Arbor Task Tree Service

A crew of five workers trimmed four tall queen palms in my back yard in a space that was very tight, between pool equipment and a fence. They also had very little room to maneuver the trimmings out to the street. The trees had many fruit pods that had to be lowered on ropes to avoid hitting anything below. In an hour and a half the crew did a great job trimming, hauling away the debris, and cleaning anything that had fallen anywhere on the path to their truck. They also raked and blew all the flowers and seed pods and removed them. They were a little late arriving, but that was possibly because I had a previous appointment and they wanted to be sure I was there (?) Great job!

I'm sorry to have to write this review because Wayne is a nice guy but clearly Arbor Task Tree Service is experiencing some issues with the way they schedule and complete tasks. ATTS removed a small palm in front our our home in late November (2015). The cost was $350. We were told they would come back to remove the stump with a grinder whenever we wanted to schedule it. After the holidays, we requested them to come remove it. They have now promised us five (5!) different dates to remove the stump and have not kept their word on any of these dates. This past weekend, I spoke to Wayne (again) and he promised me (again) that it would be removed on either Saturday or Sunday. Well, today is Monday and the stump is still there. My guess is, because they quoted us for the stump removal at $50, it's not worth their time. Coincidentally, every time I called and asked about the stump removal, I was met with, "Well have you decided to remove the trees in your backyard, too?" The backyard tree removal is a very expensive job and I feel like I'm being held for ransom: the stump will be removed if and when we agree to thousands of dollars of work in our backyard. This is not an ethical way to run a business. To do half a job and leave an unsightly stump in front of someone's home for months shows a lack of consideration and respect for one's clients. No, thanks. We'll be contacting another service to remove the stump AND for the big, pricey job in the backyard. So disappointed.

When the evaluater came out, we had a discussion about the tree and what to do. I did not want to get rid of the tree because I like those kinds of trees. He said that the tree was so entangled and that the best thing to do would be to remove it. After all was said and done, it was indeed the best decision for the tree. For the other two trees, the small one was removed and the other laced. They trimmed another tree that was behind them. It was a good recommendation. The only issue was that some sucker roots that had extended out weren't removed completely and they were coming out through the ground. They had very good equipment and sent out a good team with the right amount o people. They worked fast and knew what they were doing. They were very efficient on how they approached the project. I think the price was okay because they had quite a lot to be done. Everything went very smoothly from the time they started the work. They cleaned up before they left.

Alman Grant is the tree cut service provider for Clean Cut Tree Service. He was recommended to us from a neighbor. Encountering Alman is a rare experience - he is one of those people who is truly in the right business. He has a genuine interest and almost love for the trees he works with. He is very knowledgeable about tree trimming. I have seen the results of other tree trimmers and they leave the trees looking awful, overcut, etc. Alman approaches this work as an art form. He removes just the right amount of the tree and leaves in aesthetically beautiful and intact. The cost is reasonable given the work and time he spends. I have always been pleased with the results of the service. He will not do work on a tree when it is not the right season for trimming (winter only for the pines).

I called 5 tree services and was only able to get an estimate from this company. Others said they were coming and never showed. It took about 2 weeks to get the estimate, but since he was the only one willing to do the work, I accepted. He arrived on time and was pleasant to work with. I think the amount was reasonable to pay - it took about 2 hours of work to remove the stumps.
