it would be a days worth of work, I arranged to come back around noon in case his crew needed to use the bathroom. When I returned, the work was already done. Brad took me around to show me the results and everything we had discussed had ben done. All of the large branches had been cut into easily splittable rounds. Everything else had been shredded and left in a single large pile. It looked great. I really have nothing but good things to say about Brad and Capital Tree Service. I will definitely use him for any work I need done in the future. He is a businessman with great integrity and ethics. I highly recommend him to my fellow Angie's List Members.

We had used Capital Tree Service before at our personal residence, and were pleased with their workmanship and reliability.They provided a written estimate for removing a tree from the front yard of a rental property we own, and they had it done within a few days of giving them authorization to proceed. We were not at the property to observe the work being done, but the tenant was pleased with the speed with which they performed the work and their clean-up of all debris following the tree removal. The stump was ground down below the surface so that there's no stump sticking up in the yard.

They arrived on time, reviewed the job with us one more time before starting the work, were very careful when cutting the large branches not to hit our house or our neighbors' properties, completed the job in about 3 hours (as he had previously indicated during the estimate), and cleaned up every bit of debri. We are very pleased with the results. He also gave us some tips for future tree trimming and taking care of our trees. We'll hire him again and definitely recommend him to others. Brad's excellent service + great work ethic + outstanding cleanup job = one happy customer!

They were very professional from beginning to end. All debris was cleaned up, and arrived on time. I couldn't believe how quickly they completed the job. One of the trees was a huge silk tree. It had dropped tons of spent blossoms on my roof. They volunteered to clean off the roof and clean the gutters. I was really glad to have that done. I did indeed pay them for the extra work. By the way, that was included in what I paid them. They were truely mazzing!

Overall, they did an excellent job. They cleaned up. They did not have a cherry picker but they had a man that easily scaled the trees and was very knowledgable. I interviewed 7 different companies and then called Capital and negotiated what they were to do and got my estimate. He negotiated the price to 1,100 and that's why I went with them. Each company I went through a checklist of what I wanted done and I went with Capital because I could afford them. They did all the work, it was a 3 man crew. When they finished, the guy that owns Capital, had asked for more money. He said he felt that they had did such a good job that they should get more money. My husband agreed with it, however I didn't. I had to re-write the check for 1,200. The only thing he did different was he took a small bush out that I could of done myself.

1. Arrived at 8am ready to work. 2. Moved items at risk from falling limbs. 3. Immediately began climbing and trimming. (it is fun to watch) 4. Ground crew removed trimmings that fell as workers trimmed the tree. 5. Ground crew ground roots in the yard. 6. Proceeded to climb major limbs and trimming small braches. 7. Kept piling braches covering 3-car driveway away from the house. 8. Raked up leaves and small braches. 9. Chipped big pile of debris. 10. Took it all away. 11. Rang door bell to settle the bill around lunch time.

They arrived exactly on time for the orignal meeting to provide an estimate. The estimated cost was exactly what I was charged when the work was performed. They apparently had someone cancel so they offered me the option to have them perform the work at my house one week prior to what was originally scheduled, which was very nice. They completely cleaned the areas where they worked and the work appears to have been performed flawlessly. One thing I was impressed with was that one of the trees in my back yard has mistletoe I was unaware of that they noticed. However, rather than trying to "up sell" me to have it removed, he examined the tree and informed me that there was a less than 50% chance that the tree would survive even if the misletoe was removed. He left the decision up to me and I decided to not have him remove the misltetoe from that tree at this time. I appreciated that there was no effort to convince me to perform work beyond what I wanted performed. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs tree trimming performed.

The pricing estimate from Tree Pros was the most affordable of all the tree service providers that we received estimates from. Tree Pros was very responsive initially. They came out first thing in the morning (the day after I selected their bid) and removed the palm tree. They worked quickly and efficiently to remove the tree, and I was impressed with how careful they were in avoiding impacts to our landscaping while doing the work. They cleaned up the yard well and picked up all the palm fronds from the lawn. The stump grinding machine broke down and it took them another 2 days to come out and finish that job, but again, they worked quickly and professionally. When it came to planting the new tree, however, I was frustrated by the lack of communication on the part of Tree Pros - I had to contact them numerous times over a period 2 weeks to check on the status of this contract component (they never called me to update). Further, I received conflicting information on the schedule and was consistently told that they would plant the tree "the next day," but the work was constantly pushed out again and again over a two week period. One person informed me after over a week that no tree had been ordered. Finally, after more than 2 weeks, Tree Pros came and planted the new tree. I am satisfied with the work, but the process was frustrating and made me question their professionalism and customer service. Given their general responsiveness to the first task items, their competitive pricing, and professional and quick work, I would recommend Tree Pros for tree removal and stump grinding services, but may not recommend them for further landscaping work.

Wonderful experience from start to finish!

I have a large mulberry tree between my neighbor's and my driveways. It's roots have caused buckling of my driveway, making it look like an earthquake had hit. I'm planning to replace the driveway, and wanted to know if the whole tree would have to be taken out to prevent this from happening again. In my backyard, a California Pepper tree was uprooted in the recent storms. And my neighbor's tree on the side of my house has branches overhanging my roof. I spoke to Brad on the phone, and we set up an appointment for him to come by, assess the job and give me an estimate. He was here on time and very professional. He advised me that the mulberry didn't have to be removed. Rather, the roots can be ground up and a root barrier installed during the driveway replacement. He gave me an estimate of the job: pruning the mulberry and the tree on the side of the house and removing the California Pepper, leaving the stump. I felt that his estimate was very fair. I called him to schedule the job. I preferred that the work be done on a Monday (I don't work on Mondays), but that's the day Brad and his crew do maintenance on their equipment. We agreed that he'd do it on Tuesday 4/12. He called on Monday and asked if we could move the date to Wednesday. I agreed. While I was at work, Brad called a couple of times to update me on the work and to let me know when it was done. He wanted me to be there to check out the job with him, and to pay him. But I was unable to leave work. He agreed to return to my house after I got home from work. When I got home, I checked everything out and was very pleased. Brad and his crew did a very good job. He called at about 5:20, saying he couldn't make it back to my house and did I approve of the work? I told him I was very satisfied, and he took a credit card payment over the phone.

Brad Webb (owner) came out to my house the same day I called him for an estimate. He was very punctual, professional, and his price was competative. Brad and his team were very tidy and cleaned up the branches etc. as they went along. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and I definitely use Capital Tree Service again. They did a great job!

Called for an estimate and they came out the same day to provide one. The very next day the trees were removed, shredded, then the crew cleanned up the area where the trees were removed and where the shredding was done. Professional all the way.

We called and left a message to get an estimate to cut down a Chinese Tallow tree the morning of March 9. The owner Brad Webb called soon after that and made an appointment for the afternoon between 3 and 4 to give us an estimate. He was here right on time. The tree was located along the side of the yard and it would have been difficult and messy to remove the cut pieces to the front yard because we have a couple of patio areas. It was decided to just cut the tree into sections and pile them in the yard and we did not want to remove the stump. He gave us an estimate of $390. This is a very tall tree, approximately 45 feet tall, and after having a couple of other shorter trees removed by different companies this seemed like a reasonable price. He set the date for March 11 between 10 and 12. The three young men arrived before 10am with all the trucks and equipment they would need. Before they started we asked Brad about the Elm tree, there were a couple of major branches that were beginning to hang over the roof of the house. He suggested just doing it at this time and reccommended which two branches to cut at a price of $200. It was worth it just to keep my husband from getting up on the roof to remove the leaves at the end of the year. They cut the Chinese Tallow first, using ropes as we had a shed near by and the neighbors house was near the fence line. They had even moved a pot and a composter that were in the way. My husband stayed outside and watched, some company's don't like that, he was just interested because the tree was so tall, but they were very nice about it. They piled the top part of the tree in one area and cut the trunk in workable sizes in another. When it came time to cut the Elm tree branches they even covered my small pond to protect it. They didn't damage any of the plants and were done in about 2 hours. Brad even gave my husband some information on what to use on the stump so we wouldn't get alot of suckers or growth. We are very pleased with them and the work they did.

Brad came and provided an professional and very competitive estimate (one of three estimates) and was about $200 less expensive for the same work which surprised my wife and I. He seemed pretty busy (Nov - Dec) so we had to arrange the work about two weeks out. After setting up time up he and a coworker arrived on time, did the work quickly and efficiently is the estimated time frame and overall did a great job. I wanted to learn from the whole experience and they happily answered my questions while doing the work. Brad seemed very honest too. Another company said that the pruning needed to be yearly, so I was happy to hear Brad say I could wait a few years before thinning the trees again or could do it myself with the right tools. They even cleaned up leaves in the back yard that had already been piling up. Trees look great now and we couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend Capital Tree Service to anyone in the area needing some tree work!

The trees look much better and the clean-up was great! They even blew-off the neighbors cars to clean the off the dust. I was impressed. I plan to use this company again in the future.

I had a great experience with this company. The owner came out and gave me a very fair estimate. He scheduled my work to be done quickly because he knew I needed it done so I could have other work around my house started. His crews were punctual and did exactly what they promised. I own Lavish Gardens Landscape and take great pride in a being professional, being on time for every appointment, and doing quality work with integrity. I called Brad for an estimate. He was very responsive, out the same day. I needed the work done quickly, he made time for me within the following week and at a very reasonable price. Not only was he on time, he was a bit early! I actually added a few things to my previous list. He was very fair in pricing my add on's and very gracious about doing what I asked. Except for a very small amount of trimmings from a shrub that were left and I missed when we walked through my yard afterward, everything was cleaned up and taken away.I requested that they skim any debris out of my pool afterward (other tree services I've hired did not) and they did as I asked. The trees look great & my yard doesn't look like a jungle any more . I will hire Capital Tree Service again next time I need tree work done.
